Adam and JP are joined by local podcast detective Luke Scorcio to talk about Something Nice Back Home. We have a full medical team here at Lost on Lost Hospital. We have fertility specialist appendectomies, dentist anesthesias, physicist autopsies, and spinal surgeon garage beers. And all of our smoke detectors are totally working. Why would you even ask about that. Oh, you didn't? Remember to leave some Percocet out for your ghost dad! If you're in the LA area and want to check out some great comedy preformed by Luke, head on over to the PACK theatre: https://www.packtheater.com/

On the island, Jack has appendicitis and Juliet saves the day. But we spend most of this episode discussing the flash-forward, in which Jack and Kate appear to be happily raising Aaron together until Hurley and Christian Shephard fan the flames of doubt within Jack, starting him down the path that leads back to the Island. And production designer Jim Newport returns to the show with stories about early plans for the Temple and more. Find us on Twitter @TheHatchPodcast and at Facebook.com/thehatchpodcast. We're back for some more Lost as we move into the 10th episode of the 4th season, Something Nice Back Home. What is the point of this episode? Do we like Jane? Do we like peach lace panties? Are we happy to see Kate and Jack finally together? Can we get #RecycleForBoone trending by the end of this episode? What is the point of this flashforward? Can we get Jack and his appendicitis storyline over with in less than 5 minutes? Does Juliette really know a lot about appendicitis? Why does Charlotte speak Korean? How annoying is Claire once again? And how will we rate this episode at the end? It's an odd one, so don't feel odd by missing out on it!★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★
It's Danielle's first season 4 episode and uh, things are confusing. On the island, Jack apparently has appendicitis so newcomers Dan and Charlotte (who Danielle's only seen previously in the S5 episode "Jughead") try to gain beach crew's trust by traveling with Jin and Sun for supplies. While traveling with Claire, Aaron, and Sawyer, Miles gets weird visions of dead people. Meanwhile, we seemingly have flashforwards again... or is it an alternative timeline? Hurly declares something that puts Danielle in a tailspin which is why this episode is our longest yet. :S Episode beverages: Russian River's Supplication 2016 and Temptation 2014
GUEST: Wayne Tsuji In this episode, Paul welcomes back a recurring guest, Wayne. They discuss "Something Nice Back Home". There's a patented 'Kate Fail' from Wayne, there's some laughs, some in-depth character moments, and Wayne comes up with perhaps the craziest theory yet! Will you agree? Listen in and find out!
It's all about Jack this week. On the Island, he's having emergency surgery on the beach, which he attempts to stay awake for and in control of. Luckily, Juliet is the most rational person after Sayid, and she's having none of Jack's nonsense. In the flash-forward, we see that Jack and Kate are together and raising Aaron. But things aren't as happy as Jack wants to believe, especially after he gets a visit from his dead dad, and Kate fulfills a promise she made to Sawyer but won't tell Jack what it was. It looks like this is the beginning of the end not only for Jack and Kate, but for Jack's clean-shaven face because we know that beard is coming.

Am Strand wird eine Operation vorbereitet und Jack schließlich operiert. Im Flash Foreward lebt Jack zu Beginn glücklich mit Kate und Aaron zusammen. Doch dann beginnt er seinen Vater zu sehen...

In episode 40 of We Have To Go Back Podcast we continue season 4 of our LOST rewatch with episode 4×07, “Ji Yeon” and episode 4×08, “Meet Kevin Johnson.” In “Ji Yeon” we get thrown for a loop as we see a flashforward of the birth of Sun and Jin's baby, Ji Yeon, and Jin trying to get to the hospital for the birth of a baby...that turns out to be a flashback. Well, this was a pain in the ass. We started recording this episode on the Friday before Thanksgiving, but found ourselves interrupted during the discussion of LOST! (we're talking about "Something Nice Back Home," "Cabin Fever," and "There's No Place Like Home, Pt. 1" this week). So we tried to reconvene a couple of times, but...that didn't work out so well. So, almost a week later, we rejoined to finish this glued together, shambling monster of a podcast. The conversation is good though, with the LOST! talk sandwiched by Elementary and Friday Night Lights. Next week (by which I mean this week, probably tomorrow), back to Deep Space Nine, with "Crossfire," "Return to Grace," and "Sons of Mogh."
We open up this week's show by talking about math for no discernible reason, then move on to our usual topics: grousing about the procedural mechanics of Elementary, gushing about Deep Space Nine -- in this case, the delightfully silly "Our Man Bashir" and the brooding two-parter "Homefront" and "Paradise Lost" -- and raving about Friday Night Lights.Next week, Jack's dad wants to talk to about a couple of things on LOST!, with "Something Nice Back Home," "Cabin Fever," and "There's No Place Like Home, Part 1."
Take a chill pill: this week, Matt looks back at LOST episode 4x10, "Something Nice Back Home." The podcast discusses the rollicking island appendicitis, Jack's compelling flashforward slide to substance abuse, and explores who island Christian and flashfoward Christian really are.
