This installation is in loving memory of Láwû Makuriye'nt (aka EOBIONT, Mango, half of Mirrored fatality) Moonbounce or Earth-Moon-Earth (EME) is a technology that allows sending radio signals from one location to another location on Earth, using the Moon as a natural satellite. It is like DJing with the Moon, the audio signal goes about 3 meter inside the crust of the moon before travelling back to earth picking up the Big Bang static on the way- which gives it this distorted audio, alien and eerie. Included in this playlist: the heartbeats of women in Nelly Ben Hayoun-Stépanian's Armenian family for International Women's Day; recordings from the city's streets and institutions produced by multi-instrumentalist Ayse Hassan (of Savages and Esya); and a series of original tracks from Nelly and the University of the Underground's long term collaborators: Massive Attack, The Avalanches (feat. Blood Orange), Pussy Riot, Mirrored Fatality and Moses Boyd. When we recognize that we are called “sons” and “daughters” of the Most High, we begin to understand the depth of our belonging in His family.  You are never too old to experience renewal or too far from home to find your way back. Just as the paralyzed man was lowered through the roof by his friends, sometimes we need others to lift us in faith when we feel weighed down by life's burdens. The story reminds us that community is essential; together, we can help one another discover our true identities in Christ. Remember, “Fatherhood is Beyond Bloodlines,” and our spiritual family transcends earthly ties. Galatians 6:2 says, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Remember, in the symphony of life, the shared heartbeats compose the melody of family. Heartbeats captures the essence of our connection with God and with each other. As we share love and support within our communities, we cultivate a space where healing can flourish. In Romans 8:15, we are reminded, “For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship.” Embrace this truth; you are not defined by your past but by the love and grace that surround you. In knowing our identity as children of God, we also recognize our empowerment for His purpose. God has equipped each of us with unique gifts to serve Him and those around us. So, let your actions be the brushstrokes of God's masterpiece and step boldly into the plans He has laid out for you, because "You belong here; you have a purpose that only you can fulfill." Ephesians 2:10 says, "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Prayer for the Day!Heavenly Father, thank You for calling us Your children and for the love that binds us together as a family. Help us to embrace our identities in You and to support one another on our journeys. May we be empowered to fulfill the purposes You have set before us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. Midway through a Christmas show, I collapsed on stage—cardiac arrest. Thanks to quick heroes with an AED, I'm here, recovering with a defibrillator and a grateful heart. Healing hasn't been easy, but moments like Yosemite's breathtaking Bridalveil and Yosemite Falls, a Christmas duet, and Oreo gingerbread houses brought joy through it all.
