Most of these countries are low interest rate paying cash machines, thought of as elegant, solid, and prime, only because the U.S.A. allows them to be. The Tariffs being charged to them, while bringing in $BILLIONS to us, still allows most of them to have a significant trade surplus, though much smaller, with our beautiful, formerly abused Country. In other words, I have been very nice, kind, and gentle to countries all over the World. With a mere flip of the pen, $BILLIONS more would come into the U.S.A., and these countries would have to go back to making money the old fashioned way, not on the back of America. I hope they all appreciate, although many don't, what our great Country has done for them. The Fed should substantially lower interest rates, NOW! Tariffs have made America strong and powerful again, far stronger and more powerful than any other Nation. Commensurate with this strength, both financial and otherwise, WE SHOULD BE PAYING LOWER INTEREST RATES THAN ANY OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP https://twitter.com/JoeLang51440671/status/2016559031574311138?s=20 https://twitter.com/KobeissiLetter/status/2016890828925313192?s=20 TRIPLED since Q4 2019, driven by aggressive purchases by central banks and rising prices. Over this period, central banks have added ~4,500 tonnes of gold, including unreported purchases. At the same time, foreign Treasury holdings have remained unchanged. Gold is redefining the global monetary system. Central banks maintain FX reserves—typically a mix of currencies, bonds, and assets like gold—to stabilize their currencies, manage liquidity, and hedge against economic shocks. U.S. Treasuries have long been the go-to asset because they’re considered ultra-safe, highly liquid, and backed by the world’s dominant reserve currency (the U.S. dollar, which still accounts for about 57% of global reserves). Gold, on the other hand, is a “neutral” asset: it’s not tied to any single government’s policies, can’t be printed at will, and serves as a hedge against inflation, currency debasement, and geopolitical risks. This crossover isn’t just a blip—it’s a structural change driven by several factors: Key Driver Explanation Impact Geopolitical Tensions and Sanctions Events like the Russia-Ukraine war (leading to frozen Russian assets) and U.S. actions (e.g., tariffs, interventions in Venezuela) have eroded trust in dollar-denominated assets. Countries fear their reserves could be seized or devalued overnight. theguardian.com Accelerates “de-dollarization” efforts, especially among BRICS nations (e.g., China, Russia, India), which now buy gold at 3–5 times pre-2022 levels, averaging 60 tons per month. finance.yahoo.com Gold’s share in reserves has doubled to over 25% in the past decade. newsmax.com Rising Gold Prices and Diversification Gold’s price surge (up 70% in 2025 alone) mechanically boosts its reserve value, but central banks are actively adding to holdings rather than selling Treasuries outright. mining.com This reflects a pivot away from U.S. debt amid concerns over America’s $35+ trillion national debt, persistent inflation, and fiscal policies under the Trump administration. fundssociety.com Gold is now the second-largest reserve asset after the dollar (overtaking the euro in 2024), signaling a re-regionalization of global finance where gold absorbs outflows from U.S. bonds. lfde.com The gold and U.S. debt markets are similarly sized (~$25–30 trillion each), making this shift feasible without massive disruptions. Central Bank Strategy Emerging market central banks (e.g., People’s Bank of China, Central Bank of Russia) are prioritizing gold for stability in a multipolar world, while developed banks hold steady. americanhartfordgold.com Net purchases hit 1,000+ tonnes in 2025, with forecasts for similar levels in 2026. gold.org Could push gold prices higher—analysts at Goldman Sachs see $5,400/oz by end-2026, while extreme scenarios (full USD reserve loss) speculate $39,000–$184,000/oz if gold backs global money supply. vaneck.com This isn’t about ditching the dollar entirely but reducing over-reliance. If trends continue, it could lead to sustained gold demand, higher prices, and a more fragmented international financial landscape. What makes a family member turn killer? Three active cases are forcing that question into focus. Nick Reiner stands accused of stabbing his parents, director Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner, to death at their Brentwood home. He has a documented history of schizoaffective disorder, eighteen rehab stays, and a 2020 mental health conservatorship. His attorney withdrew while insisting Nick is "not guilty of murder"—signaling an insanity defense. Paul Caneiro is on trial in New Jersey for the 2018 murders of his brother Keith, sister-in-law Jennifer, and their two children at the family's Colts