How Communicating With Parents Can Be Hard Every parent has a process when it comes to their child but when you ignore the signs of what is happening with your child you are not helping your child. No matter your age you are always your parents child in their eyes. There does come a day where they will need the support such as reminders to things when they forget things in their daily life. This is a hard switch since in their eyes you are the child and who are you telling them what to do. Then with age other things can occur and this is my story with my father having dementia and coming out with my 90 day self-care journal “Love That Remains” for caregivers and family members who are going through this struggle. Having to be strong for everyone and how are you taking care of yourself.

Have friends around you that support you when you have those moments. Who supports you and understands how things can be hard is who you want to be around in life.

Feeling lost and confusted and at the same time gving permission as you watch your parent fade away.

Do you ever wonder why some reward systems don't work well with children? Or when you try to take something away from a child and their response is “Go for it, I don't care?”. If so, this is a podcast for you!

Is a child avoiding certain subjects? Are you including your child in their own learning accommodations? Is it working? What is happening for the child in the classroom? Here are some tips!

Here is how I made it to Vietnam and what I found myself feeling and missing. As a child I have traveled to many different places and observed how others lived their lives as a family. The one common thread with these countries is the sense of community that I do feel is missing where I live and how it feeds the soul. Is this the reason so many children are suffering and depression and anxiety are up? Something to think about as so many people are feeling alone. I'm not saying this is the reason but food for thought!
