Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God…. 2 Corinthians 2:15 NLT   And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. Mark 12:30 NLT   “I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.” Romans 12:1 NLT   THE KEY TO A THRIVING RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD IS TRUST, WHICH IS DISPLAYED THROUGH ABANDONMENT TO GOD. THAT IS THE FOUNDATION OF WORSHIP.   Now he brought me back to the entrance to the Temple. I saw water pouring out from under the Temple porch to the east (the Temple faced east). The water poured from the south side of the Temple, south of the altar. He then took me out through the north gate and led me around the outside to the gate complex on the east. The water was gushing from under the south front of the Temple. He walked to the east with a measuring tape and measured off fifteen hundred feet, leading me through water that was ankle-deep. He measured off another fifteen hundred feet, leading me through water that was knee-deep. He measured off another fifteen hundred feet, leading me through water waist-deep. He measured off another fifteen hundred feet. By now it was a river over my head, water to swim in, water no one could possibly walk through. He said, “Son of man, have you had a good look?” Ezekiel 47:1-7 MSG   4 LEVELS OF CONTROL ANKLE-DEEP He walked to the east with a measuring tape and measured off fifteen hundred feet, leading me through water that was ankle-deep. Ezekiel 47:3 MSG Be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do. James 1:6-8 NLT KNEE-DEEP He measured off another fifteen hundred feet, leading me through water that was knee-deep. Ezekiel 47:4 MSG   The LORD is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. Lamentations 3:25 NLT   So now that you know God (or should I say, now that God knows you), why do you want to go back again and become slaves once more to the weak and useless spiritual principles of this world? Galatians 4:9 NLT WAIST-DEEP He measured off another fifteen hundred feet, leading me through water waist-deep. Ezekiel 47:4 MSG     Taste and see that the lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! Fear the lord, you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need. Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the lord will lack no good thing. Psalms 34:8-10 NLT OVER YOUR HEAD-DEEP He measured off another fifteen hundred feet. By now it was a river over my head, water to swim in, water no one could possibly walk through.  Ezekiel 47:5 MSG   Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit's leading in every part of our lives.  Galatians 5:24-25 NLT   THE REWARDS OF SURRENDER   Then he took me back to the riverbank. While sitting on the bank, I noticed a lot of trees on both sides of the river. He told me, “This water flows east, descends to the Arabah and then into the sea, the sea of stagnant waters. When it empties into those waters, the sea will become fresh. Wherever the river flows, life will flourish—great schools of fish—because the river is turning the salt sea into fresh water. Where the river flows, life abounds. Fishermen will stand shoulder to shoulder along the shore from En-gedi all the way north to En-eglaim, casting their nets. The sea will teem with fish of all kinds, like the fish of the Great Mediterranean. “The swamps and marshes won't become fresh. They'll stay salty. “But the river itself, on both banks, will grow fruit trees of all kinds. Their leaves won't wither, the fruit won't fail. Every month they'll bear fresh fruit because the river from the Sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing.” Ezekiel 47:7-12 MSG   TREES REPRESENT HEALING FISH REPRESENT HARVEST Wherever the river flows, life will flourish…; Where the river flows, life abounds. Ezekiel 47:8-9 MSG   WHEN WE ABANDON OURSELVES TO GOD'S WILL & PRESENCE WE BECOME THE CHURCH. THEN WE GET TO BE A PART OF SEEING SOULS SAVED & PEOPLE HEALED.   HOW TO HAVE A LIFESTYLE OF WORSHIP   1. INCORPORATE GOD IN YOUR LIFE   “For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His.” 2 Chronicles 16:9 NLT   I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5 NLT   2. CHOOSE TO REMAIN COMMITTED   If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. But even if he doesn't, we want to make it clear to you, Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.” Daniel 3:17-18 NLT   3. BE OBEDIENT   Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name. And don't forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God. Hebrews 13:15-16 NLT   Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.” John 14:21 NLT   4. SHOW REVERENCE   But the time is coming—indeed it's here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. John 4:23 NLT   He takes no pleasure in the strength of a horse or in human might. No, the lord's delight is in those who fear him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love. Psalms 147:10-11 NLT   Fear of the lord leads to life, bringing security and protection from harm. Proverbs 19:23 NLT   ….True worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.” John 4:23 NLT