Neck mansion. Prosecutors say financial desperation drove the killings after Keith discovered Paul stealing from their businesses. Testimony this week included the final phone call between the brothers and graphic details about the children's injuries. Michael McKee, a vascular surgeon whose medical license had expired, pleaded not guilty to four counts of aggravated murder in the shooting deaths of his ex-wife Monique Tepe and her husband Dr. Spencer Tepe. Ballistic evidence allegedly ties a gun from McKee's property to the crime scene. All three cases involve family members. All three involve alleged warning signs that went unheeded. And all three leave the same question: what should families do when troubled becomes dangerous?#NickReiner #PaulCaneiro #MichaelMcKee #RobReiner #KeithCaneiro #SpencerTepe #MoniqueTepe #FamilyMurder #TrueCrimeToday #MurderTrialJoin Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? We're going live with defense attorney Bob Motta to break down Michael McKee's defense strategy after his not guilty plea to four counts of aggravated murder. McKee is now represented by Diane Menashe—the Columbus defense attorney who got Dr. William Husel acquitted of fourteen murder charges in 2022 by calling one witness and letting the prosecution's case collapse. The evidence against McKee appears substantial. Ballistics matching a weapon from his Chicago condo to shell casings at the scene. Vehicle tracking. Surveillance footage. A suppressor. No forced entry. Eight years between the divorce from Monique Tepe and her murder alongside her husband Spencer Tepe. But Menashe doesn't build defenses—she destroys prosecutions. And she's facing a Franklin County team where the lead prosecutor is trying her first felony case ever.Bob Motta walks us through how Menashe might attack each piece of evidence, whether NIBIN ballistics matching holds up to cross-examination, and what the no-forced-entry detail could mean for an alternative theory of the case. We'll discuss whether the eight-year gap helps the defense argue this wasn't an obsessed ex-husband, and what the suppressor specification signals about premeditation. Three family murder cases, three critical developments, one live breakdown. Nick Reiner's arraignment in the stabbing deaths of his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, has been pushed to February 23rd after attorney Alan Jackson withdrew while insisting his client is "not guilty of murder" under California law. Legal analysts expect an insanity plea based on Nick's schizoaffective disorder and 2020 conservatorship. We'll examine the behavioral warning signs that stretched back to childhood—and what FBI behavioral expert Robin Dreeke sees in the escalation pattern. In New Jersey, Paul Caneiro's murder trial has entered its second week with devastating testimony. Jurors heard Keith Caneiro's final phone call to his brother—"Give me the f***ing login, Paul!"—hours before he was shot five times outside his Colts Neck mansion. A detective testified that 8-year-old Sophia had a stab wound to her eye. The defense claims investigators ignored a third brother. And in Ohio, surgeon Michael McKee pleaded not guilty to murdering his ex-wife Monique Tepe and her husband Spencer Tepe. Prosecutors say ballistic evidence links a gun from McKee's property to shell casings at the scene. We're covering all three cases live with legal and behavioral analysis.#NickReiner #PaulCaneiro #MichaelMcKee #RobReiner #CaneirioTrial #TepeMurders #FamilyMurder #TrueCrimeLive #WeekInReview #HiddenKillersLiveJoin Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? The man accused of murdering Monique Tepe and her husband Dr. Spencer Tepe pleaded not guilty on January 23rd to four counts of aggravated murder. Michael McKee, 39, Monique's ex-husband, appeared via video before a Franklin County magistrate and waived bond. He remains in custody. Prosecutors allege McKee, a vascular surgeon, traveled from Illinois to Columbus and killed the couple in the early morning hours of December 30th. Spencer was shot multiple times. Monique sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. Their two children, ages four and one, were found inside the home unharmed. Columbus Police Chief Elaine Bryant has called this a "targeted" and "domestic violence related attack." Investigators say surveillance footage places McKee's vehicle at the scene before and after the killings. When multiple firearms were seized from his Rockford property, preliminary ballistic analysis linked one weapon to three 9mm shell casings recovered from the Tepe residence. The charges carry firearm specifications for using a gun and a suppressor. McKee is represented by Diane Menashe, who previously defended Dr. William Husel. Monique divorced McKee in 2017. She married Spencer in 2019. If convicted, McKee faces a minimum of life with parole eligibility after 32 years—or life without parole.