In today's episode, we've been traveling a LOT here recently (00:14)... If you've ever thought about poaching a record buck, let this be a lesson to you (02:19). The Beast and Brews event got rescheduled if y'all were looking to head on down (07:04). There ain't much on the ground here lately other than a ton of coyotes (08:05). Mikey snapped a pic of an UNBELIEVABLE elk while hunting out in Texas (11:46). We always want to go out and hunt that trophy buck, but man sometimes you just can't beat shed hunting (15:48). We've been prepping to burn for the past few weeks, but this weekend is FINALLY the time to do it (17:55)! Mark and Jamie did a little patrolling around the farm yesterday and managed to pick up a few good lookin' sheds (25:09). We covered a bit of it last week, but we're taking a DEEP DIVE into our trip to the NWTF (27:27). Rolling Thunder hooked Mark up with a brand new mouth call (41:54)! Back in the day hunting products weren't ANYTHING like they are now (44:26). If you're looking to go to the NWTF, here's the BEST days to go (47:44). Mark got himself a new turkey gun, and it is READY TO GO (49:31). Are you an over-packer or a minimalist when it comes to your turkey vest (56:15)?
By Tim Pebworth - Jesus compares the kingdom of heaven to ten virgins who went out to meet the bridegroom. Five were prepared, and five were not. The five who were unprepared didn't bring enough oil for their lamps, while the wise virgins made sure they were ready. The big question for us today is: Are we ready to go
Post-Gazette Pirates insider Noah Hiles discusses his key takeaways from the team's 5-2 win over the Orioles on Saturday afternoon at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota, Fla. Saturday marked Paul Skenes' first appearance of spring training. How did he fare, and how did his new offerings look as he hopes to build on a Rookie of the Year campaign in 2024? The Pirates hit four home runs Saturday, including one by Oneil Cruz. Is this a sign of things to come for the shortstop turned center fielder? What can Nick Solak provide for the Pirates after he, too, went deep Saturday? And first-round pick Konnor Griffin mashed the game-winning home run Saturday. Is that power part of his scouting report, and where might we see Griffin to start the season? Noah answers those questions and more.
Sens captain Brady Tkachuk speaks to the media ahead of Saturday's game against the San Jose Sharks
After beating the Denver Nuggets, the Los Angeles Lakers have proved they can match up with a team to beat in the Western Conference. JJ Redick's game-planning is working, and LeBron James is happy playing with Luka Doncic. Can the Lakers win the West? Are the Thunder a foregone conclusion to go to the Finals? Will the Celtics repeat? Or if they fail, would they sell off their core? What is not clear as of Wednesday, however, is whether or not the Nittany Lions will have all 10 of their starters available for matches at Ohio State on Friday and Illinois on Sunday. The Blue-White Illustrated wrestling show is back to discuss last weekend's two wins, the latest on the Lions' injury situation, and what's on the horizon for head coach Cael Sanderson's team.Reporter Greg Pickel and host Thomas Frank Carr start this week's episode with a look back at last weekend. Penn State shutout Michigan 39-0 on Friday. Then, it beat Maryland 35-10 on Sunday. What did we learn from the two victories? The duo discusses that as the Lions took their 67th and 68th consecutive dual meets. From there, the conversation moves on to the injury front. Braeden Davis, the starter at 133 pounds, missed another two matches and has now sat out the team's last three due to injury. Tyler Kasak, meanwhile, had to injury default out of Sunday's bout with Terrapin Ethen Miller. It's not yet clear if either will be available this weekend. The show closes with a look ahead to a Friday night match with No. 5 Ohio State before traveling to No. 19 Illinois. The top bout in Columbus will feature No. 1 Jesse Mendez vs. No. 3 Beau Bartlett at 141 pounds. Mendez beat the Penn State senior in both last year's national final and also at this season's NWCA All-Star Classic. What can fans expect from Penn State this weekend? In this episode of “At Your Convenience,” CSP Editor Chuck Ulie talks with Richard Poye, founder of Nashville-based Fresh Foods Think Tank. Poye talks about the importance of execution and maintaining trust with one's convenience-store customers—and ensuring messages are clear, concise and translatable. Poye also discusses flavor trends, from the early stages to proliferation to going mainstream. Finally, he dives into the importance of food photography—lighting, angles and more—and how a customer's first sensorial experience of a product is “probably on their phone or on a billboard.”

It's a question I see asked a lot. There's a whole Facebook group dedicated to discussing the issues parents have when their children are preparing to leave home for university, and the questions come in cycles. Right now, it's UCAS forms and university choices, as the deadline for applications looms. In a couple of months it will be questions about A-Level revision and exam dates, and then will come the angst - in rafts - over teenagers whose parents don't think they're ready. (I have a sneaking suspicion it's the parents who aren't ready most of the time, not the kids.My guest in this episode speaks to this parental fear as a parent herself, and as a psychologist who supports families of children and teenagers with type 1 diabetes. Professor Deborah Christie talks about how any disability makes it more difficult to leave home, especially for the often chaotic lifestyle of university. With data* suggesting that over a third of young adults have a long-term physical or mental health condition, disability or illness, could this be something your listeners might be interested in? Deborah offers reassurance and tips for success, whatever your fears for your child as they gain independence and have to look after themselves. * Research commissioned to mark the integration of Abbott's FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus sensor withInsulet's Omnipod® 5 Automated Insulin Delivery System.More for parents of teenagers preparing for university Don't fear the empty nest (podcast) 10 Tips for coping with empty nest syndrome (read) Being diagnosed with diabetes as a teenager (podcast) How to keep your teen safe at university (read) 60 Gifts for university students (list)Who is Deborah Christie? Good morning, everyone! Welcome to the Anthony Gargano Show. It's Football Friday, and we're excited for Dallas week! There hasn't been any official announcement about whether Jalen Hurts will start this Sunday against the Cowboys. If Jalen doesn't play, how do we feel about Kenny Pickett stepping in? A victory over Dallas would not only secure the NFC East for the Eagles but also guarantee them the second seed heading into the playoffs. How confident are we in the Eagles claiming the 2 seed? Are they on track to host the Commanders in the first round of the playoffs? Join Anthony and the team as we tackle these questions and more on this lively Football Friday!

Can a mother's love really be that blind? Jennifer Coffindaffer dives into the latest on Diddy's mother's response to the explosive allegations facing her son. Through his attorneys, Diddy's mom released a statement defending him, calling it all a “public lynching,” and standing by him despite the disturbing accusations. But was this statement truly her own? Or is Diddy controlling the narrative, even through his own family? Coffindaffer questions the optics of this family unity, especially when it comes with flashy courtroom fashion choices that seem more suited for the VMAs. She dissects the surreal, almost bizarre justifications put forward by the defense, painting Diddy's alleged actions as consensual escapades. But could Diddy's mom genuinely be unaware of the alleged hedonism that's been tied to his name, or is she willingly turning a blind eye for the sake of loyalty, fame, and the benefits that come with it? Are we witnessing a mother's unwavering support, or is this a case of “see no evil” when it's most convenient? #Diddy #TrueCrime #JenniferCoffindaffer #HiddenKillers #Cassie #FamilyLoyalty #PublicLynching Want to listen to ALL of our podcasts AD-FREE?
