This is partly due to the amount of debate the podcast panel each week! However, we have also been pleasantly surprised by some of the albums we have reviewed from the Rolling Stone Top 100 list, and have voted some on I'm sure we all didn't expect to! El mundo de la música anglo se estremeció en 1988, con la llegada del dúo Milli Vanilli, quienes de inmediato se anotaron un número 1 con su canción debut “Girl, you know it's true” (Chica, sabes que es verdadero) lanzado en 1988. Así la escuché yo… “Girl, you know it's true” de Milli Vanilli es en realidad un “cover” o una nueva versión de la canción que lanzara un año antes la agrupación estadounidense Numarx en 1987. Cabe destacar que el productor de Milli Vanilli fue Frank Farian quien quiso repetir la fórmula que le dio éxito con Bobby Farrell (el supuesto vocalista de Boney M) y puso también a realizar fonomímica a Fabrice Morvan y a Rob Pilatus, con tan mala fortuna que fueron descubiertos en su doblaje, lo que prácticamente acabó con la carrera musical del dúo, hasta finalmente concluir en el suicidio de Rob Pilatus diez años después en 1998. Su vida,su obra,sus inicios que fueron de lo mas raro,su representante alemán Frank Farian que fue un hombre polémico y con una vida también llena de escándalos!