#MichaelMcKee #MoniqueTepe #SpencerTepe #TepeMurders #ColumbusOhio #AggravatedMurder #BallisticEvidence #DomesticViolenceHomicide #JusticeForTepe #TepeCaseJoin Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Columbus police finally spoke. Sixteen days after Spencer and Monique Tepe were found shot dead, Chief Elaine Bryant confirmed investigators have a preliminary ballistic link between firearms recovered from Dr. Michael McKee's property and the murder scene. The connection came through NIBIN—the National Integrated Ballistic Information Network—which matches bullets and casings to weapons across federal databases.Attorney Eric Faddis explains what "preliminary" means in this context and how significant ballistics evidence becomes when combined with surveillance footage and vehicle records already tying McKee to the scene. Police have labeled this a targeted domestic violence attack. The charges were upgraded from murder to premeditated aggravated murder—death penalty eligible in Ohio. Eric breaks down the legal threshold for proving "prior calculation and design."The family's voice emerged today too. Rob Misleh, Spencer's brother-in-law, appeared on Good Morning America and described the abuse Monique endured during her marriage to McKee. "She just had to get away from him." He said the family spent eight years aware of the torment—watching Monique rebuild her life with Spencer while always looking over their shoulders.McKee allegedly drove from Illinois to Ohio and killed both Monique and Spencer while their two young children slept down the hall. He was arrested at a Chick-fil-A in Rockford, Illinois ten days later. He waived extradition but remains in Illinois awaiting transfer. His attorney says he'll plead not guilty.Chief Bryant indicated police are withholding evidence details to avoid jeopardizing the conviction. Eric Faddis maps out what defense strategies remain when ballistics, surveillance, and vehicle records all point in the same direction. Over 1,000 people attended the funeral. Police just connected the dots. Sixteen days after Spencer and Monique Tepe were found dead in their Columbus home, investigators announced they've recovered multiple firearms from Dr. Michael McKee's property—and one of those weapons has a preliminary ballistic match to the murder scene through NIBIN, the federal database that links bullets to guns across the country.McKee allegedly drove from Illinois to Ohio to kill his ex-wife Monique and her husband Spencer while their two young children slept feet away. Columbus Police Chief Elaine Bryant called it what it was: a targeted domestic violence attack. The charges have been upgraded to premeditated aggravated murder—death penalty eligible. Attorney Eric Faddis breaks down what "prior calculation and design" requires prosecutors to prove, and why this upgrade signals investigators may know more than they've revealed. The family broke their silence too. Rob Misleh, Spencer's brother-in-law, appeared on Good Morning America and described eight years of watching Monique try to escape McKee's abuse. "She just had to get away from him." He said the family knew the torment she endured. They spent years looking over their shoulders. Now two children are orphans and the threat the family always feared has been confirmed.McKee was arrested at a Chick-fil-A in Rockford, Illinois on January 10th. He waived extradition but remains in Illinois—transfer to Ohio reportedly won't happen by week's end. His attorney indicated he'll plead not guilty. Chief Bryant says police are withholding evidence details to protect the prosecution's case.Eric Faddis examines the legal road ahead: what defense strategies exist against ballistics evidence, surveillance footage, and vehicle records placing McKee at the scene. Columbus police broke their silence sixteen days after Spencer and Monique Tepe were found shot dead in their Weinland Park home. Chief Elaine Bryant confirmed what the family has known for eight years: this was a targeted domestic violence attack. Dr. Michael McKee, Monique's ex-husband, allegedly drove from Illinois to Ohio and killed both Monique and her husband Spencer while their two young children slept down the hall. The bombshell from today's press conference: police recovered multiple firearms from McKee's property, and there is a preliminary ballistic link through NIBIN—the National Integrated Ballistic Information Network—tying one of those weapons to the homicides. Attorney Eric Faddis explains what NIBIN is, what "preliminary" means legally, and how significant this evidence becomes at trial. Also breaking today: Spencer's brother-in-law Rob Misleh appeared on Good Morning America and spoke publicly for the first time about the abuse Monique endured during her brief marriage to McKee. His