Every Barbarian needs a temple, and I say it should be a temple of steel. Listen to find out what I mean. Required Pieces 1.     Power rack-HulkFit Power Rack = $300 2.     Barbell- rogue ohio power bar = $300 3.     Weights- CAP 2" Weight plates = 2x45, 4x10, 4x5, 6x2.5 all for $225 4.     Flat bench- flat bench = $50 5.     Weight belt- weight belt = $50 Nice to Have 1.     Log- log = $200 to $300 2.     Bumper plates- Hulkfit bumper plates = need 2 45's, $75 per 45 3.     Cardio equipment- rowing, sled, heavy bag- rowing machine= $375, Everlast freestanding bag = $140, I built my own sled, but this one should work- weight sled 4.     Dumb bells- plate loaded dumbbells = $50, good for 300 lbs per hand 5.     Elbow and knee sleeves, wrist wraps- Knee sleeves with bag = $60, elbow and wrist = $50 6.     Mobility bands- bands= $25 My Personal Recommendations 1.     Husafell Stone- This is pretty specific and I only recommend it if you want to do strongman type stuff, otherwise just use a sang bag for the same thing. I spent 50 bucks on some masonary blades for my grinder and cut this myself from a big rock I got in the mountains. If you don't have a big rock around, then you can usually find a place that sells stone and such as decoration. Many of these places can even cut it for you. 2.     Macebell- macebell= $47. This is a cool one. Works for cardio and light weight training, easy to travel with, and you get to beat the hell out of stuff with it. It is a legitimate tool that can be used as a weapon. 3.     Trap bar- can be used for frame carries and deadlifts. The one I have I would not recommend, gonna have to buy a new one soon as it keeps bending. 4.     Farmers Walk Handles- Farmers Walk Handles = $60- a great grip and endurance exercise, and these handles have worked really well for me at a low cost. Have had over 200lbs per hand on these with no problems. 5.     Old tire- these are used to drop bars on, hit with the mace, and if you can get a tractor size one then you can do tire flips. Mine are just old car tires. Used tire shops will often give you tires that are too worn out to sell, as it keeps them from having to pay to dispose of them. 6.     Sand bag- I started with a cheap amazon one and blew it out quickly, so now I use a surplus military sea bag. There are new ones available online, but I cannot attest to their quality. 7.     Ketllebell- I found a 35 pounder on sale at a local store. I don't use these often, but it is a good tool for when you travel. I paid 35 bucks for it, but I would expect to pay twice that normally. 8.     Atlas stone- don't get one of these right away if you are going to get one. Most people stone about half of their deadlift, maybe a little less. If you get the plate loadable ones, they are crazy expensive, and if you want a size range then they take up a lot of room. I use a sandbag in my own home gym due to space, but as I upgrade in space I will add the stones back in. Stone molds range about $120 dollars per each size stone you want to make. 9.     T bar attachment- T Bar Attachment = $25 – used for standing rows, viking presses, and many other movements. A great attachment if you have the space. 10.  Adjustable bench- adjustable bench- the one I bought is currently unavailable, but this one isn't super important. I only use it for incline benches really, so its low on the list. Plan to spend a couple hundred bucks if you want one.
