Medvirkende: Philipp-Maximilian Kemmler-Erdmannsdorffer, Manager Communications & Public Affairs, NIO GmbH. As the 2016 presidential election comes to a close there remains at least one thing most Americans can agree on — we are glad it is almost over. (Featured photo courtesy of Ted Eytan on Flickr) Their candid antithesis makes most think they are deeply opposed candidates, but in the end they may not be as different as you think. Just reflect on what they haven’t discussed in the debate! Aside from a handful of minutes about climate change, nothing about Afghanistan, not one critique of Israel’s settlements in Palestine, Standing Rock and #NoDAPL, Yemen, Black Lives Matter, police violence, or economic inequality? Crickets. That’s because the Commission on Presidential Debates or CPD limit competition from outside candidates, and because the Democrats and Republicans own the CPD, we only ever see Dems/GOP debate. Frank Fahrenkopf Jr. helped to found the CPD and push out the League of Women Voters… He’s still there today, but it might surprise you to learn he served as president of the American Gaming Association, worked for a firm supporting the TPP and TTIP, and even sits on the board of directors for 7 NYSE companies heavily invested in media - all during his tenure as CPD chair. The Native American people known as the Utes long have told the legend of skinwalkers. Men and Women who had the power to change their shape from human to beast and had many other supernatural abilities. The Utes held the strong belief that there were doorways with which one could connect with the spirit world beyond. One of those doorways was said to have been on a piece of land in western Utah that had been cursed by the Apache and was forbidden to be tread upon by the Ute people to this very day. Apparently, a centuries old curse did not concern cattle ranchers when then built a 480 acre ranch on that very piece of land. When the Sherman family bought the ranch in 1994 it would begin the tale of what is believed to be one of North America’s most active sites for the paranormal. The ranch itself and the surrounding area have been the setting for countless reports of strange occurrences. UFOs, strange creatures roaming the hillsides, and mysterious apparitions on the property and even inside the house itself. So, put on your 10 gallon tin foil hats and join Braden, Zel, and Dan as they saddle up and ride out to Skinwalker Ranch.   Sources to consider: https://thoughtcatalog.com/emily-madriga/2018/04/creepy-facts-about-utahs-skinwalker-ranch-2/ https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/16/us/politics/pentagon-program-ufo-harry-reid.html https://leakproject.com/skinwalker-ranch-paranormal-place-us-cattle-mutilations-greys-ufos-scene/ https://www.bloomberg.com/research/stocks/private/snapshot.asp?privcapId=331518884 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Institute_for_Discovery_Science https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bigelow_Aerospace http://www.skinwalkerranch.org/timeline.html