words cut straight through: "She just had to get away from him." He said many in the family were aware of the torment McKee put her through—and that Monique was willing to do anything to escape. The charges have been upgraded from murder to premeditated aggravated murder, death penalty eligible in Ohio. A five-count indictment. Four counts of aggravated murder. One count of aggravated burglary. And the allegation that Dr. Michael McKee used a firearm equipped with a suppressor to kill his ex-wife Monique Tepe and her husband Spencer.Tonight, defense attorney Bob Motta joins us live to analyze the prosecution's case. What does the suppressor allegation mean for proving "prior calculation and design" under Ohio law? Why four aggravated murder counts for two victims? And what does the aggravated burglary charge tell us about how prosecutors believe McKee entered the home — when there's still no explanation for how he got inside with no forced entry? The NIBIN ballistics match is being called "preliminary." McKee gave police an alibi before his arrest that didn't hold up. He only invoked silence after the cuffs went on. Motta explains how damaging those pre-arrest statements could be at trial — and whether the defense has any chance of getting them suppressed.McKee is a 39-year-old vascular surgeon with no criminal record, no malpractice, no disciplinary actions. His neighbors described him as friendly, normal — the guy who chatted at the pool. Now he's facing a minimum of life with parole after 32 years.Prosecutors have not filed capital specifications. Dr. Michael McKee is sitting in an Illinois jail charged with murdering his ex-wife Monique Tepe and her husband Spencer in Columbus, Ohio. The evidence against him is mounting — a preliminary NIBIN match linking a firearm from his Chicago penthouse to shell casings at the crime scene, surveillance footage of his vehicle arriving before the killings and leaving after, and video of a hooded figure in the alley at 3:52 AM. But this investigation still has gaps. Police say there was no forced entry at the Tepe home. They haven't explained how McKee allegedly got inside. And they haven't addressed the question that's puzzling everyone who's followed this case: why would a vascular surgeon — a man whose career depends on precision — allegedly keep the murder weapon in his own apartment for eleven days? Former FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer joins True Crime Today to analyze the forensic evidence, the surveillance timeline, and what investigators might be holding back. We examine the behavioral red flags that emerged months before these murders — McKee allegedly gave his employer a fake address, a malpractice process server tried nine times to locate him without success, and a former colleague said he "just disappeared." Coffindaffer explains what these patterns suggest and why McKee's decision to talk to police before invoking his right to remain silent could be the prosecution's most valuable asset. The defense has already signaled their strategy — McKee waived extradition and requested a speedy return to Ohio to plead not guilty. We're live with former FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer to break down the investigation into Dr. Michael McKee, the Chicago vascular surgeon charged with the premeditated aggravated murder of his ex-wife Monique Tepe and her husband Spencer in Columbus, Ohio. Police have released significant details this week — a preliminary NIBIN ballistics match linking a firearm from McKee's residence to shell casings at the scene, surveillance footage placing his vehicle at the Tepe home before and after the murders, and video of a hooded figure walking through an alley at 3:52 AM. But the investigation still has unanswered questions. There was no forced entry. Police haven't explained how McKee allegedly got inside. And they haven't addressed why a surgeon with McKee's education and resources would allegedly keep the murder weapon in his penthouse apartment for eleven days. Coffindaffer walks us through the forensic methodology behind NIBIN matching, what investigators look for when there's no sign of break-in, and why McKee's pre-arrest statements could be devastating at trial. We also examine the pattern of evasion that emerged in the months before these murders — a process server tried nine times to find McKee at addresses that didn't exist. His former colleague said he vanished. Police confirmed no prior reports were filed from the Tepe address, but they hedged when asked about communications between McKee and Monique. What are they holding back? Join us live as we take your questions and break down every angle of this case with one of the best investigative minds in the business.