How do we create space for ourselves, and how does this help our thoughts grow? For me having the definition that space is a place with zero expectations and I can just be is helpful. I shared some personal examples and other thoughts I hope will help you in this endeavor. Currently I am in between chapters of my life, and I do need to give myself tons of grace and patience. Heart disease, periodontal disease, inflammation, heavy metal poisoning...Some of the few diseases that can start with poor oral hygiene. How can we prevent this from happening? Beat Disease sits down with local dentist Dr. Bryce Holmes to discuss preventable treatment. Its never too late to BEAT DISEASE!       Dr. Holmes is a Washington native and grew up in the Pacific Northwest. After graduating Brigham Young University-Idaho he went on to attend Oregon Health and Science University where he earned his Dental Degree. Wanting to be able to provide the very best level of care for his patients he went on to complete an optional year of training in a General Practice Residency where he received further education in advanced dental procedures like dental implants and complex root canals. Dr. Holmes loves spending time with his wife and four children. As a family they love being outside and traveling together to visit grandparents. They are happy residents of the Tri Cities and enjoy the surrounding beauty and ample sunshine on this side of the state Education Dr. Bryce Holmes is grateful for the experiences he had in Rexburg Idaho while he attended Brigham Young University-Idaho. The cold winters made it easy to study in the warm library. After graduating BYUI, Dr. Holmes was accepted and attended Oregon Health and Science University where he enjoyed being close to family and reuniting with the Pacific Northwest. He earned his Dental Degree in 2017. Dr. Bryce Holmes always knew he wanted to be a dentist, but being in school and getting to help patients achieve a healthy, beautiful smile solidified his love for it. “Being a dentists is an incredibly rewarding profession. Each day people trust me to care for their oral and overall health. Im humbled by that responsibility and take it very seriously” Further Education During dental school Dr. Holmes quickly came to love helping patients get out of pain and replacing missing teeth. He sought further education to advance his skills in helping patients achieve the very best possible outcomes. He attended Hackensack University Medical Center in a General Practice Residency. There he focused on advanced procedures in all aspects of dentistry including complicated root canals, dental implants and other surgical procedures, and the management of medically complex patients. This elective year of education provided Dr. Holmes with the skills needed to keep his patients safe while providing exceptional dental care. Hobbies Outside of Work Dr. Holmes enjoys many things. His absolute favorite is spending time with his beautiful wife Kayla and their three children. As a family they love to hike, swim, ride bikes and play tennis. When Latter-day Saints think about conversion, they often think of individuals joining The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through baptism. But every member is a convert in his or her own right by developing a personal testimony. And sadly, there are times when individuals choose to leave the gospel path. This episode of the Church News podcast features information about those who come back, who reengage in the gospel and build stronger foundations than before. These “reconversions” happen more often than one might think.Eric d'Evegnée and Sarah Hafen d'Evegnéeare BYU-Idaho English professors. Together they are creating and analyzing a database of reconversion stories to learn lessons that might help those with questions of faith. These efforts began decades ago as Sarah d'Evegnée's father, Elder Bruce C. Hafen, an emeritus general authority of the Church of Jesus Christ, spoke on faith and ambiguity at Ricks College. Their campaign grew with the publication of a book, “Faith Is Not Blind,” by Elder Hafen and his wife, Sister Marie Hafen. Now they all continue the conversation with the Faith Is Not Blind Project.  The Church News Podcast is a weekly podcast that invites listeners to make a journey of connection with members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints across the globe. Host Sarah Jane Weaver, reporter and editor for The Church News for a quarter-century, shares a unique view of the stories, events, and most important people who form this international faith. With each episode, listeners are asked to embark on a journey to learn from one another and ponder, “What do I know now?” because of the experience. Produced by KellieAnn Halvorsen. Declaration of Divinity - Part 4 We know that our Heavenly Father love our LGBTQ children.  Unfortunately this is not always the message they receive in our church communities. Jenie and Allison discuss how harmful it is that our LGBTQ children receive the message of shame about who they are.  Allison share's her brothers journey with this messaging and how that affected his live.  Jenie talks about how sometimes parents are part of this harmful message and what to do next if that has happened in your family. This is a powerful episode about how important our words are to our LGBTQ children. Declaration of Divinity - Part 4 Divine Birthright - We take away an LGBTQ child's divinity and replace it with shame when we tell them the way they were born is not part of God's plan. As mothers we assert that any message taught to our children should reassure them that they are a beloved Child of God and so entitled to all the blessings promised to His faithful children. Anything we're talking to you about has been weighing heavy on our heart and we work on it for weeks and weeks and this one in particular that we're going to talk about today and we're gonna get into in just a minute but I think this has taken us six months out so Allison Dayton  0:28   it feels like it and Jenny got me up