Rick Warzywak is the founder and director of Transformation MI, whose mission it is to connect Michigan's 83 counties in day and night prayer. As one way of accomplishing this goal, Rick hosts a nightly prayer call that began on November 4, 2020 and continues to the present time bringing literally hundreds together nightly at 9PM EST. Believe it or not, this call has been going on for over 1420 nights in a row! Rick also hosts prayer at the MI State capitol the Last Thursday of each month at 10AM in Room 426, as he and those in attendance pray for those in authority consistent with I Timothy 2. In the past, Rick was also an open-air preacher on various university campuses for more than 20 years, debating and contending with atheists, agnostics, liberal professors, witches, occultists, Muslims, and other young people whose faith had been shipwrecked. Rick believes a "Great Awakening" is underway in our nation and we are in a season of time where God is now preparing the way. His website is TransformMI.com. In this podcast, Rick talks about how he got involved in open air preaching at Michigan's universities, a ministry that he did for over 20 years and the lives God impacted as a result. Rick also talks about a major stroke he recently had that could easily have ended his ministry and even his life altogether. But God used that stroke to tell Rick he needed to forgive many people who had offended him in his past. When he forgave, God wonderfully healed him! His healing allowed Rick to continue sharing his faith in various ways, including through the publication of an 80 page booklet entitled, “The Bible IS True.” Rick is now joyfully giving copies of this book away for anyone who asks for one. His heart's desire is that all of us Christ-followers courageously and lovingly share our faith, using his book, our testimonies, and whatever else to draw people to Jesus so that the Spiritual Awakening we have been praying for grows very large. Bottom line as you will see from this podcast, Rick remains on fire for Jesus!

2 Peter 1:12-21 | Jesus is the Messiah and Your Bible is True by Calvary Chapel Lynchburg
Questions about whether it's circular reasoning to say the Bible is true because God says it's true, how we can know when sarcasm or some other relevant tone is being used in the Bible, and whether tithing results in God's faithful provision and financial blessings. Is it circular reasoning to say the Bible is true because God says it's true (in the Bible)? How can we accurately read stories like 2 Chronicles 18:12–16, where it seems as if Micaiah was using sarcasm? How do we know when there is an important tone in play? Is it biblical for someone to say, “I'm so thankful for tithing and knowing God faithfully meets our needs because of our faithfulness”? Does the pouring out of blessings from Heaven when we test God with the tithe, spoken of in Malachi 3:10, refer to financial blessings?
Doubts. We all have them, especially when it comes to our faith. But how do we navigate them? And how do we begin to learn what is true and what isn't? On this episode of Everyday Theology, Brandon talks to us about doubt, how to wrestle through it, and experience God in the midst of it. Jesus taught that the Bible is the word of God, so it is true. If this is the case then anything that opposes the teachings of the Bible has to be false. Hell is a relic from a fear-based, fire-and-brimstone age, a cruel tool used by church authorities to maintain power and control. So why did Jesus himself mention it so much? Why is he the number-one user of the word “hell” in the entire Bible? Why was he unembarrassed to talk about fire, darkness, and eternal death? Modern Christians need to know Christ's answers. Jesus. The Bible is all about Him. The Bible has prophesied His coming all that way back in Genesis. We are told what He will do to Satan. We are told what tribe He would come from. We see genealogies in Matthew that prove the Bible is 100% accurate. So, if that is true – we need to take the Bible seriously because it is prophesied that Jesus will come back again to set this world right. Join us today as Joel Richardson explains why prophecy is a great way to share our faith.

Theologian Brad East joins Kaitlyn to answer a really important question we have probably all asked: how do we know that the Bible is true? Dr. East also answers questions we might not think to ask but that are also really important: What is the Bible? How did we get it? How are we supposed to read it? We learn three analogies for understanding what the Bible is, some guidelines for how to read it well, and some encouragement to stay curious about passages that are confusing or challenging.
There are a large number of Christians questioning various aspects of their faith. Can the Bible hold up to deconstruction?
I Can't Believe That … the Bible is true | Part 3
This past Sunday, we explored the first two of our five core values at Hope Church: We live like the Bible is True and that the Gospel Changes Us. While many people have various ways of understanding the Bible and its role in the Christian life, at Hope Church, we believe that the Bible is a unified story that leads to Jesus. And as we explore that story (Creation, Fall, Israel, Jesus, New Creation), we uncover good news or “gospel” that has transformed lives and communities all over the world. Support the show

The sermon challenges us to critically assess our beliefs in the Bible's truth, rejecting simplistic reasons like upbringing our personal experience. Instead, it presents a compelling argument for the Bible's reliability, citing its composition by eyewitnesses during their lifetimes, reporting of supernatural events, and fulfillment of specific prophecies. By urging us to base our faith on solid evidence rather than tradition or subjective experiences, the sermon aims to strengthen our confidence in the Bible's divine authority and message.

