The magic of the cup was in full flow as Man United and Arsenal rolled back the years to give us a dramatic game that had everything from penalties to red cards to dives and more.Kai Havertz bad run of form continues and he has now potentially cost Arsenal two trophies in one week, as the pressure begins to pile on Mikel Arteta. As Harry Maguire walked off to an ovation reserved for footballing legends, we ask what is it about Man United that makes a result or a moment that means nothing in the grand scheme of things, become must see TV.We were robbed of one magic moment and gifted a much more entertaining one as 4 time Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson denied young Tyler Young the once in a lifetime chance to play against his father Ashley Young.Tottenham paid a visit to Non League Tamworth and struggled for 90 minutes against a team of genuine part timers. We also did a deep dive into potentially one of the least likable pages in internet history.Support the showWant to support us and also get some sweet bonus exclusive pods? Joe Cole and Ashley Cole are back with episode 2 of Football's Greatest: Could It Be Magic? and this time they're focussing on one of the best weekends in the football calendar - the FA Cup 3rd round. Former Tottenham, Manchester United, West Ham and England striker Teddy Sheringham is with them and reflects on his win with United in 1999 and the Hammers' heartbreaking defeat on penalties to Liverpool in 2006. He also reveals why he's backing Ange Postecoglu's management at Spurs and what Manchester United must do to return to the top of English football. Jas Singh, captain of non-league Tamworth, joins them to discuss the secret weapons that could help them turn over Tottenham and Accrington Stanley manager John Doolan ponders how his side will try and stop Mo Salah at Anfield. And with Ashley Young set to play against his son Tyler when Everton face Peterborough, Joe, Ash and Teddy debate what they would do if their kid was through on goal and they were the last man: do you let him score or do you take him out?

The OG ATP lineup of James and Alex is here this week following Everton's 1-1 draw at Goodison Park vs Marco Silva's visiting Fulham, to take EFC to 5 matches unbeaten. Despite an enormously frustrating 90+ minutes where Everton were comfortably 2nd best, Michael Keane at striker was a genius tactical change from our not at all stubborn manager... KIDDING! (kind of) Beto's late substitution paid huge dividends as he found himself on the end of a great cross from Ashley Young, and seized the chance with emphasis and ensuing emotion. As usual, we break down the timeline of events and discuss the major moments with some help from our loyal and much appreciated listeners (thank you!). They also look at whether DCL and Harrison make way for Lindstrom and Beto despite the run of positive results. Kelly Cates presents Super Sunday from Old Trafford and is joined by Jamie Redknapp, Darren Bent and Ashley Young who watched Tottenham comprehensively beat Manchester United 3-0. Gary Neville watched from the gantry as Spurs impressed and outclassed their opponents from the very start but United aided them with a lacklustre performance. Neville labelled the display as a ‘shocking and sobering day' for the club. Redknapp agreed and believes Man United's progression is going backwards, going on to say that ‘they're at rock bottom at the moment'.The hosts' task was made even more difficult when Bruno Fernandes was dismissed for a high challenge on James Maddison minutes before half-time. The Red Devils captain spoke after the match and felt the tackle did not warrant a red card by referee Chris Kavanagh but admitted that he had let his teammates down. There is also reaction from goalscorer Brennan Johnson and player of the match Micky van de Ven, as well as both managers. Ange Postecoglou hailed his players' performance, saying that they were a ‘joy to watch'. In contrast, Erik ten Hag conceded that Tottenham were the dominant side and his team were poor in possession. The United manager also avoided questions on whether the club is moving forward under his leadership, saying that 'it is not the time to talk about progression after such a defeat'.
