Halloween Horror Nights 2026 is here, and this year I experienced Universal Studios Hollywood in a completely different way—with Unlimited Express.In this episode, I break down and rank all eight haunted houses from least favorite to best, including Stranger Things, Sinners, Evil Dead Burn, KILLceañera, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness, Hellraiser and more. I also share the story behind the best scare of the night, why some houses are significantly better after dark, and which house ultimately took my #1 spot.Beyond the houses, I cover FORTNITEMARES and the other scare zones, the Terrifier-themed Terror Tram, Death Eaters in Hogsmeade, food and merchandise, Early Access, and my first experience using Unlimited Express—including whether I think it's actually worth the extra money.And somehow, Horror Nights also turned into my first ride on Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift during technical rehearsals.Was this the best HHN house lineup I've experienced? While we were all geared up to talk about Living With The Land, we realized real quick that the 4 of us haven't been in the same room for a while and decided to shoot the shit for an hour. Pete reported back on opening night at HHN. Rob talked about his concept art being featured in the Disneyland Paris book, Adventure Has a New Name. Cody filled us in on his new immersive Radley Experience, Relics and Lore, and Danny was Danny. Enjoy!

We kick things off breaking down how Premium Scream Night went this year and honestly the vibe was pretty great. Way fewer people compared to last year, waits were super low, and media was actually hosted on the official opening night this time around which is a change from how things have gone before. Big news for folks who follow event coverage closely. Then we get into Stay and Scream and there was some good stuff happening there too. The event opened earlier than the usual 2pm cutoff, all the houses were up and running by 6, and yeah some of those waits were hitting 60 minutes around 4pm on that first Friday and Saturday. But listen, it was opening weekend. It's always going to be heavier on those first few weekends. Come back on a Sunday or a weeknight and you're going to have a completely different experience. We also talk about the scrim around the arch entrance to Universal Studios Florida getting a little facelift with a new HHN medallion mock up on the arch, which is a fun detail. And we have some news out of Epic Universe as Captain Cacao is no longer doing meet and greets over there. Then we switch gears into one of our favorite kinds of conversations: Underrated vs Overrated across all three parks. We're going category by category covering rollercoasters, family attractions, shows, hotels, snacks, quick service, table service, character meet and greets, bars and lounges, and nighttime spectaculars. John Murdy hosted his annual Halloween Horror Nights panel at Midsummer Scream and it finalized the HHN 2026 lineup. Art the Clown will be taking over the Terror Tram, long rumored originals are confirmed, and the shock of the night comes as Murdy reveals that Nikki from Obsession will be featured at the event.