at the crack of dawn, before the animals. We ran out of time yesterday Jenie Rae Hunter  0:37   Right so Allison might have a little morning voice because it's very early. Yes, almost morning. We had exciting house here in the hunters like my daughter, Sarah Jane, open up her she's at BYU. So we did it all via Facebook Live but she openened her mission call amd is going to Rome Italy and now her twin is going share her twin already opened her college she's going to Las Vegas, Nevada. So my twins will be out in January and March to go on their mission. So super excited for them. And your you have your BYUI. So, it was busy this week, for sure. And then we have some really exciting things coming up your loved one we're not going to tell you about we're just going to we have a really big announcement that we is squeezing changes happening. Present. It is it is we are so excited about we there's so much going on behind the scenes without that we're not going to we're gonna just tease you but in December we have a big announcement and our live event. Our first Love Allison Dayton  1:37   Live event. It's the first time I think ever that we that mothers of LGBTQ children have gotten an opportunity to be together for two days. Jenie Rae Hunter  1:50   I can not wait. Allison Dayton  1:54    It's going to be February 28 and march 1. Jenie Rae Hunter  1:59   Pretty full days both of those Yep, in what city in Provo? Allison Dayton  2:04   Lindon, it's next to Provo, in the shadow of the great Timpanogos  in this darling Event Center. Jenie Rae Hunter  2:15   And we are taking limited moms like we are making it this very cozy. So by the time you hear this podcast, it is live, Allison Dayton  2:24   Go to liftandlove.org and look at the live event button on the homepage and have a look at it. But it shows you what's paid for in the event proce and what you'll receive. I think the most important thing is you're going to be with a lot of other women who have been going through the same changes that you have, and you are going to find friendship and love and camaraderie and lifelong support. And we just we can't wait we we can't wait to do it. Jenie Rae Hunter  3:05   Yeah. If you know us, we are both kind of party girls. And so we have like it's going to be fun. And our whole purpose for this event coming together as women as moms is to leave with that so much better friendships and community in this because we know how isolating could be as LGBTQ moms, and we are creating things to end that isolation. So we're so excited. So we're going to focus on what we're here today. And we're talking about number four of the declaration of divinity. And this one's exciting. Go ahead, Allison Dayton  3:42   We are going to focus on birthright here. I'm just gonna read it really quick, I'm going to lead with it because these are the words that that began kind of our quest for sort of these statements. We take away our child's divinity and replace it with shame when we tell them the way they were born is not part of God's plan. as mothers, we assert that any message taught to our children should reassure them, that they are beloved children of God, and so entitled to all the blessings promised to his faithful children. Jenie Rae Hunter  4:18   I just, I mean, we know this. When you heard this, I'm sure you felt like we did like, wow, like it hurts that this is truth that we have given our LGBTQ filter and say, shame instead of divinity. We mean we talked to hundreds of moms. And this is the common denominator of what we have to kind of heal in our children of the shame and the trauma that they've received from the messages and potentially it's not I know that it's never been intentional anybody to take away anybody's divinity, but just kind of the platitudes and the things we've said part of our community. This has produced shame, if you're LGBTQ member, Allison Dayton  4:57   Right? And we've we journey and I've just been talking about These words. And it's interesting because I was looking through a journal from last year, and I try and keep I keep, I'm not great at writing journals, but I keep like statements and like inspiration and personal revelation in my journal and part of that first line, they're taking away the Divinity was in there. And Jenny and I have talked about this over the years, with my brother's death and the experiences, the sacred experiences around being in this house, and being part of that. One of the real understandings I had with it, he felt divorced from his heavenly parents when he left the church, because he was gay. And it was something he left when he was 24. And he died at 58. And it was something that he could never heal. And it was actually one of the first real understandings that I had, and I'm sort of ashamed I didn't understand it before.  Unknown Speaker  6:14   he felt Holy Spirit after Yeah. Allison Dayton  6:17   And he was so angry at the church, and that it was hard to look at it in like a healthy, objective way. And anyway, I just this has been in my head for a long time. And I think as Jenny and I have have raised these children, we can see it. This disconnection from their divinity and this disconnection from, from Jesus Christ and from God that we don't nobody intends it to happen. But, because because of some of the words around how we talk about LGBTQ people, it does happen. Jenie Rae Hunter  7:04   It does. And we know how, when you really look at who you are, and how you recreate it with the feeling of shame, like, I mean, how many times have we heard like, well, if I kill myself, then I won't feel this way anymore. And we know of the suicides and we know I mean, this is a serious problem. And, you know, I know, part of my son, I mean, he had some drug use, and it was from this feeling of shame. And it's really hard as parents, because then you have, like, have I add it to that shame. And, you know, like, you have to, it's really kind of devastating to go through it. Because you hold all of us, none of us should feel shameful for who we are, we're 100% worth, and that, you know, it's easier for us. But once when our children are affected, and our siblings, and that's a heartache. That's really it takes a while for you personally to heal for him too. And, you know, I think it's so interesting because Preston, you know, he didn't start that way. Like he served a mission, right?  