Do you consider yourself an evangelical Christian, do you? If so, then you should understand the definition of an evangelical and you should define in full, clearly, and factually, what it is you believe, the real biblical definition of an evangelical Christian. That is critical; for as our beloved Bible states so clearly, we should always be ready to give a reason for the faith, a full explanation, clear and understandable as to exactly:WHAT WE BELIEVEIN WHOM WE BELIEVEWHYGeorge Barna, the respected pollster, himself a biblical evangelical, has defined what he considers to be the definition, THE PILLARS of evangelical faith and consequently a strong and solid definition of a real biblical evangelical. These seven cornerstones of an evangelical and one who holds a biblical worldview are as follows.1.GOD IS THE ETERNAL, OMNISCIENT, OMNIPOTENT AND JUST CREATOR. God therefore is eternal, always was, is, and always will be. The God we love and serve is without beginning or ending. Our God the Father is the great I AM. God knows all (omniscient). God is all powerful (omnipotent). God is just, a God of justice with clear rules and standards. Do you believe that? Do you believe those four things about our GOD THE FATHER of our Lord Jesus Christ? Do you?2.HUMAN BEINGS (ALL OF US) ARE SINFUL BY NATURE. From the beginning, the Garden of Eden, man and woman were of a sinful nature. We as human beings can not help but sin because of our sinful nature. Do you believe that? Do you think that is an essential component (pillar) of true biblical evangelical faith, do you?3.JESUS CHRIST GRANTS FORGIVENESS OF SIN AND ETERNAL LIFE WHEN SINNERS REPENT AND PROFESS THEIR FAITH IN HIM ALONE (ALONE). Our Lord Jesus Christ is the answer to sin, the ultimate forgiver of sin, and the granter of eternal life through belief in Him. All such happens when sinners repent (have you?) and profess their faith:IN HIM ALONE.Not of works, lest any man should boast, or a church, or a religion, or a denomination, but:IN HIM ALONE.Do you believe that? Have you sincerely repented and fully been granted the forgiveness of sin and eternal life through Jesus Christ THE LORD, have you?4.THE BIBLE IS TRUE, RELIABLE, AND ALWAYS RELEVANT. The Bible, our Bible, all 66 books, 39 Old Testament and 27 New Testament, are inspired, infallible, true in every way, and the only ultimate guide in life in the pursuit of that life and truth. Do you believe that? Do you believe it is reliable, a guide, a source, and always relevant, meaningful, current to the day, not subject to interpretation but stand-alone, do you believe that, do you?5.ABSOLUTE MORAL TRUTH EXISTS. And, that truth is defined by the Bible, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, that essential part of the triune God, the Trinity. Do you believe that there is such a thing as absolute moral truth, do you? And, do you believe that such an absolute moral truth is in fact clearly defined by our beloved Bible, the gift of God the Father to us, do you? Do you believe that our Bible is the absolute and ultimate standard for:RIGHT AND WRONG.Do you? True evangelicals, says George Barna, do just that. Again, do you?6.SUCCESS IS DEFINED AS CONSISTENT OBEDIENCE TO GOD. Obeying God through scripture, commandments, standards, and a clear definition of right and wrong is essential for every true Bible-believing evangelical. Do you believe that obedience to God in every aspect of your life is necessary, a matter of ultimate truth and the hallmark, the cornerstone of every true Bible-believing evangelical, do you?7.LIFE'S PURPOSE IS TO KNOW, LOVE, AND SERVE GOD WITH ALL OUR HEART, SOUL, MIND, AND STRENGTH. Do you know all you should know about the eternal God, God the Father, in order to have the fullest faith possible? Do you love God with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength, do you as every true Bible-believing evangelical should, do you? And, to the best of your ability, do you serve our God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with all of your heart, mind, strength, and soul, to the very best of your ability and with the strength and power of the Holy Spirit, do you as every true Bible-believing evangelical would, do you?Of course, there is more to the definition of a true Bible-believing Christian, and even more to a true modern-day evangelical, much more in those 66 God-given books, MUCH, MUCH MORE! But these seven points, says pollster George Barna, are the cornerstones of a real Bible-believing evangelical and a true Christian who sees the world and the life we live through the lens of scripture (Franklin Graham) and possesses at all times a biblical worldview. Do you believe that, do you?So then, the task of every Christian is to grow in faith, the knowledge and wisdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. The life's task of every real true evangelical Bible-believing born-again forgiven Christian is to constantly define and redefine the faith, to learn more about it, to be able to give different and better reasons for that faith, to be proud and unashamed of that faith, and when opportunities arise, present that faith in the very best way possible. And, to live out that faith, to serve the Lord God Almighty, our whole life long. Do you believe that, and do you live that way, do you? That, says George Barna, Franklin Graham, and all true evangelical Christians and scholars is the definition of a real evangelical who knows that Jesus Christ and HIM ALONE is:THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE.I pray that is what you believe and who you are.

