Some of what I carry is visible—responsibilities, conversations, pressures. Some of it sits deeper—unspoken concerns, lingering thoughts, quiet weight. And I feel it. But I do not hold onto it. I release it to You. I do not try to carry what was never mine to keep. I do not allow this weight to follow me into the evening. I place it fully into Your hands. You receive it. Not reluctantly, not partially—but completely. You care for me in a way that is constant and unchanging. You sustain me when I feel stretched, and You hold what feels heavy. So I choose trust. Not based on what I see, but based on who You are. You are faithful. You are present. You are already working beyond what I understand. And I hold this truth — You love me. Because You love me, I am not alone in what I carry. Because You love me, I am not responsible for everything. Because You love me, I can release and rest. Jesus, settle my heart. Let peace take the place of pressure. Let trust rise where anxiety once sat. Let this evening be marked by calm, not by weight. I release. I trust. I rest in You. I hand it over to You. Not partially, not carefully—but fully. What feels heavy, what feels unresolved, what still circles in my thoughts—I entrust it into Your care. You sustain me. You do not ask me to manage everything before I come to You. You meet me as I am, and You carry what I release. So I loosen my grip. I allow Your peace to replace the tension I have carried. I allow Your presence to settle what I could not resolve on my own. And I hold this truth—You love me. Because You love me, You care about what concerns me. Because You love me, I do not need to carry life alone. Because You love me, I can rest in Your faithfulness. Jesus, receive what I release. Let my heart become lighter. Let my mind settle. MESSAGE SUMMARY:  Even though we are followers of Jesus, we live in a world of hurting people; but we have the answer to their pain. God has blessed us so that we might be a blessing to others, and He has healed us so that we might provide God's healing powers to others. He has saved us so that we might be His ambassadors. While we have the answer, we keep the answer to ourselves in the way we live and by not speaking about Jesus to others. Before Jesus Ascension, He instructed us, in Matthew 28:16-20, that we must “Go” and tell others about the answer, which the Gospel provides, by “making Disciples”: “Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'”. Therefore, you must communicate the Answer of Jesus and the Gospel to others through both your “talk” and the way that you “walk” in your life. Walk the walk and talk the talk to share Jesus with others.   TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord, I acknowledge that I prefer to ignore and deny my pain and loss.
