In this latest podcast episode I was joined by 2019 English Women's Amateur Strokeplay Champion Rebecca Earl who comes off a solid start to this year with a top 10 at Blair Atholl on Sunshine Ladies Tour in South Africa, T25th at Madaef Golfs Ladies Open in Morocco, T35th at Allegria Ladies Open in Austria both on LET Access Series as well as winning Rose Ladies Series event at Formby Golf Club a terrific achievement! Rebecca is from just outside of Chelmsford outside of London and started the game at the age of 11 where she joined Bishop's Stortford Golf Club but currently represents Princes Golf Club. In 2019, Rebecca would become the English Women's Amateur Strokeplay Champion before going to Wofford College in South Carolina where she would win 3x Individual NCAA DI Collegiate events before finishing off her final year at University of Houston in Texas. Rebecca would also finish runner up at 2023 English Women's Amateur Strokeplay.  Rebecca would turn pro in 2023 and would have a T12th at Santander Golf Tour Avila. In 2024 her best finish was 53rd at GET Golfing on LETAS proving just how difficult at times Golf can be at the highest pro levels something Rebecca was very open and honest about to her respect. In 2025 would see a T15th at Madaef Golf's Ladies Open, 48th at Czech Challenge & T13th at the prestigious Rose Ladies Open but would also see a run of 13 missed cuts out of 16 events although a very frustrating period it was important to find out how to deal with such adversity.  2026 has been a much better start for Rebecca and I wish her all the best this year in her push to the Ladies European Tour. Thanks for the chat and being open through some of the hardships. Download via Podbean, Apple & Spotify, also on YouTube.

A 9x French National Champion at all levels & representing France in 10 consecutive years Chloé would also win European Nations Cup in 2017 as well as finishing runner up at 2020 European Ladies Amateur Championship in Slovakia.  Chloé would go down the States route for education and would enroll at Kent State University and would also have a 26th place finish at Lacoste Ladies Open de France as an amateur. On this week's edition of the podcast, Peter and Rónán try to make sense of Sunday night as Shane Lowry snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in an unthinkable fashion at the Cognizant Classic.Lowry led by three strokes with three to play but back to back double bogeys compounded a disastrous finish as Nico Echavarria stole in for the victory and to pay off the mortgage. There are still plenty of reasons to be positive for Lowry going forward on what was a generally positive week for the Irish with two runner-up finishes on mini tours while Áine Donegan shone in Australia on her professional debut on the Ladies European Tour.

After a long while of trying, it was a pleasure to finally be joined by 7x Professional title winner & 2x Belgian Olympian Manon De Roey after a solid season stateside reaching CME Tour finals on LPGA Tour. Manon'a trophy collection also includes 3x Ladies European Tour titles at 2022 Aramco Series Bangkok, 2024 Investec SA Women's Open & last year's Australian Women's Classic.  Manon is from the Schilde Muncipality just outside of Antwerp in Belgium and although she played Hockey for 13 years at a good level, she would start playing the game around about the age of 11. Manon had some success at Junior & Amateur level winning the Belgian Amateur Strokeplay twice in 2013 & 2014, winning the 2014 Belgian Matchplay Championship, receiving the 2009 Annette De Vooght Trophy given to the Best Female Belgian player, would participate in 2009 European Girls' Team Championships for Belgium as well as the European Ladies' Team Championship & Espirito Santo Trophy in Japan during her time at University of New Mexico. In 2015 Manon would turn professional and between 2018 & 2019 on LET Access Series she would pick up 3 titles winning WPGA International Challenge in back to back years as well as 2019 Santander GT LETAS Valencia. In 2020 in the midst of a weird time De Roey would pick up a mini tour title in Australia at Aoyuan International Moss Vale Pro Am.  As well as participating at both 2021 & 2024 Olympic Games in Tokyo and Paris respectively some great memories for Manon to reflect on, 2022 would see the maiden title won on Ladies European Tour at Aramco Series Individual in Bangkok by 3 shots (Manon actually brings out the trophy on camera, lovely). She would follow that up in 2024 in South Africa winning by 4 then at last year's Australian Women's Classic at Coffs Harbour playing one of the most clutch 2nd shots in a long time to win by a shot to Cara Gainer.  