Tony Carss is the U21 Head Coach at Aston Villa, and a UEFA Pro License coach. Tony is an ex pro who transitioned into coaching after his playing career was finished. Prior to being at Villa, he was Head of Coaching at Huddersfield Town and Blackburn Rovers.

Hello and welcome to WGBD “When God is Black and Disabled” a podcast by and with Black women of faith with disabilities, hosted by the Rev. Raedorah C. Stewart. This podcast is a space to amplify the voices and validate the experiences of Black women of faith from various streams of spirituality, in the church, and for the culture.  In doing so, we imagine the Imago Dei with disabilities as incarnate and more valuable to humanity than is cast as burdensome, accidental, or incidental to God's creative genius.  Content includes hermeneutical reflections on disability in the Bible, non-canonical, and other sacred texts; special guests with varying disabilities narrating their stories; commentaries of lament; and calls for action that the church becomes the head and not the tail of disability justice.  About the Host:  Rev. Raedorah C. The Drunken Boxing Podcast #020 My guest today is James Carss. James is currently based in England and has a lifetime of experience in the practice of martial arts. At the age of 12 he began his studies in Wing Chun. He then went on to study the south east Asian martial arts of Muay Thai and Silat while at the same time pursued an amateur boxing career. He later got involved in classical Chinese internal arts and decided to relocate to Hong Kong in 2005 to pursue his studies of Chinese martial arts. He remained there for the following 11 years and primarily studied Yi Quan under Chan Tak Chuen, who was a disciple of Han Xing Yuen and he later also to study under Hui Kit Wah, who was a disciple of Han Xing Qiao and further studied Yi Quan as well as Liu He Ba Fa Quan and Yang style Taijiquan. In 2016 returned to England where he lives and teaches today.
