Also would you rather the Ravens win the division at 8-8 or get a Wild Card at 11-5? Midway through Hour 1 it was great to catch up with former Navy QB/Ravens WR Keenan Reynolds to discuss his debut as a college football analyst this weekend for CBS Sports Network, whether he's still pursuing his own playing career and his thoughts on both this Navy team and Lamar Jackson. Late in Hour 1, PressBox Ravens beat writer Bo Smolka joined us-who gets the green dot now that Tony Jefferson is out? And early in Hour 1, Maryland Sports Executive Director Terry Hasseltine and world class cyclist Ben King joined us to discuss the announcement of the Maryland Cycling Classic for 2020.
Keenan Reynolds made his AFL debut in Round 2, 1990 for Footscray at the SCG vs. Sydney. He would have 12 disposals and 1 tackle in the Bulldogs big win, he played 74 games with Footscray before moving to North Melbourne in the pre-season draft, he made only nine appearances for his new team in 1995 but played in their reserves premiership. After adding just a further three games in 1996, Reynolds went to Tasmania to continue his career. He signed with the Burnie Dockers in the NTFL and played three season with the club from 1997 to 1999.

The green team (the backups) beat the blue team (the starters) 23-20 during the mock game in Bothel, Wash. Although, it sounds like it took from Pete Carroll late in the practice to make it interesting considering the starters were up 20-3 before the green team mounted their comeback effort. Coach Carroll addressed some of the things they worked through as part of their 8th day of open training camp as well as his reaction to some of the biggest moments. Russell Wilson took to the podium to talk about his trip to his grandfather's funeral and to say what he liked from two of his top targets on the day: Jacob Hollister and Keenan Reynolds. The Seahawks fall to the Colts 19-17 in the first game of the preseason, but there were some positive takeaways. Adam and Brandan offer their thoughts on the game while at Seahawks Training Camp in Renton. They primarily focus on some of the rookie performances, because that seemed to be the highlight with so many members of the latest draft class contributing in the game. The guys also discuss the performances by the quarterbacks and running backs. Monday was Military Appreciation Day at the VMAC, so Brandan gets some thoughts from some of the military members in attendance. Armando Mejia, community engagement assistant director, joins the show for a few minutes to talk about some of the efforts by the team supporting military members and former Navy quarterback Keenan Reynolds, now a wide receiver for the Seahawks, stops by to answer a few questions. Recording the second half of the show back in Montana the following day, we thank some new members of the flock and have a couple announcements to make for how we're going to approach the upcoming season. Do better calls go to anyone who has shifted from taking information via the phone to only taking information online and to the Cardinals General Manager for his offseason behavior. In our better at life segment, Adam continues his streak of RV campgrounds that he's liked and Ciara has Russell Wilson's back after a rapper suggested that her husband wasn't very cool. NCAAF Comp Pick 330 PM EST Rotation #341-342 UConn +4 over Navy Navy comes into today with 4 returning total starts on the offensive line which is good for the least amount in all of College Football. This team also took a QB from out of the stands last week because Smith went down for the year. In this triple option system you need an experienced signal caller and you need a solid offensive line that is experienced or you are going to get turnovers and penalties. This is a rebuilding year for Navy as they lost one if not the best triple option quarterbacks ever in Keenan Reynolds to graduation. UConn is always a good defensive team and has the coaching personal and talent to stop the triple option. On offense the Huskies return most of their starters from last year so I expect them to score today against smaller Navy Defenders. Take UConn.
