    Executive Director, Steve White, sits down with resident expert Dr. Carl Cadwell to discuss health, nutrition, and how to be the healthiest at 100.    Dr. Carl Cadwell is the founder of Cadwell Labs here in Kennewick Wa and our resident health expert here at The Pacific Clinic. Dr. Cadwell and Steve White have been friends and colleagues for many years. Dr. Cadwell continues to give solid, educated information and advice to all of us here at The Pacific Clinic. Dr. Cadwell is an avid pickleball player and water skier. At the youthful age of 78, Dr. Cadwell shows no signs of stopping his typical action packed day! He is a perfect example of our motto- "Play Hard, Live Well"

Dr. White is the father of Steve White, executive director of The Pacific Clinic. 90 year old Dr. White has over 50 years of serving our local community and beyond. He has been a valuable resident, pastor, father, husband and friend to so many people here in the Tri-Cities. He has touched many lives and helped youth stay out of trouble. As we sit down with Dr. White, we ask him how to help others and have a servant heart as he has had for the last 90 years.

Beat Disease sits down with local dentist Dr. Bryce Holmes to discuss preventable treatment. Its never too late to BEAT DISEASE!       Dr. Holmes is a Washington native and grew up in the Pacific Northwest. After graduating Brigham Young University-Idaho he went on to attend Oregon Health and Science University where he earned his Dental Degree. Wanting to be able to provide the very best level of care for his patients he went on to complete an optional year of training in a General Practice Residency where he received further education in advanced dental procedures like dental implants and complex root canals. Dr. Holmes loves spending time with his wife and four children. As a family they love being outside and traveling together to visit grandparents. They are happy residents of the Tri Cities and enjoy the surrounding beauty and ample sunshine on this side of the state Education Dr. Bryce Holmes is grateful for the experiences he had in Rexburg Idaho while he attended Brigham Young University-Idaho. The cold winters made it easy to study in the warm library. After graduating BYUI, Dr. Holmes was accepted and attended Oregon Health and Science University where he enjoyed being close to family and reuniting with the Pacific Northwest. He earned his Dental Degree in 2017. Dr. Bryce Holmes always knew he wanted to be a dentist, but being in school and getting to help patients achieve a healthy, beautiful smile solidified his love for it. “Being a dentists is an incredibly rewarding profession. Each day people trust me to care for their oral and overall health. Im humbled by that responsibility and take it very seriously” Further Education During dental school Dr. Holmes quickly came to love helping patients get out of pain and replacing missing teeth. He sought further education to advance his skills in helping patients achieve the very best possible outcomes. He attended Hackensack University Medical Center in a General Practice Residency. There he focused on advanced procedures in all aspects of dentistry including complicated root canals, dental implants and other surgical procedures, and the management of medically complex patients. This elective year of education provided Dr. Holmes with the skills needed to keep his patients safe while providing exceptional dental care. Hobbies Outside of Work Dr. Holmes enjoys many things. His absolute favorite is spending time with his beautiful wife Kayla and their three children. As a family they love to hike, swim, ride bikes and play tennis. They also enjoy traveling to the west side of the state to visit grandparents and family.

In this episode we talk with Dr. Berman Ph.D., C.B.T., and talk about the benefits of photobiomodulation.  More about Dr. Berman -  Dr. Berman earned his Master's and PhD in Psychoeducational Processes from Temple University, where he studied group and organizational behavior. He obtained certification in Bioenergetic Analysis at the Philadelphia Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis in 1983. He has participated in post-graduate training workshops and seminars in Systems-Centered Therapy, and the Feldenkrais Method. He was certified in EEG biofeedback in 2003. Dr. Berman currently consults to senior executives and management teams on the application of cognitive neuroscience in leadership development and performance. He has often consulted on issues regarding team development, group relations, and organizational culture. He has taken a leadership role in expanding the application of EEG biofeedback and related technologies into the treatment of and neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric disorders.

The Beat Disease team and Aaron discuss hormones, inflammation, and body imbalances that are causing disease in today's populations and how one can turn their health around to beat disease.      About Aaron: He completed his BSN through the Spokane campus of WSU and practiced as a nurse in the Emergency Department in Spokane and in Portland while he finished his Master's degree. He received his MSN degree through Oregon Health and Science University on Portland and graduated with his ARNP license in Family medicine.  ​ Aaron grew up in the Columbia Basin in Moses Lake Washington, and returned to the area to practice as an ARNP at the Kadlec Emergency Department for 10 years. He began working part time in Family Practice through the Prosser Memorial Health System in 2009 while also working with a Cosmetic specialty practice perfecting his skills of performing Botox injections, Dermal Filler injections, and facial rejuvenation techniques.  ​ In 2012 Aaron opened up Total Care Clinics as a full time practice featuring complete family practice medicine, management of care for Labor and Industry injuries, and treatment of patients involved in Motor vehicle accidents. He has continued ongoing education to specialize in Bio-Identical Hormone therapies, Platelet Rich Plasma injections, and advanced facial injection techniques. Aaron is also a federally certified Medical Examiner to be able to offer services for DOT exams.