Allison Dayton  8:06   oh and, and, you know, even and maybe one day we'll, I'll be brave enough to do, we'll do a podcast on suicide, but we were cleaning out his house, there were such symbols, or symbols from our gospel, even a painting he had done at the temple. In his home. They were not out like ours would be. Yeah. But you know, there was actually a photograph of the sacred grove in his home. And those symbols were so important to him, even even in his anger. And I think we, as mothers have just seen this and you know, I had a mom asked me this week, are actually a friend. Another LGBTQ mom said that she had a young man say to her, how do I do this? If God hates me? And the church hates me. And I mean that I know that was never anyone's intent. It's interesting how impactful Elder, Ballard's talk at BYU was when he said to those of you who are LGBTQ, I want you to know that there is a place for you in God's kingdom. Like that is if you're on the Instagram accounts for LGBTQ people that is so often repeated and I know that you'll be saying, well, we maybe we don't take away anyone's divinity. But I think that they we we might not do that, but that is the feeling. Right that our members and our families feel. Jenie Rae Hunter  10:01   Right? And, and we know this to be true because of how many we talked to right. And you know, even when a child is super obedient and you know, goes on a mission because they think this the mission will then solve this what they feel like is shameful about them. And then they come back and, you know, we just stories over and over again about and they, you know they can't even listen to the apostle speak anymore because that triggers that feeling of unworthiness. And so Allison Dayton  10:33   I think I think we're we're getting away from it. But that idea that our families are won't be whole in eternity. So we have this member of the family that won't have an opportunity to be whole, and with us, in celestial glory puts the whole family in question. Right? Jenie Rae Hunter  10:52   Right. And that was just bad interpretation. That's not you know, how Heavenly Father wants us to feel, EVER! Allison Dayton  10:58   And my parents never really bought into that idea that they wouldn't be a whole family, you know, but that didn't take away my brother's pain.Yeah. So it's, it's not just a parent, assuring their child, that their beloved child of God, it's all of us, assuring each other, that we are beloved children of our Heavenly Parents. I mean, that takes all of us to cure this all every Sunday school teacher, every seminary teacher, every neighbor, just like Wow, you are a child of God. And there are new our favorite and there's nothing that can take you away from that birthright.  Jenie Rae Hunter  11:52   Yeah, you are not. You were made not despite his plan, you're part of his plan. Right? You know, to really feel that deep inside. And, you know, I love like, we are all the plan of salvation. You know, we hear a lot of like, Well, where's my child, he's not in the plan of salvation anymore. And I love where in the typical guy that says, the plan of salvation and the premortal existence, Heavenly Father procured a plan to enable us to become like Him and receive a fullness of joy. Because of this plan, we can be perfected through the atonement, receive a fullness of joy, and live forever in the presence of God, our family relationships can last throughout the eternities. And I really subject that we really know, we know less about the plan of salvation than we really like, there's so much more we don't know.  Yeah, I think we have a very scarcity, very focused in view of the planet salvation, that heavenly Father has a much bigger view. And that there is like President Ballard said that there's room for all members in that God's kingdom. And so when we say messages that get when we we just have to be careful how we are teaching, the doctrine interpreting the doctrine, and that we're not othering people because that is what's happened. And I want to teach the doctrine, I love the doctrine of Jesus Christ and love our gospel. And we have to be more careful with how we interpret it and how our words are being said. Allison Dayton  13:18   One of the thingsas you were talking about the Plan of Salvation, so I loved Tammy Uzelac, call on the Sunday on Monday podcast Instagram account said one day, she had, it's a devil in Greek, it means one who separates. And this is, this is the what's happening here, we're separating somebody out of eligibility or the circle I always say we have to redraw or reframe the family so that everybody's back in the family and we we know that the Lord sent us each here with equal potential to get back to him and that was the plan that was the plan that started in in Eden, right? We had we had to be cast out of an Eden to or Adam and Eve did to be able to, educate ourselves as we fight thorns and thistles and noxious weeds, and that's an education that we are working on. All the while to get back to our, you know, to come at the end of the day to the fount to the altar, and pray to the Lord and say, what, what do we need to know and we're blind in this but it was for all children. And I often say to people, there's there's no Heaven without my brother, and my son. I love that. I mean, that's, that's our belief, right? That we are sealed together as families and bound together as family. So I just I revel in the comfort of that, and we don't understand we have no answers. But as mothers, we know, the beauty and the divinity of these children, and the more mothers we talk to the more stories of the Lord helping them in the wilderness to understand these children and to strengthen them, Jenie Rae Hunter  15:49   I