December 8, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 60 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into our overarching thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 14 Sunday road game against the Baltimore Ravens. We also discuss the Steelers now leading the AFC North and having their playoff chances rise significantly after beating the Ravens. In our weekly housekeeping portion of this Monday show, which is sponsored by the fine folks at TouringPlans.com, Alex and I talk about the Sunday afternoon inactive list and how it surprisingly included WR Roman Wilson. We talk about WR Adam Thielen and WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling both being active on Sunday along with WR Scotty Miller and why HC Mike Tomlin seemingly decided to go in that direction. The Steelers sustained several injuries Sunday, so we discuss what happened to TE Darnell Washington, ILB Malik Harrison, and T Andrus Peat. We also discuss the Monday morning report of WR DK Metcalf needing to stay behind in Baltimore Sunday evening because of stomach pains and how he needed to go to a hospital to get checked out. After going through the newsy items related to injuries and the Sunday inactive list, Alex and I look at what all transpired at M&T Bank Stadium against the Ravens. We first talk about the play of the Steelers' offense and how we saw the deep passing game come alive. We also discuss what a great game that QB Aaron Rodgers played against the Ravens. We make sure to highlight the great play and extra effort of Metcalf on Sunday. We also make sure to hit on the Steelers running game being poor against the Ravens and how the offense failed to move the ball any in their final three possessions, all of which came in the fourth quarter. We then discuss the Steelers' defense doing just enough to win on Sunday and how several individual efforts on that side of the football played a big part in the victory. We also discuss the Ravens offense was unable to make key plays late in the game that could have won the game for them. We go over how the Steelers run defense still has room for quite a bit of improvement after Sunday's win in Baltimore. Obviously, there were several controversial plays that happened during Sunday's game, so Alex and I go over the three huge ones, all of which went in the Steelers' favor. We go over those plays by including what was said in the media pool report interview that took place with the game's referee Alex Moore and NFL Vice President of Instant Replay Mark Butterworth. After completely breaking down the Sunday game against the Ravens, Alex and I then address the Saturday report concerning Tomlin and his current contract and how it includes an option decision in March of 2026 for his 2027 year. We also discuss the NFL calendar in relation to March 1 and how Tomlin reportedly has a no-trade clause in his contract. Alex and I discuss how it's almost guarantees that Tomlin will be the head coach of the Steelers through at least the 2026 season and how team president Art Rooney II will more than likely exercise the 2027 year by this coming March 1. After discussing the Tomlin contract situation, Alex and I look at the AFC North division and the current playoff seeding. We also discuss how the Steelers' final regular season game against the Ravens may or may not have meaning by the time we get to Week 18. This 105-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted and we wrap things up by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. This week on the show, Sara J. is joined by Alex Moore of Satellite Pilot, a psychedelic indie-pop band based out of Loveland, CO. We dive into the Denver & Fort Collins music scene—what makes it special, why authenticity matters, and how even in a crowded landscape, there's truly room for everyone.Naturally, we get into the heart of music community and the way sound connects people no matter the miles between them. We talk path markers in life, creative energy, tapping into self, and the frequency shift that happens when you're playing to a live crowd. Alex also shares the wild story of the massive snowstorm that hit on the night of their 10-year anniversary show… and how it transformed into an intimate evening with the “real ones.”Alex opens up about the roots of his musical passion—from being inspired by a musician father to watching his great grandma play piano and organ in church, to the moment he got his first guitar. He also tells a serendipitous story involving a piano and the day he was born - you know we love that around stuff around here!We dig into his eclectic musical influences, including his love for 60s rockers and the raw authenticity of hip-hop.Then it's all things Satellite Pilot—the ever-expanding energy machine. Alex walks us through the current lineup, the family inspiration behind the band's name, what they're working on now, and so much more!More from this week's guest:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/satellite_pilot/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SatellitePilotYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@satellitepilothttps://linktr.ee/satellitepilotSatellite Pilot at The Roxy Theatre (Denver, CO) 8/30/25 - FULL GALLERY on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/posts/satellite-pilot-137811407?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_linkDonate to DATC Media Company: https://datcmediacompany.com/supportGive the gift of Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/Datcmediacompany/giftThe DATC Media Podcast Family: https://datcmediacompany.com/podcastsWant to be a guest on the show? https://datcmediacompany.com/contact/ola/services/be-a-guest-on-dropped-among-this-crowd-podcastWant to be a RoughGauge featured artist? Survivor 49's Alex Moore sits down with Sharon Tharp to break down his big blindside and rivalry with Rizo. From watching the idol go unplayed twice to realizing his "messy"" social game made him a threat, Alex opens up about the alliances that crumbled, why Jawan and Sage flipped, and the conversations fans never saw. He also reflects on Savannah's polarizing presence, the chaotic Tribal Council, and whether he has any interest in playing again.
