The How She Made It podcast is an incredible resource for anyone looking to gain inspiration and advice in the media industry. As a young woman starting out in this field, I find that this podcast does an exceptional job at conveying relevant information and relatable stories from successful women in various fields. The guests featured on each episode share their goals, inspirations, struggles, skills, and advice, providing valuable insights on how they made it to where they are today. It's truly inspiring to hear about the obstacles and trials these women have faced throughout their careers, as it helps me feel more prepared and secure in my own journey.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the diversity of women featured. Each guest comes from a different field within the media industry, offering a wide range of perspectives and experiences. Whether they are early in their career or established professionals, there is something to learn from each guest's story. Additionally, the podcast tackles topics such as career pivots and dealing with challenges as a woman in the industry, making it incredibly relatable for listeners.
However, one potential drawback of this podcast is that it doesn't provide much specific advice on how to get started in the media industry or how to get hired. While it offers valuable insights into the experiences of successful women, some listeners may be looking for more practical tips on breaking into the industry or advancing their careers. It would be beneficial to include episodes or segments dedicated to discussing strategies for getting one's foot in the door and securing job opportunities.
In conclusion, The How She Made It podcast is a must-listen for anyone interested in pursuing a career in media. With its informative and relatable content, it provides valuable guidance and inspiration for young women like myself who are navigating their way through this industry. While there could be room for improvement by including more practical advice on job searching and entry-level opportunities, overall it remains an excellent resource that I highly recommend to others.