think we're talking about this today because, you know, I love that the church has given us so much authority of parents where, you know, once again, we're home center church supported, centers, groups, focus, supportive, yes, church supported, where, you know, you really have this personal authority as parents, to guide your the message that your children hear about the gospel of Jesus Christ. And I love that we have the rule that at any time, you're you could go with any interview with a bishop or state president and sit there with your child and make sure the messages are in with align with what you're telling at church and at you know, I mean, start telling at home, because, you know, there's I love bishops and state presidents, they've worked so hard, right? That like the bishops, to me is the hardest job in the whole church, very little, like training, right? They're thrown into the hardest situations of people's lives, and they have to put their life I just love bishops and bishops wives, I commend you, you're amazing people and you give, give give. And even though I know sometimes, bishops misspeak, right, they just, they're just men, and they're doing the best they can. They're learning. And I know this is because of so many moms I talked to and the bishops, there's no ill intent, I know that. But there is sometimes things that are said that have done damage. I know that has happened in our home with our son. And so I think, like, parents, moms, and dads really be prayerful about, you know, the interviews your children are having at church, you know, because there is very different interpretations of like the doctrine and how we're viewing our LGBTQ saints, you know, that you felt that. And so use your personal authority and use the tools that our church has given you to protect your child and to be able to steer your children in the message of their divinity, and that they are whole and not broken? Allison Dayton  17:48   Well, yeah, as you were saying that I thought it might be a good idea just to have a conversation with the bishop beforehand, before any meetings where you could mention to them, I understand I don't want to limit what you're saying. But I would, I pray that you will pray about focusing on the love of Christ, that light and love of Christ on my child, the entire message. And I just think it's okay, to advocate for valuable messages, those messages will ring in their ears for the rest of their lives. Jenie Rae Hunter  18:29   Well, they will and because they didn't do that just as much, right? Yeah, Allison Dayton  18:33   they will be impossible because the bishop is speaking for for God, right? Jenie Rae Hunter  18:41   Yeah, he has those keys. So Allison Dayton  18:44   in all humility, you can ask a bishop to be very prayerful. Yeah, about focusing the love of Christ on the child. And you could remind the Bishop that, that your child knows about the doctrine the way it you know, and that wouldn't necessarily need a new lesson on the doctrine because they're very well aware of it. And you talk about it quite a bit in your family and in primary and young woman's and all of it. But that is, that is, that's just you there, then you're giving the bishop a breath, and a moment to really, you he knows what he needs to focus on for this child. And you're not telling him what to say you're just asking him to, to reframe it in in beautiful ways that will that will also exist in this child's head for the rest of their lives, and that can make all the difference. Jenie Rae Hunter  19:42   Yeah, I don't think you could go wrong and focusing on the love of Christ. And when you said that, I was thinking, I wish I had always done that with my son. Oh my gosh. If I could have done that, like because they're having,  Allison Dayton  20:00   All of our children, yes, I'm not sure all of my children got a real huge dose every single time I talked to him, Jenie Rae Hunter  20:09   but I that's what we're striving for. And there have been moments where, unintentionally, I know that I have said, things that Nick took, and brought him shame. And that was painful to realize. But I tell you, and I really want to be vulnerable here with you. When I let go of like, like my shame about it, that I did that costume shame, and had the conversation with him. That was really a powerful moment in our relationship. And we I, all of us, not all of us, but some of his mom say things like no empty chairs and things like that, that we've heard before our child even comes out, we have no idea like we do this from the best intentions. And it we are sometimes part of that message. And don't wait to sit down and talk and apologize. And tell them how your heart where your heart is, and what you've learned and how your heart has changed and how you have new understanding. Because that was really a powerful and beautiful moment for Nick and our andJohn and I. So you know, it's, you know better, you do better. And sometimes you just say things and you don't even know what your child is dealing with. And I know that was part of ours, and then that he came out and, and we even can remember some things. I think then they were brought back to us from him. And we're like, wow, that must have been hurtful. Right? And so sometimes we're part of that message of shame. And I know Allison, you probably weren't because you were so drained by Preston. And it's just a normal life. Allison Dayton  21:55   I was, you know, I did my fair share of I had my fair share of fear, actually, because of my brother's life. Yeah, I didn't I didn't want the same life for for a child and I did my own damage. We all do. And I didn't even need to, Jake was feeling the pain already. You know what I mean? He was doing it himself, too. Jenie Rae Hunter  22:16   I think that is such a interesting thing, what you just said, because that is like, it almost feels like and I see this when my LGBTQ clients where it's not the parents, I'm doing the actual LGBT person where they are constantly looking for, do I belong? Am I like they're looking