Are the Bears all the way back? Our yearly ritual of justifying The Athletic's QB Tiers article has arrived. How much are we pretending to not care about what's happening across the NFC North? Also, the B1G expands again. Hamm's N Ted gets touched on with baseball talk. Gray Balls also all the way back? Plus tons more, including lamenting (?) the death of Pee Wee Herman. Fleck coins. 74:45 - 92:15 - Let's Wrap this M'Fer Up. Hey, a taste of baseball talk through Hamm's N Ted. MLB – AP source: Correa spurns Mets, reaches $200M deal with Twins A person familiar with the negotiations says Carlos Correa has agreed to a $200 million, six-year contract that keeps him with the Minnesota Twins after failing to complete deals with the New York Mets and San Francisco Giants. The deal for the All-Star shortstop is subject to a successful physical. Correa agreed Dec. 13 to a $350 million, 13-year contract with the Giants, who called off a news conference a week later over concerns with a right ankle injury. Correa agreed that night to a $315 million, 12-year deal with the Mets, who also had concerns about the ankle. The agreement with the Twins could be worth $270 million over 10 seasons if Correa remains healthy. Poles left it slightly ajar Tuesday by saying he would have to be “blown away” to take a passer. Quarterbacks such as Alabama's Bryce Young, Ohio State's C.J. Stroud and Kentucky's Will Levis are among the top prospects available in the draft. Fields emerged as one of the NFL's most exciting players in his second season. The Giving Back Fund is a nonprofit that helps athletes and celebrities manage their charitable giving. They will host the “The Chasing M's Foundation” Charitable Fund. The Chicago Bears are headed to Atlanta to play the Falcons in a Ryan Pace revenge game where he has signed lots of former CHicago Bears players like Cordaralle Patterson, Germaine Ifedi, and even Nick Kwiatkowski. That's not the only storyline, David Montgomery is now the True RB1 for at least 4 weeks now that Khalil Herbert has been placed on Injured Reserve. Khalil Herbert averaged more yardage and played better but now it's time for David Montgomery to prove if he's worth a new contract in free agency in his new role as the lead back. Justin Fields is looking to continue his historic run as the best running quarterback ever against the Falcons poor defense. The big question will be, will the Bears throw it more to Darnell Mooney and will Chase Claypool receive more snaps against a very poor Falcons Secondary.
