In this Podcast Nicky talks us through how she helped her son manage autism and then how Nicky identified her own Mental health challenges. Through her own determination for answers Nicky came across Neurodevelopment practices which ultimately allowed Nicky to take more control. Hi I’m Nicky and I am a neurodevelopment specialist, I work with individuals who are on the autism spectrum and those with ADHD from my home in Suffolk, England and worldwide via zoom. Through a gentle movement based programme, I help kids and adults to re-wire their brain, which creates new connections within the brain that aren’t automatically there in neurodiverse people. The programme I use has a profound knock on effect, reducing anxiety, depression, angry outbursts, sensory challenges, sleeping problems, being in public spaces, bed wetting and so much more. Did you know that noises and lights can be physically painful for those with autism? I can help with that. Did you know that food fussiness in autistic and adhd individuals are often sensory based? I can help with this too. The majority of autism information is geared towards parents with autistic kids, which is great, but those autistic kids grow up to be autistic adults, and a huge percentage of females with autism have simply slipped under the radar, mostly due to their incredible talent of masking. Did you know that the majority of autism research has been conducted on males, and females display very differently to boys and men, this has led to many females being misdiagnosed with mental health conditions such as bipolar, PTSD, depression and anxiety. It is my goal to shine a light on female autism and help those who are struggling regardless of age, there is a distinct lack of awareness around autism in girls and adult women, this means that there is a lack of support and I would like that to change. Through coaching and therapies tailored to each individual client, I’ll teach you how to take back control and to step into your power. If you have answered yes to any of the above questions, then I would love to hear from you and invite you to contact me.

Luigi's journey into the exploration of consciousness began at an early age. This wasn’t deliberate – answers to some of life’s biggest questions arrived before Luigi had a chance to ask them! Luigi's early non-physical and lucid dreaming experiences left him with the knowledge that there is much more going on than what we can perceive through our physical senses. As Luigi progressed through school and university, he became increasingly interested in understanding different aspects of mind and consciousness; which resulted in obtaining a BSc in Psychology. Whilst the degree itself didn’t really answer any of my questions, it was during his time at university that he was involved in many personal experiments involving hypnosis and Hemi-Sync®. As in childhood, his experiences took off – he had many OBEs and lucid dreams, and have kept a detailed journal ever since. After being introduced to Bob Monroe’s tools and research, Luigi became very interested in the simplicity of using non-invasive technology to explore and expand human potential. After wonderful experiences on TMI courses, Luigi decided to become an Outreach facilitator to help as many people as possible to experience more of their total selves, whilst enjoying this great opportunity for personal growth. As a residential facilitator, Luigi is dedicated to bringing more weekend and residential programs to the UK. Luigi also supports TMI as a professional member; taking part in experimental research and developing new applications for the technology, such as in the Lucid Dreaming Intensive program that Luigi co-created with Thomas Hasenberger. http://www.monroeinstituteuk.org/

Her specialist area is in helping people overcome suffering and trauma from abuse. In doing so, Yasmin's clients are able to lead happy and fulfilling lives in their intimate relationships. Yasmin has a no nonsense, direct approach and uses humour and empathy alongside practical coaching accumulated over the last 20 years to remove limiting beliefs and self sabotaging behaviours. Born into an Indian family full of cultural traditions, Yasmin always felt like she didn’t belong. Yasmin ran away from home straight into a series of abusive relationships. Not quite knowing how and why Yasmin kept attracting the same type of destructive behaviours whilst all the while losing who she was. Yasmin suffered from huge low self-esteem, never fitting in anywhere, Yasmin had little value or love for herself – Yasmins confidence was in the gutter. When Yasmin thought it couldn’t get any worse but then in 2012 Yasmin was diagnosed with Cancer – this was her first realisation that her world had to change, Yasmin just didn’t know how. By 2014, in remission from Cancer, Yasmin found herself homeless and facing a major operation to remove a sizeable tumour. A single mum, Yasmin was in a relationship that was not making her happy and financially, spiritually, emotionally, physically bankrupt – Yasmin had nothing left in her and had hit rock bottom. The great thing about hitting rock bottom is that it can’t get any worse – this is where her life really began. Yasmin's surgery was life changing, Yasmin learnt gratitude, love, appreciation and at 44 years old began liking myself – that was new as Yasmin never really liked herself let alone loved herself! The psychic and intuitive gifts she had shut down from childhood reopened and learnt how to channel her new found super powers, heal herself and change her entire life for the better. So if she could do it, why couldn’t Yasmin help others do it? This is where Spiritual Rebel was born. Spiritual Rebel is about learning to embrace a conscious way of living without conforming to what society dictates. To accept your dark and light and actually like it. To embrace who you are and be completely unapologetic about it whilst living a life of happiness. This episode is with Swami Atma Gyanam Saraswati, Atma teaches a unique style called Bhava Yoga. It is a versatile style that is adaptable to individual needs. Classes will be appropriate whether you are looking primarily for health and fitness, or for peace and relaxation. They are great for first timers, those returning to yoga, or expert yogis. You finish a Bhava Yoga class feeling light, relaxed, and with increased energy levels. The feeling often lasts for a few days and the inspiration you might take from just one pose can last a lifetime. Students have reported the practice helping with insomnia, headaches, muscle tension, digestive problems, confidence, back pain, anxiety, joint stiffness (e.g. knees), as well as all the increase of strength, co-ordination, and flexibility you would expect from the practice of Yoga. Bhava means the essence or feeling of the yoga postures. The ancient sages who created these postures were inspired by heroes and gods from myth, from animals, and natural forms. These forms gave their names to the yoga postures, but often the original inspiration is forgotten. By going back to the original idea, and combining it with modern understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and proper alignment Bhava Yoga gets you the most out of every pose. Not only do you get the physical benefits, the strength, agility, mobility, and relaxation of the various animals etc, you can also get inspired by them. Perhaps you could do with a warriors courage, or an eagles concentration, or the restfulness of a crocodile basking in the sun. Each posture has a secret that you can unlock through practice. Bhava also means feeling as in mood, so the days when you have energy to spare you can practice more dynamically, and the days when you need to recharge you can practice in a restorative way. http://www.theyogatree.co.uk/
