A dominant offensive performance, supported by a stout defense led the tigers to the third national title in program history. Credit to LSU, Coach Orgeron, and Joe Burrow for defeating the most dominant team in the college football over the last two seasons. Trevor Lawrence and the Clemson Tigers put up a valiant effort in this heavy weight fight but in the end the tigers from Baton Rouge proved to be too much.
