Tim Shearcroft,  CEO and Co-Founder of BP Silver Corp. (TSXV: BPAG), joins me for a review of the results from the first two drill holes of its initial eleven-hole Phase I drill program at the Cosuño Silver Project, located in the prolific Bolivian silver belt. Additionally, the Company is working on finalizing the title at their Titiri Project, located in a major under-explored silver belt with Tier 1 discovery potential.   The Phase I drill program tested four initial targets in the southern portion of Cosuño, selected as initial targets because they were outcropping, in an area that is covered by surficial overburden.  Drill Holes CO-0001 and CO-0002 were drilled in the Jalsuri target, a northwest-southeast trending ridge formed by a prominent mineralized structure.  These results validated that the lithocap at Cosuño is mineralized with precious metals and base metals.   CO-0001 intercepted 62 meters of 56.96 silver equivalent (AgEq), including 29 meters of 80 AgEq, and 4 meters of 150 AgEq CO-0002 intercepted 33 meters of 62.86 silver equivalent (AgEq), including 3 meters of 124.95 AgEq   The remaining 9 holes from Phase I will have more holes returned from the Jalsuri, Benhur, Pocalleta, and Pocañita Chica target areas.   We also discussed the potential for future drilling at the other portion of Jalsuri, and the Pocañita Grande targets.   We discuss the prospectivity of Bolivia for mineral exploration and exploitation, the handful of companies that have made solid advancements on their projects in country, and how the political administration has recently changed to become more amenable to foreign business investment and mineral extraction.   Additionally, their team is working with the government to finalize obtaining the title to begin exploration on their Titiri Project.   Titiri was staked over a large land concession containing outcropping mineralization historically explored by ASARCO.  This Project contains a 2.5km-long silver-lead-zinc zone, with excellent historical trench results, that was never drilled. La película La chica zurda nace de una idea gestada en 2001 entre su directora y Sean Baker, inspirada en un recuerdo personal sobre el estigma de usar la mano izquierda, tradicionalmente considerada la "mano del diablo" en algunas culturas. Visualmente, el filme apuesta por una inmersión total al situar la cámara a la altura de los ojos de la niña protagonista, permitiendo al espectador recorrer el mercado nocturno de Taipei desde su propia mirada. Técnicamente, la obra destaca por haber sido rodada íntegramente con un iPhone en 4K utilizando la aplicación Filmic Pro, lo que le otorga un estilo cercano al realismo documental. Este enfoque, sumado a un equipo de rodaje muy reducido, permitió capturar la esencia vibrante de Taiwán con una agilidad que las cámaras profesionales convencionales no siempre permiten, manteniendo una alta calidad en la gradación de color y posproducción. En cuanto a su narrativa, la cinta explora la relación entre una madre y sus hijas sin caer en idealismos, reflejando una dinámica familiar donde el afecto se demuestra con acciones más que con palabras. We talk about those on this week's Access Louisville podcast. The latest (and focus of the show) is a recently unveiled plan for a J.W. Marriott at 4031 S. 4th Street (formerly known as Brown & Williamson Tower). Indianapolis-based Ghoman Group has secured franchise approval to bring a JW Marriott hotel to the 26-story structure, which is in the middle of Fourth Street Live. The company has said construction is set to begin “soon” with an opening date set for sometime in 2027. There are some unanswered questions, though, including how much that renovation would cost.Just that project would be a big win for the city. But, as we discuss the Humana Building, on Main Street, is also being eyed to be converted into a 1,000-room hotel, according to multiple sources familiar with the project. As Business First reported last month, Louisville-based Poe Cos. is in the planning stages of the project, which could include the construction of an additional tower.Two hotels in two existing towers would be huge. But as Business First falso reported in 2024, developer Zyyo is also planning to build a new 27-story, $175 million Downtown tower called One Forty West, which will feature a 300-room hotel. What are the chances that