#MoniqueTepe #MichaelMcKee #TepeMurders #HiddenKillersLive #JenniferCoffindaffer #TrueCrimeLive #DoubleHomicide #ColumbusOhio #FBIAnalysis #LiveStreamJoin Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Two major cases. One attorney breaking down the evidence, the strategy, and where the legal system fails. Eric Faddis joins True Crime Today for a comprehensive analysis. On the Reiner case: Alan Jackson withdrew under circumstances he's "legally prohibited" from explaining — but declared Nick "not guilty of murder" on his way out. There's a sealed medical order. Ten sealed subpoenas. Nick appeared in a suicide prevention smock and reportedly isn't medically stabilized. Eric examines the competency question, what the gas station footage means, and whether losing Jackson fundamentally changes Nick's chances. On the McKee prosecution: Police announced a preliminary ballistic link through NIBIN connecting a weapon from McKee's property to the Tepe murders. Surveillance footage traced a vehicle to him — arriving before the killings, leaving after. Charges were upgraded to premeditated aggravated murder, death penalty eligible. Eric breaks down what evidence prosecutors need, how ballistics can be challenged, and what defense strategies remain for someone pleading not guilty. On domestic violence: The Tepe divorce records show no abuse allegations — just "incompatibility." But Monique's family says she was emotionally abused and "just had to get away from him." Eight years after the divorce, court activity brought McKee and Monique back together. Six months later, she was dead. Eric examines why victims don't document abuse, how the system treats emotional abuse differently, and whether this was a threat that could ever have been legally prevented. For anyone recognizing their situation in Monique's story, Eric offers legal advice on protection — and where the system's limits are.#EricFaddis #NickReiner #MichaelMcKee #MoniqueTepe #SpencerTepe #TrueCrimeToday #InsanityDefense #Ballistics #DomesticViolence #TrueCrimeJoin Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? The Evidence Police Say Proves Michael McKee Killed the Tepes Columbus Police have now revealed critical evidence in the investigation into the brutal murders of Spencer Tepe and Monique Tepe — and tonight, we break down exactly what investigators disclosed during their official news conference. In this episode of Police Off The Cuff, we analyze the evidence police say links Michael McKee to the Tepe double homicide, including ballistic findings, search warrant results from McKee's apartment, vehicle movement evidence, and digital forensic data recovered by investigators. According to Columbus Division of Police, this case was built through a convergence of physical, digital, and forensic evidence — not speculation or public pressure. We explain how ballistic matching works, why search-warrant recoveries matter in homicide cases, how vehicle tracking strengthens timelines, and why digital evidence often becomes the silent witness in modern prosecutions. This episode focuses strictly on verified facts, investigative procedures, and what police actually said — separating evidence from rumor and explaining how these cases are prepared for court and eventual trial. If you want a clear, professional breakdown of the evidence — from a law-enforcement perspective — you're in the right place. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Reading and analysis of Kyle Anzalone's recent article published at The Libertarian Institute.
Listen to the article with analysis from the author: The UK is attempting to build a new tactical missile for Ukraine that will have a range of over 300 miles. The initiative, dubbed “Project Nightfall,” aims to develop a ground-launched tactical ballistic missile with a range of 310 miles and a 450-pound warhead. If that metric is met, it will be one of the longest-range weapons the West has provided to Ukraine. The project will come with a substantial price tag for London and likely take years before the missiles are operational. The UK has awarded three companies $12 million to design a prototype missile. London expects to conduct the first testfire in a year. The UK expects each Project Nightfall missile to cost over $1 million once the munition enters production. London also expects to incorporate the missiles into its arsenal. Minister for Defence Readiness and Industry, Luke Pollard, said, “A secure Europe needs a strong Ukraine. These new long-range British missiles will keep Ukraine in the fight and give Putin another thing to worry about.” Moscow views the West supplying Ukraine with long-range munitions as highly provocative. Kiev has launched multiple attacks on military, civilian, and energy targets inside Russia. Moscow has also pummeled Ukraine with nightly waves of missile and drone attacks. Last week, Russia destroyed a Ukrainian aircraft repair facility with an Oreshnik hypersonic missile.

