The Yeah C'mon Show 06/05/2026 - Live From The Rock N Taco w/Slippery When Wet.

As I said last episode, a lot of the energy of rock n roll came from youthful rebellion against the culture, values, and politics of the older generation.  This was a big deal in the 1950's, with Elvis and his dancing, and suggestive songs and bands, but the youthful rebellion thing went to a whole other level in the 1960's. While pop rockers like the Beatles created sort of sappy love songs, there were also a bunch of rock n roll musicians whose music was a more direct and critical rejection of old people culture.  

Podcast de l'émission radio RIG 90.7 "Johnny de A à Z" n°612 Palais des Sports du mercredi 3 juin 2006En 1960, c'est la seule salle de la capitale pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 5 000 spectateurs. La salle parisienne à « ouvrir ses portes » au rock 'n' roll en présentant trois festival international de rock : le premier, le vendredi 24 février, voit Johnny Hallyday s'y produire en vedette, et débuter Les Chaussettes Noires… De 1967 à 1982, Johnny Hallyday fait du Palais des Sports sa salle de prédilection. Le mercredi 14 novembre 1967, il y donne un musicorama qui fait date. L'évènement est retransmis en direct sur les ondes de la station de radio Europe 1 et commenté par l'animateur Hubert Wayaffe. Fort de ce succès il y revient un an et demi plus tard et y présente du samedi 26 avril au dimanche 4 mai 1969 ce qui est considéré comme son premier grand spectacle et est désigné à l'époque par le magazine Rock & Folk comme le show de l'an 2000. Il y chante encore du 24 septembre au 14 octobre 1971, où il est pour l'occasion accompagné tous les soirs par Michel Polnareff au piano. Il y revient à nouveau cinq ans plus tard en 1976 où du mardi 28 septembre au dimanche 31 octobre 200 000 spectateurs en 35 représentations vont assister au show Hallyday story, établissant un nouveau record d'affluence. En 1982, il y est à nouveau de retour avec le show « Fantasmhallyday » et reste à l'affiche du mardi 14 septembre au jeudi 11 novembre, attirant en 54 représentations, 250 000 spectateurs. La banda chilena Rock N' Chile pasó por los estudios de Ritoque FM este miércoles 20 de mayo, en una conversación donde abordaron su propuesta musical, su juventud y la mirada crítica que tienen sobre la escena actual, marcada por la falta de espacios para el desarrollo de nuevas bandas. El trío —integrado por Felipe Falacia (guitarra), Thom Tarola (batería) y Ariel Panketa (bajo)— compartió su experiencia levantando un proyecto que no deja indiferente: generan tanto seguidores como detractores, evidenciando una ruptura generacional dentro del rock chileno. Durante la entrevista, también reflexionaron sobre la necesidad urgente de escenarios donde las nuevas generaciones puedan foguearse, en un contexto donde el rock busca reinventarse y reconectar con el público. Una conversación directa, provocadora y necesaria, que ya puedes escuchar en nuestras plataformas.
