Disney unveiled an all-new addition to their lineup of Lightning Lane offerings, with the Lightning Lane Premier Pass. In this episode we break down all the details of this new offering, starting up in just two weeks. This will be Disney's first "express style" pass where guests are entitled to enter the Lightning Lane once per attraction during the day, without the need to make a return time. We are coming to you this week with an episode that's a little different from what we normally bring you here on A Couple Of Park Hoppers. We are bringing you a very important message from a very special guest, who is here with us in studio this week. Our guest this week is Danette Goad, who is the mother of Ally Goad, who tragically was taken from us on September 11, 2021 in Texas by someone who made the terrible choice to drink and get behind the wheel of a car. Danette, along side her family and friends have started an organization in Ally's memory, called Ally Rocks 405, which participates in spreading awareness about drinking and driving through art, most specifically painting rocks to hide around the Florida theme park's parking and the entire country, to keep daughter's memory alive and by sharing a message about her in each hide. Over the last few months, we've had the honor and pleasure of meeting and getting to know the Goad family, who tragically lost their daughter Ally from a crash with a drunk driver in Texas. Ally's favorite place in the world was Universal Orlando, where she and her family would visit frequently. We have gotten to know the Goad family quite well as of late, and we wanted to use our platform to help spread the word of Ally's story. Hurricane Ian has come and gone, and what a wild week it has been. From family having to cancel travel plans, and shuffling around our schedules, we're glad it's over. However, just before Ian arrived, we decided to do not one, but TWO character dining experiences! We returned to Tusker House at Disney's Animal Kingdom, where we encountered a bit of a surprise, but had a great time with Mickey and the gang! We also visited Story Book Dining at Artist Point at Disney's Wilderness Lodge for the first time, and had a magical evening with Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy and The Queen.