Breaking case update: Ashlee Buzzard has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the killing of her 9-year-old daughter Melodee Buzzard. The criminal complaint alleges Ashlee shot Melodee multiple times in the head with a 9mm handgun, with special allegations of cruelty, viciousness, and lying in wait. Here's what investigators say happened. On October 7th, Ashlee rented a Chevrolet Malibu and left California with Melodee. Surveillance footage captured both wearing wigs — Melodee in a dark, straight-haired wig that looked nothing like her natural curls. Over three days, the car traveled through Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, and Colorado. Ashlee allegedly swapped the plates and backed into gas stations to avoid detection. The last confirmed sighting of Melodee was October 9th near the Colorado-Utah border. Ashlee returned home October 10th without her daughter. She refused to explain where Melodee was. For ten weeks, investigators watched Ashlee while building the case — but couldn't arrest her without proof Melodee was dead. That proof came December 6th when a couple found remains in a remote Utah desert. Ballistic evidence matched a shell casing from Ashlee's home. DNA confirmed the body was Melodee. Ashlee was arrested December 23rd, two days before Christmas. She has pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors are seeking life without parole. The murder weapon has not been recovered. No motive has been established. Ashlee Buzzard is now charged with first-degree murder in the death of her 9-year-old daughter Melodee Buzzard. According to prosecutors, Ashlee shot Melodee multiple times in the head and left her body in a remote Utah desert. But the path to this arrest took over two months — and the reason why is infuriating. Investigators knew almost immediately that something was wrong. On October 7th, 2025, Ashlee rented a car and took Melodee on a road trip spanning eight states. Surveillance footage showed both wearing wigs. Ashlee allegedly swapped license plates mid-trip and backed into gas stations to avoid cameras. On October 9th, Melodee was captured on surveillance near the Colorado-Utah border. It was the last time she was seen alive. Ashlee came home the next day — alone. She never explained where Melodee was. She never cooperated. Investigators surveilled her around the clock, executed multiple search warrants, and found a spent shell casing in her home. But without a body, they couldn't prove murder. That changed December 6th when photographers in Utah's Wayne County discovered remains on a dirt road. Ballistics linked the scene to Ashlee's home. DNA confirmed it was Melodee. Ashlee was arrested December 23rd and pleaded not guilty. Melodee's grandmother — who hadn't seen her in years — received a call from detectives: "The baby is with her dad now." Melodee's father died when she was six months old. No motive. No murder weapon. No answers. Just a 9-year-old who deserved so much better. #AshleeBuzzard #MelodeeBuzzard #TrueCrimePodcast #CaliforniaCrime #JusticeForMelodee #TrueCrimeAudio #FBI #UtahCrime #Lompoc #HiddenKillers Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISDOES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/ Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? In this episode, we take a hard look at the second police interrogation of Richard Allen and the claims investigators made about ballistics evidence. Authorities described the forensic link between Allen's firearm and a bullet allegedly recovered near the Delphi crime scene as ironclad. But experts have repeatedly warned that this type of comparison is far more fragile than the public is led to believe. We break down why this ambiguity matters, how overstated science can shape an interrogation, and how investigators used these claims to amplify psychological pressure in the room. Despite being confronted with confident assertions about gun evidence, Allen maintained his innocence throughout questioning. His refusal to accept the narrative being pushed at him raises a deeper question: How much weight should be placed on a form of forensic testing that many specialists view as subjective at best? We also examine Allen's deteriorating mental state during more than a year spent in solitary confinement—conditions typically reserved for the most dangerous offenders, not individuals awaiting trial. His jailhouse phone calls reveal a man unraveling: confused, disoriented, desperate for relief. At his lowest