on high alert for evidence? Are they divine? Or are they broken? And so like, You're not even so it's almost like you have to double down with them about there's nothing wrong with you, you are created in God's image, you are divine. You know, you really these messages. I know like you we hear them a lot. But these children need to hear them double, even more double than your other children. Because they really are high alert of like, Is this true? Is the things I've heard, because they're not just other than our church, they're other than our world, let's be honest. And so it's it's, it's a it's a huge message that they are internalizing. And so to really combat that, talk about it say How are you feeling about yourself? Have you prayed, I love when we're interviewing an LGBTQ member on our on our podcast and how they say what changed the game for me is when I finally prayed god of how he felt about me, yep, right. And so encourage your children to gain their because his witness God's witness to them is going to be more powerful than my witness. The bishops witness, anybody's witness, like God's witness is what is going to go to their core. And so I would suggest you be praying about that, to find out how God loves your child for all your children, but we're talking about our LGBTQ today, and and really encourage your child to pray about that. And to connect, sometimes they can't pray, say, go for a walk, ask questions, like whatever you want to go in the woods. Yes. But like, and I love all the time I say to send them I know like how much Heavenly Father loves you because I do like I've gotten it this vision of how much Heavenly Father loves and values and how much the Savior loves and values him and so I that's the message he hears a lot from me like, well, he loves you or he's worried about you or like yeah, I feel that connection with God about how much he loves his child. And that helps me parent the way I think God wants me to do for Nick. Absolutely. Allison Dayton  24:35   Okay, let me read it and then we'll leave you with that. We take away an LGBTQ child's divinity and replace it with shame when we tell them the way they were born is not part of God's plan. as mothers we assert that any message taught to our children should reassure them they are beloved children of God, and so entitled to all the blessings promised to his faithful children. Jenie Rae Hunter  24:59   That's declaration Number four, on birth right? And so just ponder these words, pray about these words and find out how as mothers and parents, you could be empowered to make a message more aligned with God's doctrine about your child. WIll you read it one more time.  Allison Dayton  25:16   Yeah, go ahead and share your thoughts on Instagram On Facebook, where others can see them and we can talk about this and just, we'd love to know what you think we're excited to hear about what you think. Jenie Rae Hunter  25:31   All right, we love you and sign up for Live, and you can come with us because that's, it's like I said, they're gonna go fast. So we want you to be with us and have you with us. Yes, right. All right, Bye!

As we do every semester, I am changing up a lot of things to help me get more done and overall have a better time. Last semester was BOMB, but I have come up three GIANT changes that should really do some amazing stuff for us by the end of the semester:1. No social media (except LinkedIn) - I have been posting very consistently on social media for YEARS. I am very thankful for the support I have gotten from it, but the time has come to change my strat a bit so I can have a different outcome.2. Blog posts each week - this is the main thing that I will be doing instead of posting on social media. I have been making secret blog posts off and on for a while, just have never made the site public. I will let you all know once it's up... a week from today! :) Posts will come out on Mondays, starting the 13th!3. All solo podcasts recorded and uploaded already - This is going to be a GAME CHANGER. I was not able to get enough interviews done to get the whole podcast schedule for Fall 2021 already done and uploaded, but this is the next best thing. This way I will be able to focus more on appearing on other podcast and recording TONS of interviews (and school of course). Time Stamps: 0:31 – No social media (except LinkedIn)2:01 – Blog posts each week5:39 -  All solo podcasts uploaded before the semester starts If you are interested, I recently rebooted my Twitch Stream and will be playing classic/indie games and juggling and talking and such. I will be going live at 5 PM MST Tues/Sat. It'd be fun to have you stop by, but no worries, I am just doing this as I think it will help me be more focused on school. My Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/tanookitoaddc My Business Email: dallin@yieldtoday.com

Boom, what's going on everyone? It's Steve Larsen, this is Sales Funnel Radio, and today I'm gonna teach you guys how to use the sales letters to go find good interns. I've spent the last four years learning from the most brilliant marketers today, and now I've left my nine to five to take the plunge and build my million dollar business. The real question is, how will I do it without VC funding or debt, completely from scratch? This podcast is here to give you the answer. Join me and follow along as I learn, apply, and share marketing strategies to grow my online business using only today's best internet sales funnels. My name is Steve Larsen and welcome to Sales Funnel Radio. What's up, guys? I'm excited for this! Okay, so it's about a week, I don't know, a week and or two ago, we were looking at all the leads coming into our funnel. Right now I've got anywhere from 500 to 1,500 opt-ins every week to see my webinar - that's where we are right now, that's where the numbers are shaking out. What's interesting is the automation of the funnel itself is selling a percentage of those people, but there's a huge percentage of people who don't actually go buy because they have one last question. They need