Virtually every conversation we have about death is actually about life and can positively alter the way we perceive our time, the people we spend it with and our all-around life experience. If we can be more involved in the end-of-life process with loved ones, it can give us the renewal to honor life and chase unfulfilled dreams. This amazing discussion reveals that we must face our own mortality in order to live the most realized versions of ourselves.Originally aired on January 4, 2023 on KPOV's The Wednesday PointOur mission at KPOV is to strengthen community, the arts, local culture, and democracy through our independent, non-commercial radio portal. And we're back. Fresh on the heels of the mammoth Mass Effect special episode – an entry that tested the sanity of everyone involved – hosts John Miller and (returning from exile) Andrew Brooker attempt to return to some kind of normality with very little in the way of success.   Getting into the biggest news of the week straight away, the dynamic duo get into the newly released specs for Microsofts latest (but as yet unnamed) console: Project Scorpio. Demonstrating little-to-no understanding of technical lingo, the guys try to make it sound like they know what they're talking about and pass judgement on the use of the word TeraFlop. A brief chat about the closure of controller maker Mad Catz wraps up our news. Things get back to normal when the pair get into this week's What We've Been Playing. Pledging to play something new for this week's episode, Brooker dives in to legendary game director David Jaffe's latest creation, multiplayer shooter Drawn To Death. He also spends a bit of time with Wildlands, the latest entry in the Ghost Recon franchise; and ponders on the point of yet another Ghost Recon short film. John continues his journey not only through Mass Effect: Andromeda, but also to try and explain his favourite franchise to his co-host – with an unexpected left turn into a chat about WWE 2K17. Join us as our regular hosts struggle to keep things on track and hit tangents that include films (not like there's a podcast just for that), Wrestlemania and calling into work sick. Shenanigans a-plenty in this week's episode. Come back next week for more. In the meantime, find us on a Twitter, Facebook and Instagramand let us know what you think of our latest episode.

Gary opens up yet again and with what else but Mass Effect: Andromeda. He has beaten the game, but has left a lot on the table. By the end of the game he found himself too overpowered. The writing and animations, however, were not so overpowered. And in a word: silly. He then moves on to Press 'X' To Not Die. It's a beautiful quick time event game. No spoilers here. A masterpiece in a different class. Check out his Let's Play of it. Gary also got the chance to play Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition and got to play as Duke Nukem'. All of the classiest of lines remain. Looks fantastic on ultra settings, but then again, why wouldn't it? Oh, and, he snuck in that he bought Witcher 3 for the PC. Ultra settings. It's his mantra at this point. Next up, Brian. Drawn To Death, a hero-based 3rd-person shooter. Takes place in a 13-year-old's notebook (hence the drawn. Get it?). It was free with PS Plus, and feels very unfinished. Justin's got Punch Club this week. A Justin game through and through.