moments, Allen even tells his wife he would falsely confess if it would end their suffering, highlighting the devastating psychological toll isolation can inflict. This episode forces listeners to confront uncomfortable truths about interrogation tactics, the limits of ballistics evidence, and the immense pressure a vulnerable suspect can face inside the criminal justice system. It's a stark reminder of how quickly the presumption of innocence can erode when a system leans harder on coercion than clarity. #DelphiCase #RichardAllen #TrueCrimeNews #BallisticsEvidence #InterrogationAnalysis #SolitaryConfinement #JusticeSystemFailure #HiddenKillers #TrueCrimePodcast #DueProcessRights Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? GDP Script/ Top Stories for December 4th Publish Date: December 4th PRE-ROLL: SUGAR HILL ICE SKATING From the BG AD Group Studio Welcome to the Gwinnett Daily Post Podcast. Today is Thursday, December 4th and Happy birthday to Jeff Bridges I’m Peyton Spurlock and here are your top stories presented by KIA Mall of Georgia. Lake Lanier Association Completes Phase Three of Shoreline Protection Program Hilscher wins another term in Suwanee City Council Police aim to deter youth gun violence in slain officer's memory Plus, Leah McGrath from Ingles Markets on carrots All of this and more is coming up on the Gwinnett Daily Post podcast, and if you are looking for community news, we encourage you to listen daily and subscribe! Break 1: GCPS Hiring STORY 1: Lake Lanier Association Completes Phase Three of Shoreline Protection Program Lake Lanier’s shoreline just got a little more secure—5,280 feet of it, to be exact. The Lake Lanier Association (LLA) announced the completion of the third phase of Project Armor, its ongoing effort to fight erosion caused by heavy boat traffic. This phase reinforced 16 badly eroded areas with rip rap, a method that helps absorb wave energy and protect the shoreline. Over the past 12 years, the LLA has armored 3 miles of shoreline, saving 28 islands and areas from disappearing into the lake. Why does it matter? These islands aren’t just pretty—they’re vital. They provide wildlife habitats, beaches, and safe spots for fishing and recreation. Without protection, some islands have already vanished, and erosion is making the lake shallower, threatening both recreation and the drinking water supply for over 5 million Georgians. This project, supported by partners like the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and local counties, is far from over. With 12 million visitors a year, Lake Lanier’s waves aren’t slowing down anytime soon. STORY 2: Hilscher wins another term in Suwanee City Council Suwanee City Councilwoman Beth Hilscher is sticking around for another four years after edging out David Martinez in Tuesday’s runoff for the Post 4 seat. Unofficial results show Hilscher pulled in 734 votes to Martinez’s 638. Suwanee wasn’t the only Gwinnett city with a runoff—Duluth voters also hit the polls to decide the Post 3 City Council race between incumbent Lamar Doss and challenger Marlene Denise Tucker. In Suwanee, it’s Hilscher who’s celebrating. STORY 3: Police aim to deter youth gun violence in slain officer's memory Gwinnett County police have rolled out a new program aimed at steering kids away from guns while honoring Officer Antwan Toney, who was tragically killed in the line of duty seven years ago. Called Toney’s Program, it launched in September and focuses on first-time or minor handgun offenses among juveniles. The program, named after Toney—who was shot by a teen in 2018—pairs participants with mentors for a seven-week curriculum and three months of follow-up support. Families are involved too, attending sessions alongside their kids. Teens hear from gun violence victims and learn conflict resolution, emotional awareness, and nonviolent decision-making. The first group graduated last month, with the next starting in January. We have opportunities for sponsors to get great engagement on these shows. Call 770.874.3200 for more info. We’ll be right back Break 2: 07.14.22 KIA MOG- DTL HOLIDAY STORY 4: Snellville man convicted of attacking former basketball teammates A Snellville man, just 20 years old, is headed to prison for 25 years after a string of violent attacks on his former high school basketball teammates. Jet Horne, once a senior on South Gwinnett High’s 2022-23 team, was convicted last week on a laundry list of charges—aggravated assault, firearm possession, criminal damage, even