In the first hour, Dan Bernstein and Leila Rahimi -- who was in for Laurence Holmes -- listened and reacted to the Bears' press conference with general manager Ryan Poles and coach Matt Eberflus as the team gets ready to open training camp.

In the final hour, Dan Bernstein and Laurence Holmes discussed Bears general manager Ryan Poles' firing of director of player engagement Lamar "Soup" Campbell -- a development in the organization that isn't new, yet there still has been no explanation from Poles. Why the lack of transparency? Later, Joe Cowley of the Sun-Times joined the show to discuss the Bulls sticking to their plan of "core continuity," the message the team is trying to send to the rest of the NBA about Chicago being a destination and more.

In the third hour, Laurence Holmes and Leila Rahimi were joined by NBC Sports analyst Steve Stone to discuss the White Sox's historic baserunning gaffe in their 6-3 loss to the Twins on Monday night, his view on the team's leadership and more. Later, they discussed the Bears firing vice president of player engagement LaMar "Soup" Campbell before discussing Twins star shortstop Carlos Correa's explanation for why he didn't want to sign with the Cubs during the offseason.

He is a man of many talents which include producer, manager of Gospel Artists and has appeared on several Gospel projects. He is a Grammy nominated songwriter with one of his first songs written "I Won't Complain" was recorded by Chicago Mass Choir. And another of his songs written "Not Guilty" recorded by Lamar Campbell. Recently retired, Kevin Jenkins loves cruising through life. He loves cruising--spending a week or more on the ocean. His only regret is that he didn't start ocean cruising sooner. He's also found it easier to cruise through life with Christ at his side. He shares a story that many a former non-believer can relate to in terms of his view of church and pastors before he became a born again Christian. The son of a Contract Compliance Specialist who enforced Affirmative Action laws, Kevin grew up fully understanding the value of such programs as they were originally intended. This made him a much-respected manager across multiple industries, from manager at multiple Black-owned McDonald's restaurants in the Baltimore area to the funeral services industry. His experience with a police officer as Kevin drove into work one weekday, points to the reason for the podcast. By the way, you can hear my interview with his son, Courtney Jenkins in the previous episode. Life father, like son is certainly true in this case. Kevin's favorite book is The Black History of The White House. Sefton Dale Brown, Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, was born and raised in a musical family. His parents are Sefton Brown Snr and Claudette Brown, gospel music legends from the ministry "New Creation Heritage". Sefton jnr (known to most as Dale, has been singing for over 35yrs. He has ministered all over the Caribbean serving as the choir director, praise team coordinator, music director, worship and arts director for many ministries all across North America and the caribbean. He formed a ministry called Dale Brown and Truth also known as DB&T which started in August 2009 and is currently comprised of 18 active members from across the United states and Canada. The group blends traditional and contemporary gospel music with their own musical style. They have ministered across the United States, the Caribbean and now Canada. The ministry released their first album "Tru Celebration" in December of 2013; their second album "Under Construction" in September of 2015 and in January of 2018 they released a gospel reggae fusion project. They were also nominated in 2018 for the "best contemporary gospel group award" at the Eddy awards, held in Jacksonville, Florida. In addition to their albums, the ministry has a clothing line which includes: tshirts, dresses and sweaters. Dale has currently relocated to Toronto Canada where he is very active in the gospel music industry. He is currently the music teacher at Crawford adventist academy, the praise and worship director for the Apple Creek church, The music consultant for the Meadowvale Church and the director of the promotion company Muzikizlife. Dale Brown and Truth has expanded their ministry to now having a chapter in Toronto called "Dale Brown and One Voice". God has been really good to this ministry and for that they are grateful. It is their desire to take God with them wherever they go, spreading His love to those who may or may not know how miraculous He is.
