Marvel's The Thunderbolts is finally here... and it's somehow even worse than we imagined. In this episode, we rip into The Thunderbolts — a movie so painfully dumb, so shamelessly pandering, and so lazily written it makes Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania look like The Godfather. The writing is bad. The direction is worse. And the performances — even from talented actors like Florence Pugh — are buried under layers of cringe-worthy Marvel nonsense. This is peak Disney formula at its most hollow. If you're exhausted by the MCU, Thunderbolts is the final nail in the coffin. This week's episode we take another look at the film “Wicked: Part One” as it celebrates finally having made more money than “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” at the box office. Movie Synopsis: When a group of friends recklessly violates the sacred rule of Tarot readings, they unknowingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped within the cursed cards. One by one, they come face to face with fate and end up in a race against death. __________________________________________________ Felix is such a badass and cool individual! This guy played the two creepiest Tarot characters in the movie. It's no wonder why this talented stuntman was chosen; performing stunts in notable movies such as: Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023), The Batman (2022), Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019), Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019), and Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015) – just to name a few. We discussed how he was chosen for these particular roles, and it seems that the casting director has chosen the right person for the jobs. I cannot imagine what rehearsing on set must have been like, pretty tough, I imagine. However, I am thoroughly impressed with his story about that Jackie Chan plays an integral part of if his career, and no one on this planet can argue that Jackie Chan is awesome. Role models should always be mentioned in someone's stories! Hands down, I loved the movie! Stunt performers are under-appreciated, and they definitely deserve more respect than the world gives them. In my opinion, stunt performers are the backbone of the movie. So I am hoping that Felix wins an award for this role, he most definitely deserves one!

Today we're exploring the quantum realm in our review of Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania (2023). With a brand new world filled with a load of new characters, this film had a lot happening, yet was pretty boring. And everything being 90 percent CGI didn't help it's case. In this episode,  we have a good time determining who the real star of the movie is and reimagining who should have been the main villain. Plus we discuss Kang the Conqueror and his future in the MCU given recent events.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was the bite-sized hero's attempt to elevate the stakes of his solo outings. With Kang—the MCU's big bad in waiting—as the film's central villain, it was meant to serve as a narrative intro for the next Avengers team up. Alas, that appears like it is not to be. Even before Jonathan Majors, the actor portraying Kang, ran afoul with the law, Quantumania's poor reviews and lagging box office flashed warning bells for Marvel.  Yes, it did earn $476.1 million at the box office, but that was down from the original's $518.9 million and its precursor's $623.1 million. Worse, Quantumania's 46% on Rotten Tomatoes is one of the worst scores the MCU has ever received. That critical drubbing is mostly deserved. Quantumania is an overlong and muddled CGI stew of half-baked ideas. It's never thrilling, rarely funny, and squanders its opportunity to make audiences dread what Kang will do to the newest Avengers. Instead, the dude couldn't even topple their tiniest hero. So much for that Dynasty of his. Now, sit back, take a bite out of a Space Lettuce Double IPA from Monday Night Brewing, and lookout for the little guy! Jonathan Majors has been acting professionally for about seven years now. He's done theater, TV, and starred in movies. In that short amount of time, he's become one of the most captivating performers in Hollywood. On screen, Jonathan is charismatic and charming when the role calls for it, and he can turn to vulnerable and broken almost instantly. He's the kind of actor that just takes the story to the next level. When I talked with Jonathan Majors in 2021, he was up for an Emmy for his work on HBO's Lovecraft Country. He's gone on to some massive films like Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and most recently, Creed III. Jonathan joined us on Bullseye to talk about Lovecraft Country, and reflected on being the child in a family of veterans.
