These deities are sometimes depicted as ridiculous because they flee the battlefield when wounded, whereas mortals must face their pain heroically. Within the Greek camp, the social structure is built around honor and "trophies," specifically enslaved women like Briseis, who are parceled out after military victories. While Briseis has a limited voice, she is shown to have a kind relationship with Patroclus, who is described as a multi-faceted character capable of both great kindness and brutal violence. Patroclus is not a "beta male" but a skilled warrior who mocks his victims as he kills them. The bond between Achilles and Patroclus is the most intimate and emotionally vulnerable relationship in the poem. Somewhere along the way, youth soccer stopped being a game kids play and became a product their parents buy. Dai Redwood has spent years building a program he believes in — most recently as the executive and sporting director at Fremont FC — and he's built a club that runs almost opposite to the rest of the country. An own goal got the scoring started for the Yanks, but Falorin Balogun bagged a brace, and Gio Reyna pitched in, as well. The USMNT dominated all stages of the game, coming out strong, controlling the pace, and breaking down a good Paraguayan defence to score - all things critics have pointed out over the last several matches. It's a great moment for the US Men and for American soccer fans. Let's keep it going!