to talk to somebody. And literally, the volume is just something I can't handle. What was interesting is, we found out, we were looking at... I went to BYU Idaho... They're not far away from here, they're like five and a half hours away from here...We just found out that they added a sales program to their majors, right. You can actually go and get an emphasis in sales now, which is awesome, super cool - first undergrad I've ever heard to go do that. So, turns out, they're having their career fair super fast, so we went to work. I opened up FunnelScripts, and I was like okay, a sale is a sale regardless if there's money involved, right? I sell somebody on a movie I wanna to go see. I sell somebody on this is where I wanna go eat. I sell somebody, right? Sales is everywhere. And honestly, if you're not getting what you want in life, it's because you're not a good salesman. It's true! I'm not talking about just for money. I'm talking about anything. It's kind of funny, I went into FunnelScripts and I opened up the short sales letter script and I started filling it out all of the little pieces to sell a student to taking an internship with me. I was like, “Hey, if we're getting 1,500 leads every single week, what can we do to get these people, if they just have one question left, how can we get them to come the rest of the way and actually purchase?" So, what we did was, we went back to college. And we went to this career fair, and I decided, how cool would it be to use some direct response. You know, like the old school direct mail kind of principles, right? I went through and I wrote a sales letter on yellow paper, right? And anyway, this is it. So, I just wanna go through and I'm just gonna read this thing to you guys so you can see how persuasive this was - because the result was amazing. The result was incredible. It was kinda funny at first to stand there. We actually brought this exact same set up that you see here if you guys are on YouTube:We got the big Sales Funnel Radio paparazzi wall and that's what we put up. We got this big banner made.We made these Capitalist Pig T-shirts - that are going to be made available to anybody soon. I'm super excited about it. People are PMing me like crazy. They say 'Capitalist Pig' on the front and its like a piggy bank and there's a dollar sign for the eyes. It says 'Capitalist Pig' and then on the back it says 'Sales Funnel Radio'. It's super cool! Anyway, a lot of people were asking for 'em. So, we figured we might as well make 'em publicly available to all of you soon. It's not gonna be like a thing we have open forever, just gonna open and close kinda stuff just 'cause I'm not really in the T-shirt biz so, kinda when time permits, I'll sell that shirt and then not. Anyway, I'm excited though. And we have an 'It's Monday Baby' shirt coming out soon. Anyway, so we were wearing the Capitalist Pig shirts I should be wearing it now, that'd be kinda cool. We had this setup, we had the high ticket sales banner here the Sales Funnel Radio thing, and the crown jewel of it all, in my opinion, was this script. And what was cool about it is like this thing, I'm selling them to take an interview. I'm selling them to not just do the internship, but I just want them to go take the interview. I'm selling the next step in the process. Get on an interview. So this is what I did... I went into FunnelScripts and literally an hour before it started, I was doing the One Funnel Away challenge stuff which, I know a lotta you guys are in... Anyway, that's over now. That first month, that's over now. I thank you guys so much for being a part of it, really appreciate it. But I was doing that...And about thirty minutes prior to this career fair starting, I opened up Funnel Scripts and I was like, "Hey I'm gonna go and I'm gonna write a sales letter to get somebody to come fill these closer positions." There's a lot of people out there that are already experts at it, but I thought it'd be kinda neat to go take some college students and do that. Which is super cool. Anyway, this is it:"Attention graduating or interning BYUI students, get a paid internship, with on-the-go training which you'll actually use after you graduate." 'Cause like the headline right there, that's it right there. Just like I would in a webinar, right? "Attention audience, attention audience," and then a headline, "Get a paid internship with on-the-job training which you'll actually use after you graduate." Holy smokes, right? What do they want? That's a promise of a paid internship with on-the-job training. And then what's the fear here? "Oh man, I'm not gonna actually use that when I graduate." No, you actually will use this if you graduate. If you know how to sell, you're gonna use that everywhere in your life, the rest of life. And then I wrote it as if it was first person button lingo. For buttons lotta times we'll use first person language. "Yes, give me Secret MLM Hacks. Yes, give me "insert product", whatever." So, I wrote it in that manner. "Yes," in quote marks: "Yes, I'm ready to learn the one skill that makes me more valuable to the marketplace. A real skill that is transferable to any profession I end up in and keep control of my income." What? Thank you, FunnelScripts! "I understand that when I act now I'll become a high-paid sales closer of the Sales Funnel Radio high-ticket closing position and get....," and here's my offer...I wrote an offer for the interns, it's an intern offer:Number one: salary plus commission - We're paying 'em like eight bucks an hour just to keep them moving, right? And then we pay commission. We're the one paying for all the leads... I'm the one serving up all the leads to 'em, so, anyway we give them 10% of whatever they close, at any price point. Right now at the recording of this, I have products anywhere from $1,000 to $3,000, and then $30,000 to $150,000 products. I'll give them 10% of whatever they close, I don't care. So, "salary plus commission." Number two: A choice of part or full time. A choice of your own hours. A chance for full-time hire. A chance to learn on the job. An amazing reward program which we have - which is really cool. "I also understand that when I act now I also get the top converting sales scripts in today's market."  - I'm just gonna write a sales script. I'm gonna use the four question close from Expert Secrets. That's what I'm gonna teach 'em on.   “Pre-qualified leads to set up for you.”"Remote work available" - I'm trying to think if I was a student again, what was super frustrating to me? Working with hours... They're my target market, right? I'm just laughing at this, and the whole reason for this entire episode is because I want you to understand it doesn't matter who you're selling or what you're selling or who you're trying to convince, sales are involved. The concept of offer creation the concept of sales letter writing is something that pays you wherever you go. I don't care what you're selling, or if there's even money involved with it. It will "pay you" whatever you want. Basically, I said they get everything for free instead of the public price of $15,000, which is what it normally would be to the public at like a two or three-day event. I'm gonna teach them one-on-one with a lot of this stuff to make sure that they're awesome closers, right? "To your professional success Stephen Larson - interview for one of the three positions now." Wait, there are three positions? Wait, there's scarcity and urgency... Right, it's the same principles throughout. Anyway, there are a few other things inside here which are pretty awesome. But it's the same principles as you would any kinda sales letter. What I did is I went through and I starting thinking through how I would, so I designed this banner the day before, and funny enough we were able to get it actually printed, which is awesome. But I just want to walk through the banner really quick here. Check this out, so I'm actually gonna unhook the camera. First time in Sales Funnel Radio history! Check this out, so it says:"Sales Funnel Radio. 200K+ downloads." - By the way, that's cool. That just happened. 200,000 downloads of Sales Funnel Radio. Thank you very much by the way. Big ol' picture, why? 'Cause I'm trying to add a little bit of authority in it and most people, they looked at the banner, they looked back at me, look at the banner, look back at me. Like, "That's you!" Like, "Yeah!" I specifically created the marketing to get an intern so that it would offend the right people and attract the right people. It's very key, so many people are apologetic in their marketing. Saying, "High-Ticket Sales" right there, big across the front, "High-Ticket Sales", right there. Guys, it's fascinating how many people that repelled. Good! Good! This thing did most of the work for us. And then I went through and I started lacing out all of the benefits: rOh, "Salary + commission", "part or full-time," "remote work," "reward program," "choose your own hours," "chance of full-time hire", "on the job training," "pre-qualified leads," right? "We just need more closers," right? That's what I say at the bottom there. I said, "Apply here. There are only four positions available." I think on the sales letter it said three, but anyway, I don't really care. I just need scarcity and urgency and need 'em to be hungry. Hunger is the thing I can never teach anybody. So I'm trying to farm out those who are hungry. Then, just like we would with a progress bar on a landing page or an application, I needed to do some kind of a progress bar. So check this out, there's already a sense of fulfillment. I'm trying to give them a dopamine hit because they've already completed step one. Right here, check this out: Step number one, go apply. Step number two, get the script, which I'm going to teach them, it's really simple. Step number three, close the lead. That's it, that's all they gotta do. At the very bottom, I added testimonials to people I've trained in the past. Super cool! "Orlando. What's up, dude? Shout out to you." He said, "My highest gratitude to Steve when I started two weeks ago, I did $30,000 at my first presentation yesterday." It's a true story, super epic. Another one from Angela Florence! "What's up? Shout out to you." Said, "I'm a quiet person, but when I went to Stephen's training I closed over 50% of my leads the first time ever trying." So I went through and I just wanted people to understand this is a real thing. So let me just secure the camera again here. Bam! There we go. What I want people to understand is if you want to do this, it's a script I'm gonna teach you. They're not cold leads, they're coming in and... Anyway, so I'm excited about this and it's been really cool. And as a result in just a few hour period that we were there, we ended up getting, I think, 24 people asking. Two of them were an obvious "Absolutely Not," so we went down to 22. And then we've been following up and closing back and I think we're gonna grab six or seven of them, which is awesome. So what we've been doing to the business now, and this is why this is making Sales Funnel Radio... If I'm looking at the funnel, and I got more leads coming in then I can handle, this is an obvious, easy position to add in the back, people just closing other people, just pulling them on in: "Hey, what's up? Hey, how's it going? Hey, hey, hey, hey." It's an obvious, very, very easy position to go fill. It's commission, and even then, eight bucks an hour. If my course is a $1,000 or $1,500 you only gotta sell one, like, a month to pay for themselves. If they can't sell one a month, I guarantee ya, I'm not keeping them. It's just how it works if they're that bad. It's not like they're cold leads. They're just following up with people who have already opted-in to get the info, right? They're literally answering the last final questions before someone buys. Anyway, so it's very hard for me to not justify doing this. So what we've been doing is we've been going in and setting up the back-end systems. So when somebody comes in and they buy, or when somebody comes in and they're like, "Yeah, I need one or few