What's interesting is the actor name that he is posing as a photo double for. His casting indicates that Mr. Townsend is acting as a photo double on that production for the iconic 80s actor: Bill Murray. Murray's role at this time, however, is currently undisclosed. Announced back in December, Armor Wars will adapt the popular Marvel Comics story with a twist: Iron Man won't be part of it. Instead, the series will explore the Armored Avenger's best friend and sidekick.   "Well, I think that the most exciting part is yet to come," Cheadle said. "I think we don't really have a super-strong idea of who he is really outside of that, sort of, bubble of the Avengers. Out of necessarily his friendship with Tony. And now he's going to kind of be untethered from all of that. So it's an opportunity to really discover who he is in a way that we have not had before; with concentrated time and focus on Rhodey and Rhodey's journey, and with, hopefully, some stuff about his past. Now that Tony’s gone from the MCU, let’s look at some of his possible replacements, specifically those who have already done so in the comics. It’s the third installment of “The Replacements,” which previously covered those who have replaced Captain America and Superman. This time, we look at the history of those who have taken up the Armored Avenger’s mantle.

To celebrate the release of Endgame this month we're diving into the character that launched the MCU: Tony Stark aka Iron Man. Tony Stark is an interesting character for Marvel. On face value he might seem like Marvel's attempt to duplicate Bruce Wayne. A rich playboy during the day who fights crime at night. The difference is, Tony Stark is the more interesting identity between Tony & Iron Man. A lot of early Iron Man villains are really Tony Stark villains who cross paths with Iron Man because Tony hides his true identity as Iron Man by claiming the Armored Avenger is just his body guard. It's what makes early Iron Man issues very interesting in seeing Tony struggle with the dual identities and wanting to just be Tony Stark.
