This is a simple technique that will help us to quiet the mind and release any unwanted emotions and thoughts at this time. We allow the mind to settle on the breath giving it focus and bring ourselves into presence. We arrive to place where we are comfortable, the spine long and straight the body relaxed. How to Clear your Mind Meditation (8 minutes)This meditation will help to clear the mind of unwanted thoughts and clear our mind!We begin the meditation either lying or seated! Allowing yourself the time to relax and settle so you can receive the words that guide you through the meditation. As we settle the body we allow the mind to soften onto the breath! All the awareness rests on the breath as it comes in and as it goes out! We watch the breath, explore the breath and its movement! After some time the mind may become more relaxed and you may become aware of a pause at the end of exhale and at the top of the inhale. When you feel fully calm from following the breath we move the awareness of the meditation to the body: feeling the body and guiding the breath into any areas of the body that needs to relax a little more! We then explore our thoughts from a distance, noticing our thought patters, learning our patterns and becoming aware of thoughts from a distant! Third Eye - Heart Connection Hi Friends, Welcome to this short relaxation. We use this relaxation to arrive back, but it can be done seated to an intention we wish to reaffirm. We then arrive down onto the floor, allowing to let go into the support as much as we can be held by the earth beneath. I guide you through a short relaxation arriving at the third eye between the eyebrows. We allow awareness and connection to take place between the third eye and the heart. In this beginner's Yin Yoga we have shorter holds to get familiar with the Yin Yoga practice. We move into each Yin pose with all our attention and a connection with the breath. As a complete beginner to Yin Yoga, get familiar with the style and allowing yourself patience when arriving at each posture. We try and resist coming out of the pose to work into deep tissue. Yin Yoga is different from other styles because we relax and surrender in the postures allowing the time we spend in the Yin pose to soften us layer by layer. If you experience any burning or pain, you must come out, but otherwise, see if you can move through the ache that can arise from holding our Yin poses. I hope you enjoy it. I use a bolster that would be perfect for this session, and two blocks - BUT bed pillows are fine, and books instead if you don't have these props handy. This mindfulness restorative Yoga session is exactly as it says in the title. We will move with mindfulness, and I have chosen restorative Yoga postures that allow the body to be supported creating inner peace. We move gently out of the fight and flight and enter rest and digest where inner peace and healing can take place mentally and physically. Welcome to this beautiful cellular breathing relaxation. This relaxation explored the power of your breath, which carries in with it the Prana/life force. The relaxation will help to nourish and heal your body deeply. We begin this session by moving through the body with breath awareness at specific areas to gain focus and a deeper surrender into the body and mind. This video requires you to have experience with the headstand already. We take all the weight onto the head, so the neck needs to be already strong and ready to attempt this pose. We use the arms to support the balance and come onto the head. Please make sure you have checked all precautions and prohibitions before trying this posture. I would HIGHLY recommend doing my headstand for beginners tutorial video below before doing this headstand without wall support and arm/hand support. In this tutorial, I share with you a way you can use the blocks to support you during attempting crow pose also known as Bakasana. This is just one way! Kindness Relaxation We will settle the body into relaxation. Allow the body to be fully relaxed. Use any props that may be helpful to find comfort. We will begin with the sound of the bell, and we will finish with the sound of the bell. I will guide you through the body; we will relax the body entirely. We will use the breath to help us to drop deeper into relaxation. When the body is fully relaxed, we will move then through a visualisation where we will plant our own personal garden.
