Knowledge, one of The Fantastic Four, is a treasure. “Discretion will guard you and Understanding will watch over you.” Discretion is the ability to make wise decisions. The Fantastic Four can be your shield, but you must acquire and learn how to use them as your FLOT line. “No testing has overtaken you but such as is common to man, and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tested beyond what you are able” (1 Cor 10:13). The greatest four things you can possess are the Fantastic Four: Wisdom - Knowledge - Discretion - Understanding. Solomon had amazing divine wisdom. You can have the same kind of wisdom if you acquire the mind of Christ by staying filled with the Holy Spirit and growing spiritually. The more you learn and apply the Word of God, the more you want to understand since it's a never-ending knowledge treasure and it enriches your spiritual life. With this treasure in your soul, you can deal with circumstances when they arise. “Discretion will preserve you and understanding will keep you” (Prov 2:11). Discretion is like a blinking light that warns of danger ahead. Discretion can preserve you from Satan's system of evil. Discernment means to use good judgment and know when to keep your mouth shut such as when you're angry, tempted to lie, straighten out a fool, or say more than you should when you don't know all the facts and many more. “The one who guards his words guards his life, but whoever is talkative will come to ruin” (Prov 13:3). Thinking controls your destiny. Wisdom is acquired not inherited. Knowledge comes through Jesus Christ. As you study the life and mind of Christ you see what your life should be. It is a mirror. How will we know if America is doomed, done for? You may not like what is happening but you don't have a right to conduct civil unrest. Don't take justice into your own hands, don't seek revenge. Leave it in God's hands. “Never take your own revenge, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay' says the Lord” (Rom 12:19). God is allowing what is happening for our good. His plan will be fulfilled. “Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God” (Rom 13:1). Do your part to restore America. Put God first. You will be wealthy by understanding the God you know. “That their hearts may be encouraged having been knit together in love and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ himself” (Col 2:2-3). This is how to be rich. You have the privilege and the opportunity to know God's playbook, to live God's playbook. It's all there in the Bible. That's why it's so important to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. "Mindfulness" has become a buzz phrase. There are books on mindful parenting, mindful lawyering, even mindful sex. But what does the word even mean? And how do you actually do it?