I don't know why this brutal and gruesome crime hasn't received more attention. Ashley Young was a beautiful young woman entering a new chapter of her life. Unfortunately for her, she was in the midst of a monster named Jared Chance. They were just starting to see each other as more than friends when they went out for a drink one night. Ashley was never seen again. Her tenacious mother and step mother go on a two woman crusade to find Ashley and it doesn't take them long to find her...but what has been done to her is unthinkable.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/dark-hearts-with-stacy-lee-podcast/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
Send us a textIn November of 2018, 31 year-old Ashley Young was excited to begin a new chapter in her life. She had just broken up with her boyfriend of 7 years, and she was moving into her own apartment. The night before Ashley signed her new lease she decided to meet an old friend for some drinks. The next morning, Ashley's mother would be frantically trying to find her daughter. Ashley's family and friends would desperately search for her in a case that will have your head spinning. Where was Ashley? Will her family ever get the answers they so truly deserve? A story that proves parents will stop at nothing to help their children. And, that might not always be a good thing. "I have zero expectations. I'm ranked 60-plus. But I think I have a good shot at being top 10 in the world, and maybe even having a shot at a medal. Those were my own expectations and my own pressure. Good expectations, and good pressure. It started as, 'We made it, we checked the box, we got to the Olympics!' But it quickly transitioned to, 'Oh, let's see what we can do. Let's swing for the fences.' When Clayton Young lined up at the start of the Paris Olympic Marathon, he had thousands of fans cheering him on. Sure, he had his friends and family — including his wife, Ashley — in Paris. But because Clayton and Ashley so meticulously documented the build from the Trials to Paris in a docu-series, they gained legions of new fans and followers along the way. Clayton earned his spot on Team USA by finishing second at the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials in February, just seconds behind teammate Conner Mantz. In Paris, they did it again, finishing seconds apart at the Olympic Marathon on that grueling, hilly, scenic tour of the city. Conner finished eighth, and Clayton ran 2:08:44, landing him in ninth place. And somewhere around those hills, we saw the mid-race low five between teammates, garnering a collective "awwww" from the viewers at home. An even cuter duo than the training partners: Clayton and his wife Ashley, who is known on Instagram as "Feed Your Runner," and is tasked with fueling Clayton's 120-mile training weeks. In this episode, we get to hear about how Ashley and Clayton support each other, and about what it looks like to be in a partnership where you're chasing big dreams and making choices and sacrifices in pursuit of greatness. Clayton and Ashley have two daughters, they live in Utah, and their next big [family] trip will be to New York this fall, when Clayton will race his third marathon of the year at the TCS New York City Marathon. Toffees worldwide were hoping to see the beginning of Goodison's final season begin on a bright note. Instead, we were treated to all-too familiar reminders of Everton's shortcomings and bad fortunes of late, as EFC fell 3-0 to the visiting Brighton & Hove Albion. James and Ryan break down the season opener: from lineup selections, to the questionably overturned VAR decision, to the Ashley Young straight red, and more. They also lament the over-the-top reactions from some of the fanbase who seem to be in rare form for the opening weekend. It also would not be a true ATP episode if the DESPERATE NEED OF A RIGHT BACK was not discussed at length. The show wraps with the guys trying to guess when Sean Dyche might start to incorporate the new signings into the team. We appreciate all our listeners and contributors as we head into our 6th season covering the Toffees, and we hope you enjoy the episode! In this episode, we dive deep into Everton's squad performance this season, highlighting standout moments, unexpected breakthroughs, and areas that urgently need attention. We scrutinize the formidable defensive partnership of James Tarkovsky and Jarrad Branthwaite, alongside the persistent struggles at the right-back position. Our discussion also dissects the potential of Amadou Onana and whether his underwhelming performances can be blamed on his own limitations or Sean Dyche's tactical system. We'll explore the ups and downs of individual players like Dominic Calvert-Lewin and James Garner, as well as the noteworthy improvement of Mykolenko under Dyche's guidance. Nathan Patterson's limited playtime and the utilization of Onana raise some eyebrows, but the team's overall effort, especially in light of behind-the-scenes challenges, receives well-deserved praise. On the transfer front, we evaluate potential reinforcements such as Dwight McNeil, Jack Harrison, and Ashley Young, and discuss strategies to strengthen the squad without breaking the bank. What financial sacrifices might Everton need to make to move forward? We tackle the complex issue of potentially selling key players like Pickford, Branthwaite, Onana, and Calvert-Lewin to reinvest in the squad. With a focus on strategic decision-making and financial implications, we debate the merits of keeping or selling these assets. Finally, we assess the potential return of Jack Harrison and the critical need for squad depth, wrapping up with cautious optimism about unexpected signings that could boost Everton's prospects. Don't miss this comprehensive analysis of Everton's season and future prospects.

Full house on the podcast for this, slightly extracurricular, Wednesday recording. Unfortunately, having booked Jacob Whitehead at half-time during the Everton match, he failed to respond to seventeen messages asking him to stand down.Yes, it fell flat in the end, and Paul Dummett's clumsy challenge on Ashley Young with the ball passing harmlessly overhead was a real frustration. But, we're actually in a decent frame of mind after Newcastle dominated the early stages, got a terrific goal through Barnes and Isak, and actually looked "in control" for the first time in ages.Injuries continue to be the overwhelming problem and, with a remarkably strong XI stuck on the sidelines, it's anyone's guess what will happen at Craven Cottage against an equally unpredictable Fulham.
