The CrimeLapse True Crime podcast is an exceptional podcast that captivates listeners with its straightforward storytelling and attention to detail. From the very first episode, it becomes apparent that this show is dedicated to providing a gripping true crime experience without wasting time on unnecessary chatter. The hosts, Eileen and Charlie, have a talent for telling the stories in a concise yet captivating manner, keeping the audience riveted from start to finish.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is the meticulous research that goes into each episode. It is clear that Eileen and Charlie put in a significant amount of effort to gather all the necessary information about each case they cover. This attention to detail allows them to present the listeners with a well-rounded and comprehensive picture of the crimes, ensuring that nothing important is left out. Additionally, their respectful and compassionate approach towards the victims and their families adds an extra layer of depth and humanity to each story.

Another highlight of CrimeLapse True Crime is its commitment to staying focused on the story at hand. Unlike some true crime podcasts that veer off into tangents or engage in excessive banter, Eileen and Charlie maintain a streamlined narrative throughout each episode. This allows for a more immersive listening experience as there are no distractions or unnecessary digressions. The hosts get right to the point while still providing all the necessary context and information.

While there are many positives about this podcast, some listeners have pointed out minor issues they encountered while listening. In one particular episode, there was difficulty understanding one person's speech which some found comical rather than distracting from the overall experience. However, these instances are few and far between, and do not significantly impact the quality of the show.

In conclusion, CrimeLapse True Crime is an outstanding podcast that stands out among others in its genre. With its well-researched cases, engaging storytelling style, and respectful approach towards victims, it consistently delivers compelling episodes that leave listeners eagerly anticipating the next installment. Fans of true crime will undoubtedly appreciate the dedication and talent that Eileen and Charlie bring to each episode, making CrimeLapse True Crime a must-listen for any true crime enthusiast.

Jacob Landin was born on July 1st 1986. In the couple months before his death he would suffer a serious skull fracture and subdural hematoma that required two days of hospitalization. This was blamed on younger brother Eric being jealous, it seems that most likely there was a darker explanation. That Jacob's mother's boyfriend John (not his real name) was responsible for abusing Jacob. On March 9th, 1987 when Jacob was only 9months old he was rushed to the hospital with what would be his second head injury in a matter of weeks. Jacob passed away in the early morning hours of March 10th. The injuries suffered by baby Jacob don't line up with any of John's versions of events. John goes on to confess, but in a twist of fate there is no record of this confession. He would in the years to follow go on to physically abuse his wife Brenda, sexually abuse young Eric and emotionally abuse and isolate them both. This is the heartbreaking story of the death of baby Jacob Landin and Eric Carter-Landin's harrowing quest for justice. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/riddle-me-that-true-crime/id1522402746