all three of these hotel projects happen? We talk about it.After a break we go over some restaurant news, including the next chapter for a Louisville classic, Soupy's; and a new steakhouse coming to Clifton, called Mill Iron 4. El colapso de la Edad del Bronce, la caída del Imperio Antiguo en Egipto o la ascendencia de los comanches como potencia militar en Norteamérica son algunos ejemplos de estos acontecimientos históricos. Pocas veces solemos caer en la cuenta de lo importante que es el clima en el curso de los acontecimientos históricos. Quizá a corto plazo no nos lo pueda parecer ya que en el curso de una vida humana rara vez cambian de forma drástica las condiciones climáticas. Pero en el largo plazo el impacto del clima sobre el curso de la historia se ha demostrado fundamental. Desde la prehistoria se han producido varios cambios climáticos de distinta envergadura y todos, sin excepción, han afectado a las comunidades humanas. Unas veces para bien, otras para mal. Los neandertales, por ejemplo, no pudieron aguantar un enfriamiento más o menos repentino del planeta y eso, junto a la irrupción del homo sapiens, les condenó a la extinción hace unos 40.000 años. Ya en tiempos históricos otro enfriamiento provocó la caída del imperio antiguo en Egipto, el mismo que había levantado las grandes pirámides de Guiza. Ese mismo fenómeno provocó que el norte de África, que en aquel entonces era verde, húmedo y se encontraba poblado, se transformase en el desierto del Sahara, el mayor del planeta. Dos mil años más tarde otro evento climático fue el causante del colapso del imperio hitita, de las migraciones indoeuropeas hacia el oeste y de la llegada de los llamados “pueblos del mar” al oriente mediterráneo, tres acontecimientos concatenados que reconfiguraron por completo el mundo antiguo. A los periodos cálidos y húmedos en los que las civilizaciones prosperaban le han seguido siempre otros de carácter frío y seco. Esos inviernos prolongados acompañados de magras cosechas y seguidos por epidemias derribaron imperios, facilitaron invasiones y cambiaron el rumbo de la historia. Ese fue el caso, por ejemplo, de la peste de Justiniano a mediados del siglo VI, provocada por la erupción casi simultánea de tres grandes volcanes en distintas partes del mundo, que tendieron un velo de cenizas en la atmósfera haciendo descender la temperatura en todo el mundo. A las erupciones le siguió la crisis agrícola y, a esta, la irrupción de la peste negra que acabó con la vida de una cuarta parte de los habitantes del imperio bizantino en unos pocos años. La influencia del clima en la historia es un campo de estudio relativamente nuevo. Hasta hace sólo unos años no se solía tener en cuenta ya que nuestros ancestros no tenían el modo de medir con precisión los parámetros climáticos del tiempo que les tocó vivir. Algo de información documental nos ha llegado, pero no es demasiada y, además, está muy fragmentada. A cambio, gracias a los avances en paleoclimatología, se está reconstruyendo de forma muy completa el clima que hubo en la Tierra en tiempos pasados, desde la prehistoria hasta que se empezaron a medir y anotar registros climáticos de forma sistemática y concienzuda ya en el siglo XIX. Hoy en La ContraHistoria tenemos a un historiador, José Soto Chica, bien conocido por los seguidores de este programa, y a un paleoclimatólogo, Francisco Jiménez Espejo, investigador del Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas. Entre ambos han alumbrado un libro excepcional, “El dios incomprendido. Mañana se estrena en Televisión Española "Voladura 76", un documental producido por Catorce en asociación con RTVE Play y que indaga en un episodio apenas contado, muy poco investigado y sobre el que aún pesa un halo de misterio que ahora se desvela. Nos visita su directora Marisa Lafuente. El programa 'Polònia' es uno de los programas más seguidos por los espectadores de TV3, se emite a las diez de la noche los jueves, realiza a un análisis de la actualidad a través de una serie de sketches. Anoche emitía un sketch en el que Franco explicaba  a los líderes de PP y Vox, Alberto Núñez Feijóo y Santiago Abascal, cómo debe ser "El chico PP" que gobierne la Comunidad Valenciana a ritmo de la "Chica ye-ye". Una canción en Países Bajos generada por inteligencia artificial, se ha popularizado por su mensaje en contra de los migrantes.