Welcome to the fourth episode in the Why Believe the Bible series taught by my awesome dad Harry Schaefer. The underlying premise of this Why Believe the Bible series is that we can verify the truth of the Bible by looking to outside sources such as the historical record to see if what's in the historical record aligns with scripture. And we find that it does. In episodes 23, 24, and 25, we looked at ways prophetic prophecies and archeological findings prove the Bible is true. Today, we'll look into an interesting outside source by exploring the realm of medicine. To explain, I'm handing the microphone to my dad as he continues to teach from his dining room table. Whether you are a follower of Jesus or not, at some point, you have probably wondered, "Is the Bible true?" Is it just some historical book, and are the things written in it really what God says? “Yes, The Bible Is True…Here's The Proof!” www.PastorTodd.org www.ToddCoconato.com/give www.RRCNashville.org www.PastorToddbook.com Biblical scholars and many Christians believe that the Bible is the word of God based on several lines of evidence, including historical, textual, and theological aspects. While it's important to note that this is a matter of faith, here are some arguments that support this belief: 1. **Historical Accuracy**: The Bible contains numerous historical accounts that align with archaeological and historical findings. For example, events like the reign of specific kings, battles, and the existence of certain cities have been corroborated by archaeological evidence, lending credibility to the Bible's historical accuracy. 2. **Fulfillment of Prophecies**: The Bible contains many prophecies, and some have been fulfilled in a remarkably accurate manner. For example, the Old Testament contains numerous prophecies about the coming of the Messiah, which Christians believe were fulfilled in the person of Jesus Christ. This suggests a divine source of knowledge. 3. **Consistency Across Texts**: Despite being written by multiple authors over centuries, the Bible maintains a consistent theological message. This continuity suggests divine inspiration guiding the authors. 4. **Transformational Impact**: The Bible has had a profound impact on individuals, cultures, and societies throughout history. Its teachings have shaped moral and ethical systems and have inspired countless people to live virtuous lives. 5. **The Dead Sea Scrolls**: The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in the mid-20th century is significant for biblical scholarship. These ancient manuscripts included copies of the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) dating back to around the time of Jesus. The remarkable similarity between these scrolls and later biblical texts suggests that the content of the Bible has been preserved with a high degree of accuracy over time. For evidence from the Bible itself regarding its divine origin and preservation, consider the following passages: - **2 Timothy 3:16-17**: "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." This verse suggests that the Bible is divinely inspired. - **Isaiah 40:8**: "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever." This verse emphasizes the enduring nature of God's word. - **Psalm 119:160**: "Your word is true from the beginning: and every one of your righteous judgments endures forever." This verse underscores the truth and enduring quality of God's word. In summary, biblical scholars and Christians argue that the Bible is the word of God based on historical accuracy, fulfillment of prophecies, theological consistency, its transformative impact, and the preservation of texts like the Dead Sea Scrolls. We absolutly believe that the Bible is in fact the word of God!
Pastor Dino Rizzo begins the What We Believe series by exploring the transformative power of God's word through key verses like 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:19-21, John 1:1-5,14, Hebrews 4:12, and Psalm 1:1-3. He explains the importance of reading, reviewing, and reflecting on God's Word. He concludes that the Bible provides direction, protection, correction, and a solid foundation, leading to the central message that God's Word should be our ultimate authority.
We live in a world that increasingly disregards the Bible and scoffs at claims that it is the inerrant Word of God. As Christians, then, how do we answer those who challenge our faith in this book? In this week's message from 2 Peter 1, Pastor Curtis shows us what the Bible is and isn't, and gives us compelling evidence for why we can stake our lives—and, ultimately, our eternities—on the truths of Scripture.
