Assita Toure, Staff Litigation Counsel for Florida. Assita Toure has been practicing since 2019 with prior experience handling casualty, product liability, premises liability, trucking litigation cases and criminal matters. Assita began her career as an Assistant Public Defender for the 13th Circuit Office of the Public Defender's office where she represented adults and juveniles accused of committing misdemeanor and felony offenses. After leaving the Public Defender's office, Assita transitioned to a regional insurance defense firm in Tampa, Florida where she represented corporations and small businesses in claims arising from a variety of trucking accidents including wrongful death actions, vehicle/ pedestrian and multiple vehicle collisions. Duane M. Harley, Esq. is an entertainment attorney specializing in contract transactions. Duane Harley graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, CT in 1999. She is from Houston, Texas, and will be completing her first year there remotely. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and worked at a legal technology company after undergrad. Loretta McNary Live is a weekly call in live radio show featuring interviews with celebrities, thought leaders, industry experts and unsung heroes. Attorney Victoria Washington is our guest today. Armed with her bachelor's degree, she began her Master’s program at Belhaven University while teaching 6th and 7th grade Language Arts at Chastain Middle School. Ms. Washington served as the head coach of the Girl’s Basketball team and assistant coach of the Volleyball team. But after her second year of teaching in the Jackson Public School District and interning with the Committee on Homeland Security in Washington, D.C., she decided to pursue her dreams. She was accepted to The University of Mississippi School of Law in Oxford, MS in 2011. While there she served as a chairman in the Black Law Student Association, was a member of the Dean’s Leadership Council, and held as the winner and semi-finalist in several Moot Court and Trial Advocacy Competitions. After law school, she began working at Sparkman, Zummach, & Perry, then served as a law clerk in the Sixth Circuit Court Judicial District; and thereafter, worked at Perry Griffin, P.C. in Southaven, Mississippi. In January 2018, she fulfilled her lifelong dream of starting her own law firm, The Washington Law Firm, PLLC in Southaven, MS. She has had the opportunity to travel to France, Spain, Mexico, England, and the Netherlands while studying Spanish and International Law. Her dreams are to finish writing her first book and use her talents to uplift those who struggle to uplift themselves. She’s currently a member of All Nations Worship Assembly (ANWA) in Memphis, TN under the leadership of Pastor Brandon Clack. She says: “Sometimes God will force you into an uncomfortable place to reach the next phase of your life. Trust his process and timing, because often times our plans aren’t on God’s calendar.”
Tyrese Alleyne-Davis is currently a graduating senior at the Henry Viscardi School in Long Island, NY. He has triplegic cerebral palsy which requires him to use a wheelchair. For the past 10 years, he has been a public speaker, giving keynote addresses for many children's organizations such as the Starlight Children's Foundation, S.K.I.P. of NY, New Alternatives for Children, and INCLUDEnyc. Earlier this year, he had the distinct pleasure of addressing legislators in Albany, NY advocating for 4201 State Funded Schools. Additionally, Tyrese has had the opportunity to address the Black Law Student Association at Harvard Law School and speak at Columbia University's Disability Caucus. Last summer, Tyrese was one of twenty high school students chosen out of 500 applicants to intern at the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office. Academically, Tyrese has soared, being inducted into the National Juniors Honor Society and receiving multiple college scholarships from CACNY, The Options Center, and the Henry Viscardi School. In the fall, he will be attending NYU on a full scholarship and intends to study communications and sociology. Tyrese has dreams of becoming an advocacy lawyer, concentrating on elevating the rights of the disabled community.

In addition to his studies and community work, Michael handles family law cases as a certified legal intern, volunteers as a teaching assistant for criminal justice courses at Florida A&M University, and serves as a consultant for a local jazz music venue. Michael is also an accomplished trumpeter who has toured nationally and internationally performing at some of the worlds premier music venues and festivals. Michael hopes to work in a small to medium sized general practice firm where he can practice law while continuing to cultivate his other passions.
