The wave of "pretty good" to "good" movies continues, with Birds of Prey and the Way Too Big, Long Movie Title! They decided to pull out all the stops with this one: a great cast, doing great acting, with great costume design (according to the two of us who notice that stuff.) This movie got THEMES?! Also, Zsasz takes some faces off! Yucko! Sam | Val | Gigalithic Twitter
Spoiler alert: YUCKO! We review Hungry Jack's Yumbo, the only burger in the world to contain two heat-blasted slices of plastic cheese, smothered in five warm slices of sub-deli-quality ham. You can smell it well before you can taste it. And well afterwards, too. Already Saturday is an independent podcast hosted by Sydney-based journalists Phoebe Loomes and Nathan Jolly. The 2ndFrightcaps at the Theater festival begins with a trip back to youth. Don’t you ever reminisce about pouring sugar over your cereal, right before sitting down for Saturday Morning Cartoons? And what about the toys? Were you the lucky owner of a Good Guys Doll? Did you ever have a better friend than that warm piece of cheap plastic? We…don’t think so. If you ever want to go back to that time, there’s only one easy thing you need to do. Simply, find a vessel, chant the enclosed Voodoo ritual, and you’ll never have to worry about the horrors of adulthood ever again. See it’s Child’s Play. Batteries *not* included. Waco O'Guin and Roger Black met at the University of Georgia in 1999 and would go on to create The DAMN! Show which would eventually be picked up and repackaged as Stankervision by MTV2. Roger also worked with The Regular Guys as his character Yucko the Clown -- who would go on to be a featured on Howard Stern. In 2012 they created Brickleberry which was originally pitched to Fox and Adult Swim but was picked up by Comedy Central where, executive producer and the voice of not-so-cuddly bear Malloy, Daniel Tosh’s Tosh.0 was just gaining traction. The show ended after three hilariously irreverent seasons but Waco and Roger have gone on to create a new program set to premiere on August 31st on Netflix called Paradise PD -- featuring some Radio Labyrinth favorite voice actors such as Dana Snyder, Tom Kenney and Kyle Kinane.