In 2025 alone outwith the LET victory would see a 9th placed finish at Chevron Championship major and a host of good finishes contributing to making CME Tour finals at Tiburon, a fantastic achievement. I just want to thank Manon for being such a great guest. Great player, lovely person and thanks for the privilege of seeing your trophy on the screen! All the best for 2026! After chatting with Ale & partner/caddy Giulio in Spain it was great to have her on for a full episode. A great duo at the moment. Alessandra is from Alatri in the Lazio district of Italy and would take up the game at round about 9 years old. Ale has had a great junior career which seen her play in 2017 Junior Solheim Cup for Europe, 4x European Ladies' Am Team Championship for Italy but biggest of all was helping Italy make history winning their first ever Gold Medal at 2016 European Girls' Team Championships a memory that has stuck forever. In 2022 Ale would finish runner up at Italian Ladies Open as an amateur after Morgane Metraux holed for Eagle from 20ft to clinch the title in the playoff.  Since 2023 Fanali has been very consistent performer and has numerous Top 10 & Top 20 finishes on tour including 3 runner ups on LET and would represent Italy at 2024 Olympics Games. In another brilliant episode today from tournament day 2 of Andalucia Open de Espana I was joined by the 36 hole leader 2023 LET Order of Merit winner Trichat Cheenglab who goes into the weekend with a 7 shot advantage to Fanali in 2nd after a quite sensational round of -8 63 to finish on -15 after 2 rounds which is an unbelievable performance so far while also joining me was podcast guest not too long ago 4x Santander Golf Tour winner Lauren Holmey who came to join in as we find out about their tournament so far and what their thoughts are on the course at Guadalhorce. Trichat Cheenglab also known by Mine won 2023 Order of Merit & was Rookie of the Year in the same season which she won Big Green Egg Open defeating Nicole Broch Estrup & Lydia Hall by a shot at Hilvershumsche in The Netherlands. Trichat would go on to play on LPGA Tour and would struggle with life in the US  admitting that she lost her swing in the process. Last event in Shenzhen for Aramco China Championship would see Cheenglab finish 2nd which would help get her into the season finale in Malaga where she currently leads by 7 after 36 holes.  Lauren Holmey a recent guest of the podcast is 4 time winner this year on Santander Golf Tour in Avila, Girona, La Coruna & Sevilla to finish top in the Order of Merit standings which got her an invite into this weeks event at Guadalhorce. Lauren gives me an honest assessment of her game this week ahead of the crucial final stage Q School in Morocco in her bid to get back onto Ladies European Tour. I was joined by 2x title winner in 2025 Thalia Martin who joined to discuss her good form this year which has seen the talented English player win ABSA Ladies Invitational on Sunshine Ladies Tour & Madaef Golfs Ladies Open on LET Access Series in April while also on the LET she would manage to have a career best 4th placed finish at Hills Open in Sweden. Thalia was born in Banda Aceh in Indonesia before moving to England at an early age and is attached to Peterborough Milton Golf Club. Thalia would start playing the game at 12 years old with her father. At Myerscough College would see success with 2x BUCS Championships (2019 BUCS Northern Tournament & 2020 BUCS Exeter Invitational) and also won the Northamptonshire Ladies County Championship. Thalia would also finish T10th at R&A Women's Amateur Championship.  Turning pro in 2021 Thalia would grind away on LET Access Series starting off great with T5th at Golf Flanders LETAS Trophy & T3rd at Roma Alps LETAS Open as well as an invitation to ISPS Handa World Invitational at Galgorm Castle. In 2022 Thalia would make 16 starts on Ladies European Tour making 10 cuts in the process including 14th at NSW Open in Australia & 22nd at Aramco Series London individually. 2023 would see 7 Top 25 finishes but unfortunately the sad passing of her father had an effect on her year as Thalia bravely opens up about the aftermath of a horrendous event. 2024 would be a struggle on LET but the shining light of that season was a 7th at Lacoste Ladies Open DE France.  2025 has been the making of this talented player winning for the first time in her pro career in an emotional victory in South Africa followed by win on the LETAS at Madaef Golfs Open at -2 defeating Charlotte Heath for the title. Mixing both LET & LETAS starts this year has been a great learning experience which was culminate in a 4th at Hills Open in Sweden. Thalia would finish this season 88th on LET Order of Merit standings missing out on Andalucia Open de Espana by 7 places.  I want to thank Thalia for the courage to speak so openly about some of the struggles I know it wasn't easy! Stacy has held her Tour card on LET since 2007 so is into her 18th season on tour without losing her card that is massively impressive achievement and longevity!  