more, one or two last questions set up before I go buy." We got these back-end systems that are being set up there: We got a phone system, which is awesome. It's tracking all the stuff. We use Zoho, Zoho is the CRM that I like to use, and it's simple, it's awesome, it's powerful. That phone system updates Zoho, the contact in there, with any updates. On the  ClickFunnel side, we have an internal form for the sales agent to fill out when they're on the phone with the person, which gives the sales agent credit and then takes the sale and opens up all the marketing automation for anybody as if they bought straight off of the webinar. So super cool, with very few adjustments. I truly think this is going to double the revenue because we're gonna have people who are actually getting their questions answered. Now the one thing that I know that will kill the sale is if I educate the salesmen too much. They'll start talking their way out of the sale. Literally, talk their way out of the purchase. And so I'm being careful to just teach a script, not the product. The point for any backend sales closer is not to teach the product, it's to get the sale. It's super fun, guys, I'm literally going in and I'm using the four question close. That's right from Expert Secrets, and I will tell you firsthand that's the script that ClickFunnels uses. That's exactly what Russell's high-ticket salesmen use as well. So if you want to see what that is, by the way, you can: Number one, go look at it inside of Expert Secrets, it's toward the back. Number two, go to Affiliate Outrage, and Derek Wilson, the high-ticket closer at ClickFunnels right now - he's the man. He's using that script and if you go to Affiliate Outrage, he did a whole little mini-course for Affiliate Outrage for the community for free, just to show people a little bit more of what he does, and he walks through the script. So that's what we're doing. That's exactly what I've been plugging in and it's been a whole bunch of fun. It's interesting what's happening to the business because of the possible new revenue. So we've been going in and we're creating these new things in the back and in the front to capture more leads, capture more phone numbers, make it so all the systems are talking to each other and it's just full automation and super seamless. It's exciting. It's really fun. So I thought it'd be kinda cool just to share with you what happened and it was honestly on a whim. I went and I slept on a kitchen floor of my brother. He lives over there on campus. Colton went and found an old relation over there as well. Right, an old friend and it was super haphazard. We just showed up and we just did it and it was super fun. And we got a bunch of people asking.I was shocked at the level of talent. Man, when I was in college, not long ago, there were not many people trying to do sales, and it was interesting to see how many people had already, not just wanted it, but there were a few students who knew they wanted it so bad they dropped all their classes and they were just they were just trying to find someone's product to sell. I was like, what the heck. And there's a lot of them. I thought we'd get like two or three rock stars. It was actually the opposite. There was two or three that weren't rock stars and I was shocked about that.So don't be afraid to grab some interns. Don't be afraid to add in a closer system, phone system at the end of your funnels. A lot of times, all you gotta do is change the selling environment, meaning take them off the Internet, close them right there and then.onestly, a lot of times I've seen people do that, they'll double their company. I've seen a lot of inner-circle members do that. Adding in a high-ticket thing or adding in a phone person to close leads. Does that make sense? So anyway, that's all I'm trying to help you guys understand. As far as Sales Funnels go, that's the next place that my funnel is reaching out. The funnel, we're extending it to a phone closer scenario. That's how we found the closers. Those are the script we're using. Those are the systems we're using to plug in back and forth. It's been really epic and super excited about it. So I will keep you updated on how it's going, but we've got to college interns now. How freaking cool is this? So with the content team, with the rest of us all in there, it has the potential to be like 15 people working on this thing now, it's like freaking awesome. Like legit, I should probably wear shoes sometimes.Alright, thanks so much, if you enjoyed this episode, please go share it, please like it, please subscribe if you haven't. Thanks so much for all you guys who came to OfferMind as well, that is definitely something I'll do again in the future, so you guys can figure out exactly the sales message and offer that the market is asking you to sell them. Hey, there's more marketing resources than there is sand in the sea, am I right? Okay, maybe not, but there's a lot. How do you know if you're paying for good ones? Recently I went to my business bank statement, and I counted 51 Internet tools and resources that I use to run my business every day and actually keep my team size small. If you want to see the list, I actually filmed an individual video teaching you why I use each tool and the strategy behind it, and then I dropped the link straight to the source right below it. If you want to see the list and see what you can use yourself, go to bestmarketingresources.com. That's bestmarketingresources.com.

...Many of the things we value in our religion will not be enough to save us.  Personal testimony, for example, is not enough, a temple recommend won’t do it, visions and ministering of angels, personal healings, a brilliant grasp of the gospel, a righteous lineage; all of the ordinances put together will not do it; the celebrity and universal good opinion of your friends and colleagues in the Church will not do it.  Each of these is necessary, but without reaching out to the "least of these, my brethren" they don’t qualify us.Listen or Read at BYUI devotional site.
