    We had the pleasure of being joined by former amateur world #1 and 5 time European (DP World) Tour champion Michael Hoey. We talked about growing up playing golf on the links to winning the British Amateur in 2001, the same year he represented the GB&I Walker Cup Team, which led to appearances in both The Open and The Masters before turning professional. So with such a successful amateur pedigree, we discussed the transition into the professional game, which didn't see a first professional victory until 3 years later and didn't get his first European Tour win until 7 years after turning professional in 2009.
