But two of his all-time favorite fashions are that of DJ and producer. Since co-founding House-Heads in 2008, a collective combining forward-thinking music with a quirky underground vibe, he has gone on to join the Listed Bookings roster and host the monthly mix show Heron Sound on Proton Radio. He is also one half of Manju Masi, a collaboration with long-time partner in crime Atish. Over the course of an obsession with dance music now more than 15 years strong, Slee has evolved a style of deep house that reflects a unique personality, balancing intricate grooves, dreamy textures, and playful whimsical bounce. Blending his technical side with intuition and introspection, he takes an approach that tickles both mind and soul. Slee's sets have taken him far and wide, playing for audiences from Cape Town to Playa del Carmen, from Robot Heart to the Cityfox series in NYC. On the home front, his penchant for diverse and well-crafted warmup sets sees him regularly playing SF's top clubs, opening for DJs like Danny Tenaglia, Danny Howells, Lee Burridge, Guy Gerber, Mathew Dekay, Vincenzo, Andre Lodemann, and Hector. Since the young age of 14 the passion and ardor for the techno movement in Europe, encourage him to explore the variety of the expression of tendency that was revolutioning the world music Club scene. Like each young talented dj, Neuroxyde is searching the road for the access in his City Clubs and with the passing by of the time he becomes well-known to the public. His attraction for the electronic grooves, brings him to meet Andrea Prezioso, his “precious” mentor for a few years, and releasing his first production in 1997. From this point on was for Neuroxyde clear on his mind, that this would be his destination, like a Train rail without stops. Till 2002, year which inaugurates his first professional studio, he switches music productions and gigs on the whole Italian territory. With his actual collaborators (Valentina Dante, David Jones and Aqua Diva) administrates different well know Italian labels of the last few years, moving from different styles and genres taking him to the top of the Top sales charts in Europe. In 2007 he wins the silver disk in France with over 100.000 sold singles and more than 400.000 copies all over the globe. From the old continent to the whole Globe a short step: Starlight Music is born and in a short break of time it becomes one of the most researched and respected labels, boasting of collaborations with artists of worldwide fame like Shara Nelson of Massive Attack, Dubfire, D.O.N.S. to mention a few. The next step is take of granted: create a label made to fit with his passion and musical requirements. Neurotraxx is born, a forge that materialize tracks that are played by the most influenced top dj’s of the world. His devotion of the world of Club is still today alive, and his competence and professionalism are unquestionably appreciated. In the last year with the name of Aki Bergen he found his leading way alsoin the world of deep house,producing some of the most played records of the last months. 2011 Dec "Take Your Time Young Man.." Obviously a wink and a nod to the mini "Mama Used to Say" mix and a private message to my nine year old son.. I am almost” housed-out” running out of good material and about to venture into Tranceland to get ready for the end of year festivities... Furthermore, in light of valuable comments posted on the web, I must confess that I did listen and have consequently tamed down the “gratuitous” sampling in this episode. The gist of “Take Your Time Young Man” is to transport the listener from a deep/techy groove (I need street cred ;) ) to a happy, funky place by the end of the set. I will have you on your tippy toes dancing around the room within a very small half hour! We start comfortably sat in Barcelona chairs in the back room, with a low, deep underground club vibe, filtered and tweaked to the max all destined to awaken your aural senses . Do not be discouraged ! Slowly some snippets of funk are introduced and sure enough we progress to an old skool soulful place to accommodate the glucose addict residing in all of us. Finally, we leave our comfy chairs, step in the main room and shake our collective a$$es to big club tunes… Well, at least this was the initial idea. If by the end of this set, you have not felt the urge to stamp your feet and lift your hands… I simply failed… A mini-mix, within the mix, with “Mama Used to Say” which, I thought would be a fun old skool tune for my children to be introduced to onto a Sandy Rivera’s extravaganza to mark his full return to big tunes in 2012.   Playlist 2011 Brooklyn Bullets (Original Mix) [Xtian Mr Dj Edit]. I absolutely love the retake of "Mama Used to Say", so melodic, so well well produced and Akram Sedkaoui has a crystal voice. Those guys brought us "Each & Everyda"y this year, they are on a roll! In "Walk Away" ATFC teamed up with Lisa Shaw and showed that all we need is a great vocalist, a great tune and great production.. Not so hard ;).. "Stealing Love" from Grant Nelson, need I say more.. And then I had a play with Sandy Rivera's  great tunes of the year.. with a remix of "I Need to Love Me" not to miss. To  sum up, it would appear that the "old guys" Grant Nelson, Rivera, Layabouts, ATFC has showing all the young ones, that they can wipe them off the charts at any time..   Travelling to Tranceland (unless I managed to finish off one mix I have on the hard drive and can't wrap up) as I need to prepare a New Eve Set.. and a brand new Traktor S2 deck is waiting for me still in the box.. Panting in anticipation..