II Timothy 4:1-8 Do you see the truth clearly?  Vision changes & decreases with age – 20/20…20/30…  Spiritual vision can also change  Truth that was clear now hazy  Life experiences impact  Sin & consequences affect spiritual vision  Neglect a major impact 2 Peter 1:5-9 NKJV Do you see the truth clearly? Spiritual blindness – unwillingness or inability to see spiritual truth  Spiritual acuity – those who have had their eyes opened by Jesus Christ  Our culture in crisis – a truth crisis  Pontius Pilate – “what is truth?” (John 18:18)  Many think it's impossible to know the truth  Inaccurate “expertise”, opinions vs. facts  “A lie can travel halfway around the world while truth is still lacing up her boots” —Mark Twain  Satan – father of lies (John 8:44) Three Steps to see truth clearly: 1. Be Concerned about Knowing the Truth (vv. 1-2) 2. Be Cautious about Neglecting the Truth (vv. 3-4) 3. Be Careful about Nurturing the Truth (vv. 5-8) Be Concerned about Knowing the Truth Sound doctrine (vs. 3) the truth (vs. 4)  2 Tim 3:14-15 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, (15) and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.  Jesus Christ is the truth - John 14:6 Jesus said …"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through Me.  Prophet Daniel – Bible is “Scripture of Truth” (Daniel 10:21)  Truth - tied to doctrine (didaskalia - did-as-kal-ee'-ah) – teaching/instruction  Not popular, but essential  Owner's manual (illustration)  Feelings vs. truth Be Concerned about Knowing the Truth Scripture emphasizes importance of sound doctrine  Hosea 4:6 NKJV My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…  Acts 2:42 NKJV And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.  1Timothy 4:13 NKJV Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.  Titus 2:1 NKJV But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: “We do not have a strong church today, nor do we have many strong Christians. We can trace the cause to an acute lack of sound, spiritual knowledge. Ask an average Christian to talk about God. After getting past the expected answers, you will find that his God is a little God of vacillating sentiments” —James Montgomery Boice Be cautious about neglecting the Truth Our culture has largely rejected the truth  Sensationism – gone mainstream  Politicized and editorialized  “Narrative” not truth – “truth” subjective or situational  “no such thing as absolute truth” –  “My truth, your truth”  Stats indicate many churches & Christians confused in what they believe  “Progressive” Christianity – growing – tactic – move you from the truth  Paul in Athens (Aerophagus) – Acts 17:21 – For all the Athenians and the foreigners who were there spent their time in nothing else but either to tell or to hear some new thing.  Itching ears – no stomach for solid teaching fill up on spiritual junk food (MSG) Be careful about nurturing the Truth  Paul's charge to Timothy  Vs. 5 – “but you” – feed on truth for himself  Be watchful in all things  Endure afflictions  Do work of an evangelist  Fulfill your ministry  Paul's example –  Fulfilled his ministry  Fought the fight  Finished the race  Kept the faith  “Finish Strong” Be careful about nurturing the Truth  Paul's charge to Timothy  Vs. 2 – Preach the word!  Preach Christ:  1Cor 1:23  2Cor 4:5  Publicly proclaim - kay-roos'-so  Know the truth –  Sound doctrine – hygiene, health  Identify lies by exposing them to the truth  DL Moody Be careful about nurturing the Truth John 8:31-32 NKJV John 14:6 NKJV

Matthew 6:1-4 MSG - “Be especially careful when you are trying to be good so that you don't make a performance out of it. It might be good theater, but the God who made you won't be applauding. 2-4 “When you do something for someone else, don't call attention to yourself. You've seen them in action, I'm sure—‘playactors' I call them—treating prayer meeting and street corner alike as a stage, acting compassionate as long as someone is watching, playing to the crowds. They get applause, true, but that's all they get. When you help someone out, don't think about how it looks. Just do it—quietly and unobtrusively. (Romans 8:26-28) God is not taken aback when we get tired in the waiting. He knows our frailty. Romans 8:26-28 MSG caught my attention during the Pentecost Sunday service at my local Church. The verses were uplifting and I pray that you will find succour in this Word of God in Jesus' name. “Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God's Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don't know how or what to pray, it doesn't matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That's why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:26-28‬ ‭MSG‬‬ Be mindful of this truth - every detail or of your life of love for God - whether pleasant, bothersome, worrisome or ugly -is worked into something good. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/abimbola-arawande/message

