The R.O.C.'s story with Psychopathic Records is an interesting one. From touring with ICP as a member of H.O.K., to leaving H.O.K., inadvertently causing Mr. Bones and Hektik to rebrand as Jamie Madrox and Monoxide Child and become Twiztid on Psychopathic, continuing to use H.O.K. and also releasing music as a solo artist, to patching things up with his former group members and eventually joining The Hatchet himself, he had done a lot in his rap career. Joining Hatchet House, R.O.C. would initially be Blaze's hype man and partner in the new group Zodiac Mprint, but before we would get a record from the duo, a solo release was necessary to get people up to speed. We've finally come to the conclusion of our "Shit We Missed". We laughed, we cried, Schmeev threatened to punch Mike in the skull repeatedly for forcing him to listen to these, but we made it. Unfortunately, due to a number of reasons, the album came and went with little fanfare. Mike was finally able to acquire a copy of this album, so it only made sense to try and find out just why Juggalos as a whole didn't gravitate towards it. Was V Sinizter still green as an artist? We all remember the story of ICP's overnight success after the infamous "Disney Scandal". With a wave of Milenko's wand, the Wicked Clowns were in the public eye, underdogs of the world who had their hard work pulled out from under them. Island Records made the big save, and they were fully behind Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope. One such way of doing this was by buying out a dedicated timeslot on MTV to play whatever they wanted, which meant airing a documentary dedicated to ICP and the Juggalos. A video tape (and later on, DVD release) of this meant that new and old Juggalos could experience this whenever they wanted, and so we're doing that here! Way back in 1977 Elvis Costello released his debut album. 13 years later, I was born. 20-something years later I was introduced to said album and determined it was one of the greatest things I'd ever heard, from a songwriting, compositional, really every standpoint. Does Mike have an appreciation for this kind of old-fashioned rock and roll? Does it baffle him as a temporal anomaly, existing across many generations of genres while sounding clean as heck?