This was a mixture of serious golf chat in with some very funny moments including learning about her being a Black Belt in Karate and Stacy's karaoke song of choice. Scottie Scheffler proved again why he is the number one player in the world as he pulled away from the field on the back nine Sunday to win his third major at Quail Hollow. The win is his first major outside the Masters and his 2nd win of the 2025 season. Jon Rahm made a charge on Sunday, but ultimately fell apart on the "Green Mile" to finish his round, allowing Scheffler to cruise to victory. We will discuss all things PGA Championship on this episode, including Bryson DeChambeau's iron play, mud balls, Rory's disappointing week, Blockie, driver testing and more. Besides the PGA Championship, podcast favorite Mimi Rhodes won for the 3rd time in 4 starts and now has a commanding lead in the Ladies European Tour order of merit. The podcast guys are about to compete in a one-man scramble this upcoming weekend and we will talk about what that entails and how to survive all those swings. In this episode I was joined by Mexican pro Fernanda Lira who has joined from back in Mexico City ahead of a sponsors invite into this week's Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba, the first Mexican event on LPGA Tour in over 8 years. We talk about how prestigious the Mexican events are for the likes of Fernanda, Gaby Lopez, Maria Fassi & Isabella Fierro and the lasting impact of LPGA legend and former World Number 1 player Lorena Ochoa has had on the development for future Mexican players.  Fernanda is from Mexico City and started playing the game at about 6 years old due to the old Mario Golf game along with her brother and went to University of Central Arkansas winning events at college level at UoCA and was Freshman of the Year in her time there where she would also meet her now husband Ryan Shuttleworth who caddies on the LET with Alexandra Swayne currently. Fun fact Fernanda adopted a street dog called Poncho. Fernanda turned Pro in 2019 and would win in 2020 on Women's All Pro Tour at Crown Colony Challenge and would also win on WAPT in 2021 at Mountain Ranch Championship. Fernanda's biggest triumph would be winning 2021 Firekeepers Casino Hotel Championship in Michigan on Epson Tour defeating Isi Gabsa, Sophia Schubert, Danielle Iacobelli & a certain 2x Major Champion and former best player in the world Lilia Vu by a whopping 6 shots. At the end of 2023 Fer would finish T5th at LET Final Q School to gain status for 2024 where she had her Rookie season on Ladies European Tour with best finishes of T22nd at KPMG Women's Irish Open, T32nd at Lacoste Ladies Open de France and T33rd at Amundi German Masters.  Fernanda not only plays this week in Mexico on a sponsors invite but she also got a sponsors invitation to play the next LET event at Tenerife Open in 2 weeks time at Abama Golf.  Download & Like/Subscribe via Podbean, Apple Podcasts & Spotify. Thank you Fernanda all the best for 2025.

In another player interview I was joined by Ladies European Tour pro and the very talented Moa Folke who called in from back home in Tranås, Sweden before flying out to South Korea for Aramco Series Korea then the European swing in the summer. Tranås is also where Kajsa Arwefjäll was originally brought up.  A representative of Landeryds Golfklubb, Moa would go to Murray State University in Kentucky where she would be a 4x Ohio Valley Conference 1st team selection as part of Murray State Racers and was named Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year for 2017 whilst also competing at NCAA Championships twice.  Moa would turn pro in 2018 and would win on Swedish Golf Tour in 2019 at Tegelberga Open defeating Linn Grant & Emma Svensson by a whopping 6 shots. At the end of 2021.   Moa would gain her LET Card at Final Q School for the 2022 season and at Dromoland Castle for KPMG Women's Irish Open Moa would be the 36 hole leader after shooting at -10 62 on Friday. In 2023 in the Sunshine Ladies Tour Folke would win Dimension Data Ladies Pro-Am at -8 by 3 shots to Annelise Caudal, that would set up for a good run on LET with 2 runner ups at Joburg Ladies Open and Lacoste Ladies Open de France as well as T9th at KPMG Women's Irish Open. In 2024 by Moa"s own admission was worse as she admitted trying to force things after a good 2023 ultimately leading to finishing 38th on LET Order of Merit. In 2025 it's been a solid start for Moa as she would post a respectable T14th at PIF Saudi Ladies Intl in a high quality field, was in contention at Australian Women's Classic before unfortunately a final round 77 propelled her to T27th then T5th at Ford NSW Open in Woollongong. She currently sits in 21st on LET Order of Merit standings and with a big European run coming up hopefully we will see Moa challenging more often. Great player even better person. Lovely and down to earth.    Download via Podbean, Apple & Spotify and be sure to like and subscribe. Thanks