(Romans 12:1; John 4:23-24) Worship is an act. It is more than singing songs to God. It is more than singing during “praise and worship” session. It involves our everyday thoughts and acts. I love the way the Message and Amplified version explain worship- “Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship.” ‭‭ROMANS‬ ‭12:1‬ ‭AMP‬‬ “So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering...‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:1-2‬ ‭MSG ‬‬ Be intentional about your worship to God. Let your worship emanate from within your heart as Jesus said in John 4:23-24 (MSG) “It's who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That's the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. God is sheer being itself—Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration.”” ‭ Remember, be intentional about your worship to God. Let's pray Father I thank for the regeneration of my spirit the day I received Jesus into my life. I thank You for Your Holy Spirit that opens me to the truth of Your Word Today, I pray for fresh and increased grace to be intentional about truly worshipping you with all my being. Thank You Father for answering my prayer. In Jesus' name I pray, amen. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/abimbola-arawande/message

A prayer of thanksgiving! Matthew 11:20-28 (MSG) Next Jesus let fly on the cities where he had worked the hardest but whose people had responded the least, shrugging their shoulders and going their own way. "Doom to you, Chorazin! Doom, Bethsaida! If Tyre and Sidon had seen half of the powerful miracles you have seen, they would have been on their knees in a minute. At Judgment Day they'll get off easy compared to you. And Capernaum! With all your peacock strutting, you are going to end up in the abyss. If the people of Sodom had had your chances, the city would still be around. At Judgment Day they'll get off easy compared to you." 25 Abruptly Jesus broke into prayer: "Thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth. You've concealed your ways from sophisticates and know-it-alls, but spelled them out clearly to ordinary people. Yes, Father, that's the way you like to work." Jesus resumed talking to the people, but now tenderly. "The Father has given me all these things to do and say. This is a unique Father-Son operation, coming out of Father and Son intimacies and knowledge. No one knows the Son the way the Father does, nor the Father the way the Son does. But I'm not keeping it to myself; I'm ready to go over it line by line with anyone willing to listen. “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. 1. 我們每人都有這時刻! 不過是可以迅間改變! We all have those moments! But it can change quickly! 希伯來書 12章15節(NCV) 你們要小心,免得有人失去了 神的恩典;免得有苦根長起來纏繞你們,因而污染了許多人; Hebrews 12:15 ERV Be careful that no one fails to get God's grace. Be careful that no one loses their faith and becomes like a bitter weed growing among you. Someone like that can ruin your whole group. 學習讓想法變成禱告 Learning to make thoughts a trigger to prayer. 帖撒羅尼迦前書 5 章16-18節(NCV) 要常常喜樂,不住禱告,凡事謝恩;這就是 神在基督耶穌裡給你們的旨意。 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18 (MSG) Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live. 2. 感恩的禱告會帶來更大的想法 The prayer of thanksgiving brings big perspective. 詩篇 28章7節(NCV) 耶和華是我的力量,是我的盾牌;我的心倚靠他,我就得到幫助;所以我的心歡樂。我要用詩歌頌讚他。 Psalm 28:7 TPT You are my strength and my shield from every danger. When I fully trust in you, help is on the way. I jump for joy and burst forth with ecstatic, passionate praise! I will sing songs of what you mean to me! 3. 來到耶穌的恩典裏! Come back to the grace zone! 馬太福音 11章28-30節(NCV) 28 你們所有勞苦擔重擔的人哪,到我這裡來吧!我必使你們得安息。 29 我心裡柔和謙卑,你們應當負我的軛,向我學習,你們就必得著心靈的安息; 30 我的軛是容易負的,我的擔子是輕省的。” Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG) “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. It helps, now and then, to step back and take a long view.  The Kingdom is not only beyond our efforts; it is even beyond our vision. We accomplish in our lifetime only a tiny fraction of the magnificent enterprise that is the Lord’s work. Therefore the annoyances, the day-to-day frustrations and the everyday mundane all serve to remind us that, there is so much more going on than what we see and comprehend. This serves as daily encouragement when the storms of life come and go, but it also serves as our hope, light and focus as we keep our perspective centered on what we’re really here for. On the podcast today, we talk about what it means to be compelled by a vision not our own. Nothing we do is complete, which is another way of saying that the Kingdom always lies beyond us. No sermon says all that could be said. No prayer fully expresses our faith. No confession brings perfection. No pastoral visit brings wholeness. No program accomplishes the Church's mission. No set of goals and objectives includes everything. That is what we are about. We plant the seeds that one day will grow. We water seeds already planted knowing they hold future promise. We lay foundations that will need further development. We provide yeast that affects far beyond our capabilities. We cannot do everything and there is a sense of liberation in realizing that. This enables us to do something, and to do it very, very well. It may be incomplete, but it is a beginning, a step along the way, an opportunity for the Lord's grace to enter and do the rest. We may never see the end results, but that is the difference between the Master Builder and the worker. We are workers, not master builders; ministers, not messiahs. We are prophets of a future that is not our own.”  Oscar Romero ”So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective.” –Colossians 3:1-2 (MSG) Be sure to subscribe for newsletter updates and listen on iTunes!
