The ARC assists Jewish immigrants, or olim, with integration into Israeli society through temporary housing, Hebrew classes, job training, community activities and basic aid such as food and clothing distribution. Under Malespin's leadership, the center transformed a former hotel into a campus for new immigrants and international volunteers after a multimillion-dollar renovation project in partnership with the Jewish Agency. The organization also hosts volunteers from abroad who participate in service projects in the Galilee and train as “ambassadors for Israel” upon returning home, fostering ties between Israel and supportive global communities. One week after the Channukah massacre at Bondi Beach in Australia, which left 15 innocent civilians killed, including a 10 year old girl named Matilda, and Chabad Rabbi, Eli Schlanger, and over 40 people injured, Alan Skorski interviewed Robert Gregory, CEO of the Australian Jewish Association. There were no punches pulled during the interview as Gregory put the blame squarely on the shoulders of Australian PM, Tony Albanese. "His apologies and insincere condolences are empty and too late!" Ever since the Hamas slaughter of over 1200 people in Israel on October 7, 2023, Islamist-inspired violent antisemitism has skyrocketed, while the government turned a blind eye. It was just under a year ago that we did a show about violent antisemitism in Australia that included: — A trailer filled with explosives and a list of Jewish targets discovered on Sydney's outskirts — Firebombing of a Melbourne synagogue, with one person hurt. Defacement of another with Nazi symbols and pro-Palestine graffiti — A Jewish childcare center set on fire — Three Jewish businesses torched — The former home of a prominent Jewish leader sprayed with graffiti — Cars defaced and windows smashed in areas where Jews live During the interview, Skorski and Gregory talked about reports from Sky News Australia giving the history of radical Islamist terrorism taking place in Australia, as the government made it policy to keep appeasing them. Even before October 7, Australia was seen as a welcoming country to people who came from dangerous countries with very anti-western values: On December 15, 2014, Man Monis, an Iranian refugee, took hostages at the Lindt chocolate café, killing 2. On June 5, 2017, Yacqub Khayre, a Somalian refugee, murdered a receptionist and held hostages at the Buckingham International Serviced apartments. And following October 7, 2023, The government issued visas to 3000 refugees from Gaza, and was welcomed at the airport by Home Affairs Minister, Tony Burke. "For too long," said Gregory, "the government of Tony Albanese ignored the warning signs and ignored the pleas from the Jewish community about the threats they were facing.” Like in America, under the Biden Administration, the leftist Australian government constantly tried to draw parallels between antisemitism and Islamophobia, even creating a government agency to combat both. To date, there are no examples of anti-Muslim violence having occurred in Australia. A number of Parliamentarians from the past and present have spoken out forcefully about the dangers of Islamist-inspired violent antisemitism, which was welcomed by the Jewish community. In a powerful interview with Jewish advocate Alan Skorski, Australian broadcaster Erin Molan renewed her call for the global release of unedited Hamas body-cam and GoPro footage from the October 7, 2023, massacre, saying the world must be forced to witness the “celebratory joy” terrorists displayed while committing rape, murder, and mutilation. Molan, former Sky News Australia anchor and current host of The Erin Molan Show, visited the sites of the Nova music festival slaughter and ravaged kibbutzim last year. She told Skorski that what disturbed her most was not only the brutality itself, but the “reveling” and “celebration” captured on video by the Hamas terrorists as they burned babies alive, decapitated elderly residents, and paraded mutilated bodies. “These weren't just acts of murder,” Molan said. “They were laughing. They were proud. They were filming it like it was the greatest day of their lives.” The Australian broadcaster has emerged as one of the most outspoken non-Jewish voices against antisemitism and pro-Hamas apologism in the West. A year ago, she released a widely viewed video condemning the “moral decline” of Western feminists who remained silent—or worse, marched in solidarity with Hamas—after verified reports of systematic sexual violence against Israeli women and girls. Molan singled out conservative commentators Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson, accusing them of “Israel-bashing for clicks” and abandoning moral clarity in favor of contrarian outrage. She also excoriated her fellow Australians who stayed silent when pro-Hamas demonstrators gathered outside the Sydney Opera House days after the massacre chanting “Gas the Jews” and “Death to the Jews.” When Skorski asked whether Israel made a public-relations mistake by withholding the most graphic October 7 footage out of respect for victims' families, Molan said the majority of bereaved families she met personally told her they would have supported releasing the material if it could wake up the world. “Most of the families I spoke with said, ‘Show it. Jeff Lax, a CUNY law professor and founder of SAFE CAMPUS, said former Fox News host Tucker Carlson has crossed into “dangerous antisemitic territory,” following Carlson's widely criticized interview with far-right activist Nick Fuentes, an avowed Hitler admirer, yimakh shemo ve'zikhro, and Holocaust denier. In a detailed discussion with VINnews contributor Alan Skorski, Lax said Carlson's recent commentary and guest choices reflect a disturbing pattern. “There were warning signs early on,” Lax said, “but after the Fuentes interview and the repeated smears against Israel and Jewish conservatives, it's clear what direction he's taken.” Fuentes appeared on Carlson's