Ok, so we're not actually against Kevin Smith. We love him. We will take any opportunity to make fun of him whenever we can. Why? Because he's famous, made a ton of money doing exactly what he loves, and invited all his friends to join him on his journey to be rich and famous. So, we're kind of jealous. So that's why we say, TURN YOUR HAT AROUND KEVIN SMITH, YOU LOOK LIKE A COMPLETE NERD!  Ok, we're bullies, but he knows he has it good. Ok, rant over. I don't know what happened on the show this episode since we taped it weeks ago. I know we make fun of Kevin Smith, I heard us cracking jokes about his interview with the cast of Bill and Ted's Face the Music. Which I thought was funny. The reason why we haven't had a show was because of NM Comic Expo and we're also putting together a big variety show at Revel, and trying to buy a new house. So, we're a bit frazzled. Will any of our fans want to help us upload our show to the web weekly? Do you know Wordpress? Would you volunteer to help us? We need a team of Directors Cut Fans, to help us! Let us know!  

This week we saw the preview of the Meow Wolf Denver Convergence Station. Is the new Meow Wolf something you should spend your hard-earned money to visit? We let you know! We also know Matt Stone and Trey Parker are fixing up Casa Bonita, should you save your money for that place instead? We LET YOU KNOW! Have you ever dreamed of going on vacation with a couple of strippers? Well, Dan lets you know what it's like, (Spoiler alert: it's no different than going on a vacation with really cool people that you love). Tune in this week to The Directors Cut! The greatest show that's about Dan & Steph taking random vacations and chatting about it.

Plus we chat about the movie The Ringmaster a documentary about a man who makes onion rings, or a documentary about a documentary about a man who makes onion rings. Yes, we know there's a redundancy in that last statement, but that's exactly what it's about. We also talk about the Takashi 69 documentary and more!    

This week we review the Netflix movie Slight, plus we tell you the reason why you should hide Shad in your coworker's desks. Plus, what movie in the Disney library should be remade and remastered. Plus we find out what movie is the greatest movie of all time, and it's no longer "Paddington 2."

This week we give you step-by-step instructions on how to make a shepherd's pie. That's about it. It takes a few attempts to get it right. Despite the immense knowledge Steph has. First, we had Writer, Director, and Lead Actress Mindy Bledsoe join us to talk about her new movie "The In-Between," which releases on Tuesday, May 18th, On-Demand everywhere! Then we have Nasty Nate Harris, a prominent motion picture stunt man, strip club bouncer (essentially the guy who pushes chairs in and makes them look nice), jujitsu fighter/gym owner, and friend, talk about his role in the Zach Snyder movie Army of the Dead (2021). Plus, we review a couple of movies, play with puppets, and break the rules. We are Directors Cut Radio, the best damn radio show about movies out there. Yeah, we said it.

The slides at Meow Wolf's Omega Mart might be dangerous. Steph got a ton of bruises and scrapes on her butt. We chat about how they're artists and not playground builders. So stay safe! We also talk about Land Before Time, Mitchell's vs. the Machines, and The New Mutants.

This week we found a guy who created a TikTok where he would verbally abuse homeless people and do racist content here in Albuquerque. We thought it was shit. Within hours we had two local TV stations report on it, and USPS begin to start an investigation of their own. Sorry dude, you're an idiot.  

This week we talk about a Mae West Documentary and get insight into Zack Snyder's Justice League. We can also call it. Zach Znyder's Zustice Zeague, ok no we don't but would you put it passed us? Plus, Steph has a Brazillian wax appointment and we check in with her about how it's going.  Plus we peddle burritos, come up with super scams and wear pants... mostly. I've decided these captions will be my diary. So when I die, someone will read this and probably still not care! So thanks for your time, this week was shitty. Lots of stress, heartbreak, and I'm feeling unsure what I'm going to do in my future. I had a job interview, which I think went well, then just after, I got yelled at for not giving enough space. So, today, I absolutely hate myself, and my life, so that's where I am. Thanks, shitty Thanksgiving 2020, Dan.

Little did we know, many years ago the brilliant minds in broadway figured out the world's obsession with felines and made a hit play out of it. Andrew Lloyd Weber penned the music based on T.S. Elliott's short stories and the rest was history. I bet you can still remember the tacky shirts emblazed the Cats' logo worn by those socially awkward kids in high school who went to church regularly and took chorus as an elective by choice. Since the broadway musical cats was one of the first destination musicals for Broadway, Hollywood did what Hollywood had to do, they had to cash in on the Cat's phenomenon and produce a feature film with the likes of Taylor Swift, James Corden, Jennifer Hudson, Rebel Wilson, Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, Idris Elba, and many more. Despite the big names, this movie flopped harder than a chubby man losing his footing at the edge of the taller diving board at your local community pool. This movie was so bad, a rumor is swirling that they had to recut the movie after the initial release to remove CGI buttholes from the characters so they wouldn't tarnish the names of these worshiped actors. Today we review Cats and talk about the travesty that was broadway on the silver screen.