hijacking a car. The incidents? Three separate attacks between December 2024 and May 2025. In December, Horne ambushed Talal Ansah, shooting him eight times as he returned home from work. Ansah barely survived. Then, in March, Horne fired into Timair Walker’s car, injuring a neighbor with a stray bullet. By May, he escalated—holding Maalik Leitch at gunpoint, stealing his BMW, and leading police on a chase. Ballistics tied it all together, sealing Horne’s fate. “This was a violent, senseless series of crimes,” said DA Patsy Austin-Gatson. “We’re grateful for justice and continue to pray for the victims.” STORY 5: BOYS BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Dacula Keeps Rolling with Lopsided Win Dacula cruised past Jackson County on Tuesday night, dominating with an 82-58 win in boys basketball. Case Presley was unstoppable, racking up 20 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists. Josh Brown added 15 points, six boards, and four steals, while Dorian Douglas chipped in 15 points, five steals, and four assists. Kenny LaRue (nine points, six assists), Luke Anderson (nine points), and Caleb Golding (nine points, four rebounds) rounded out the Falcons’ balanced attack. Dacula now sits at 6-1 on the season. ATLANTA FALCONS: The Falcons, with six losses in their last seven games, will take on the Seahawks, who’ve won six of their last seven. Led by coach Mike Macdonald and quarterback Sam Darnold, the 9-3 Seahawks face the Falcons at 1 p.m. Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. U.S. MENS SOCCER: The U.S. Men’s National Team will face Belgium, Portugal, and Germany in a high-stakes pre-World Cup series. Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium hosts two matches: USA vs. Belgium on March 28 at 3:30 p.m. ET and USA vs. Portugal on March 31 at 7 p.m. ET. Del Whitman is back to help explain shotshell pressures and how to create optimal patterns. Del puts the mystery of shot ballistics into layman's terms, describing how patterns perform and how extreme pressures destroy pattern density and pose risks to fine guns. In response to a listener query, he also digs into the magical properties of TSS and Tungsten alloys, which seem to break all the rules.

BT & Sal kick off the segment with a mix of disgust and fascination over football player Cam Skattebo's latest viral stunt: chugging an energy drink from his cleat (a "Shoey"). Then, they dive into a fiery hypothetical: an Athletic-proposed trade for Tigers ace Tarik Skubal involving a Yankees package of Spencer Jones, Will Warren, and two pitching prospects. The hosts debate whether this offer is deliberately undervaluing Skubal compared to the Mets' reported trade pieces, reigniting the argument over the true quality of the Yankees' farm system. The conversation shifts to the upcoming Japanese posting window, with Sal confidently predicting the Mets and Yankees will each land a star, while Tierney is skeptical, fearing the Dodgers will collect everyone. They discuss the worrying scouting report on star hitter Munetaka Murakami and his inability to hit fastballs over 93 MPH. The segment wraps up by venting about high NBA ticket prices and the outrage fans feel when high-priced stars like Giannis sit out.
Russia's Winter Strikes on Ukrainian Energy and the Battle for Pokrovsk. John Hardie discusses how Russia is escalating its winter campaign against Ukrainian energy infrastructure using a higher percentage of hard-to-intercept ballistic missiles and drones. This aims to break Ukrainian will and create leverage for negotiations. On the front, the battle for Pokrovsk is difficult, with Russians infiltrating the city and disrupting logistics using fiber-optic-controlled FPV drones. Although Ukraine has succeeded in attriting Russian forces there, preserving manpower by avoiding a late withdrawal remains a critical concern. 1855

Iran's Nuclear Stalemate, Economic Crisis, and Missile Program Aspirations. Jonathan Schanzer discusses how Iran views the lack of peace or war with Israel as a dangerous stalemate, while aspiring to fire 2,000 ballistic missiles at once in a future conflict. Covert Israeli operations target Iranian missile facilities. Despite sanctions, Iran's oil exports have sharply increased (2.3 million barrels/day) due to lax enforcement, funneling money to regime kleptocrats. Domestic crises like water and power shortages are increasing internal desperation, as the regime prioritizes regional ambitions over the welfare of the average Iranian.