digital platform in October 2025, where he was given extended, largely unchallenged time to promote conspiratorial claims about Israel and its supporters. Carlson at times echoed similar themes, particularly in criticizing Israel's military actions in Gaza. Carlson told viewers that “you have to judge people on their behavior, not on their blood,” before accusing Israeli leaders of suggesting Palestinians are “stained from birth.” Fuentes, in the same interview, claimed Israel views all Palestinians as inherently “guilty.” The backlash intensified as Carlson labeled Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu an “enemy of Western civilization” and compared forms of Zionism to Nazism, saying: “Why are the Nazis bad? In a recent interview with podcast host Alan Skorski, historian and author Uri Kaufman discussed his forthcoming book, American Intifada: Israel, the Gaza War, and the New Antisemitism, arguing that progressive support for Hamas following the October 7, 2023, massacre stems from cognitive dissonance and a racialized worldview that casts Israelis as “white oppressors” and Palestinians as “people of color.” Kaufman, whose previous work on the Yom Kippur War was named a top history book by the Financial Times, pointed to former President Barack Obama's post-October 7 comments as a prime example. Obama stated that “nobody's hands are clean” in the conflict and described the situation for Palestinians as “unbearable,” partly attributing it to Israel's “occupation.” “There was no occupation,” Kaufman said, noting Israel's full withdrawal from Gaza in 2005 under Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, including the removal of all settlements and even the exhumation of Jewish graves. He called Obama's reference to an ongoing occupation factually incorrect and not merely an instance of cognitive dissonance, but a deliberate distortion. Cognitive dissonance, Kaufman explained, occurs when individuals alter facts to preserve deeply held beliefs rather than adjust those beliefs. For many progressives, he argued, an obsession with race leads them to view Gazans as oppressed people of color and Israeli Jews — regardless of the country's ethnic diversity — as privileged whites. This framework, he said, allows supporters to justify calls for humanitarian aid to Hamas-ruled Gaza even after the group's October 7 attack killed 1,200 people, involved widespread rape and the burning of infants, and resulted in 250 hostages being taken. “Imagine if white supremacists controlled Gaza and committed the same atrocities against Black Israelis,” Kaufman posed hypothetically. “No one on the left would demand aid for them. But because Palestinians are seen as people of color, the same rules don't apply.” Kaufman also addressed Israel's intelligence failure leading to October 7, attributing it to the “Conceptzia” — a prevailing assumption that Hamas would never risk its lucrative arrangements with Israel by launching a full-scale attack. Prior to the massacre, he noted, Israel supplied Gaza with massive amounts of aid: in 2022 alone, 5.7 billion gallons of water, two-thirds of its electricity, all of its fuel, 67,000 truckloads of goods, and work permits for 17,000 Gazans. “Hamas was willing to sacrifice everything for jihad,” Kaufman said. “Israel had no Plan B because it never imagined an enemy would choose national suicide over survival.” On shifting global attitudes, Kaufman described a “moral collapse” in Western Europe and parts of the English-speaking world, including Canada, Australia, France and the United Kingdom. Laurie Cardoza-Moore, a prominent Christian Zionist leader ranked No. 2 on the Jerusalem Post's list of top 10 leading Christian Zionists, has resigned from her position at the Heritage Foundation after clashing with its president over the organization's refusal to cut ties with Tucker Carlson. Cardoza-Moore, founder and president of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations and host of “Focus on Israel,” stepped down from her role on Heritage's task force to combat antisemitism. The move followed Heritage President Kevin Roberts' decision not to sever relations with Carlson after the former Fox News host interviewed Nick Fuentes, a self-described Hitler admirer. During the interview, Cardoza-Moore expressed frustration with Carlson's pattern of platforming critics of Israel and alleged antisemites since leaving Fox News. She cited his interview with Bethlehem Pastor Munther Isaac, whom she called a “fraud,” during which Isaac claimed Israel is “occupying Palestinian land.” Cardoza-Moore said she confronted Carlson directly after the interview, asking why he failed to challenge Isaac's statement. “You're a Christian, you've read your Bible, haven't you?” she recalled telling him. “You're supposed to be educated and informed.” According to Cardoza-Moore, Carlson dismissed the historical inaccuracy as unimportant. She also criticized Vice President JD Vance for failing to defend the U.S.-Israel relationship during a recent speech at a Turning Point USA event at the University of Mississippi. Vance, a recent convert to Catholicism, did not highlight Israel's contributions to science, medicine, green energy, military intelligence or high-tech innovation, she said. When asked about theological differences between Jews and Christians, Vance allowed questions with “antisemitic undertones” to go unanswered, Cardoza-Moore added. Citing the Second Vatican Council's Nostra Aetate, which declares antisemitism incompatible with Christian teaching, she accused Vance of misunderstanding biblical principles. Cardoza-Moore warned that America is approaching a “new war against the Jews,” drawing parallels to 1930s Germany. She invoked Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the Christian theologian who broke from the Lutheran Church as it aligned with the Nazis and preached against them even as they sat in his congregation. “We are at the doorstep of the same situation,” she said.
