It is time to gather together one last time and take a look back at Survivor South Pacific. We got a full spectrum of responses on season 23. As always, you provided a thoughtful reflection on this season's castaways and the major events that shaped the game. Some Survivors were taken to task and others were celebrated. Semhar's influence can still be felt as several spoken word summaries were provided, and we enjoyed it all. We will be on break until February when Survivor One World makes its debut. Until then have a great holiday and happy new year. For each new episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Twenty seven die hard fans shared their thoughts on episode 14, the finale and the season as a whole. We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great Listener Feedback show. We want to especially thank all of you that got your responses in early! Another solid episode and you guys really brought some great analysis and serious laughs to this weeks feedback show. No one shed a tear over Semhar's departure. Nor did anyone seem surprised that Papa Bear ended up at Redemption Beach. Everyone expects that Christine will make quick work of him. We were split on what the future may hold for Cochran as well as Brandon's groan worthy attempt to be a good religious representative. For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. This week we interviewed Semhar Tadesse. She left the game in episode 3 of Survivor South Pacific. She voiced a passion to play the game and took the risk of stepping up to help her team for the first immunity challenge, but things went south for her when she failed to perform. Listen to this interview to find out how she was cast, her assessment of her tribemates, what we missed at that first tribal council and lots more! The strong episodes continue with week 2, and judging from your feedback, a lot of us are thrilled to have so many in the cast this season that actually appear to be playing the game with some gusto. Brandon's bizzare behaviour continues to be a centerpiece for discussion. Many were not remotely surprised to see Christine go, most of us hope you quickly puts Semhar out of her misery at Redemption Beach. There are still lots of well wishers for Cochran, but some have begun to express their doubts as to whether he can secure a complete comeback. For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, which will start again after the first buff gets burned at Redemption Arena, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Welcome back! We thought that was an excellent first episode. We loved all the extra time we got to observe how the interpersonal relationships were developing. The castaways that are known Survivor fans certainly found themselves in some precarious positions in the first 3 days that included flashbacks to recent seasons. Dawn fell down the "Holly Hole" and experienced a complete meltdown similar to what we witnessed in Nicaragua. Christine managed to double up and mimic the poor choices of both Francesca and Kristina from episode 1 of Redemption Island. Poor Cochran managed to become a target even though Semhar failed miserably at the immunity challenge and then went on to antagonize her tribe. Can you see any way for Cochran to redeem himself? Who surprised you the most? Did your impressions of anyone change dramatically after getting to see them in this first episode? How would you rate Ozzy and Coach's game so far? Here are the tribes after episode 1. Savaii:Cochran, Dawn, Elyse, Jim, Keith, Mark Anthony, Ozzy and Whitney Upolu:Albert, Brandon, Coach, Christine, Edna, Mikayla, Rick, Sophie and Stacey Redemption Island: Semhar Jo ann thinks Christine will be next go. Stacy thinks it will be Upolu at Tribal Council, but that they will choose to send Brandon to Redemption Island instead. Who is your pick for the next one to be voted out?
