Marketplace Entrepreneur for the Kingdom of God • Sunday Service Website: www.PastorTodd.org Please help us fight back and take a stand: www.ToddCoconato.com/give We are in a critical hour where the lines between sacred and secular are blurring—not because we're compromising the Gospel, but because God is invading every sphere of society through His people. The Church is not confined to the four walls of a building. In fact, many of the greatest battles and victories of this generation will not take place in pulpits, but in boardrooms, offices, construction sites, online platforms, and homes. You don't have to be a pulpit preacher to be in full-time ministry. If you're called to the marketplace, then you're on the frontlines of spiritual warfare, influence, and kingdom advancement. 1. Matthew 5:14-16 (NKJV) “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” 2. Colossians 3:23-24 (NKJV) “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” 3. Proverbs 13:22 (NKJV) “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children, but the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.” 4. Deuteronomy 8:18 (NKJV) “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” 5. Acts 18:1-3 (NKJV) “After these things Paul departed from Athens and went to Corinth. And he found a certain Jew named Aquila… with his wife Priscilla… because he was of the same trade, he stayed with them and worked; for by occupation they were tentmakers.” 6. Proverbs 22:29 (NKJV) “Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.” 7. Isaiah 60:1-3 (NKJV) “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” 8. Luke 19:13 (NKJV) “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come.'” 9. 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 (NKJV) “There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.” 10. Ecclesiastes 11:1-2 (NKJV) “Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days. Give a serving to seven, and also to eight, for you do not know what evil will be on the earth.” 11. Romans 12:6-8 (NKJV) “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy… or he who gives, with liberality… he who leads, with diligence…” God is raising up Josephs, Daniels, Deborahs, and Esthers in the marketplace—leaders who can manage resources, interpret dreams, influence kings, and save nations. You may not stand in a pulpit, but your calling is no less holy. Your business is a platform for truth, your clients are a mission field, and your profits can fund revival. This is the hour to rise up as a kingdom entrepreneur—set apart, filled with the Spirit, and unashamed of the Gospel in the business world. CCLI: 21943673

Self-discipline is an essential piece of the puzzle for growing your faith, honoring God, and becoming more like Christ. 1. Self-Discipline is Essential for Spiritual Growth The Bible teaches that following Jesus involves ongoing transformation. Self-discipline enables a Christian to maintain focus on spiritual growth and maturity. This growth is not passive; it requires intentional effort to discipline oneself in the faith. 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 (NKJV): “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.” In this passage, Paul emphasizes the importance of self-discipline in the Christian life. Like an athlete training for a race, the believer must discipline their body and actions to ensure they live a life pleasing to God. This passage also highlights that discipline is necessary for not only spiritual progress but also for preventing spiritual failure. 2. Self-Discipline in Fleeing Sin and Pursuing Holiness Self-discipline is crucial for resisting temptation and living a holy life. Christians are called to reject sin and live in a way that honors God, and this requires discipline in thoughts, words, and actions. 1 Timothy 4:7-8 (NKJV): “But reject profane and old wives' fables, and exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.” Paul urges Timothy to “exercise” toward godliness, which speaks to the discipline of growing in spiritual maturity. This is contrasted with physical exercise, which has limited benefits, while spiritual discipline has eternal value. Titus 2:11-12 (NKJV): “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age.” The grace of God teaches the believer to deny sinful desires and live disciplined lives, demonstrating the power of grace in enabling self-control. 3. Self-Discipline in the Use of Time and Resources Christians are called to be stewards of their time, talents, and resources. Practicing self-discipline helps them use these gifts in a way that honors God and furthers His kingdom. Ephesians 5:15-16 (NKJV): “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” This passage speaks to the importance of using time wisely. Self-discipline involves making choices that align with God's will, ensuring that the believer is living for eternal purposes rather than temporary desires. 4. Self-Discipline in Prayer and Bible Study A disciplined prayer life and consistent study of Scripture are vital for growth in the faith. Christians must intentionally set aside time to communicate with God and immerse themselves in His Word. Matthew 26:41 (NKJV): “Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Jesus speaks to the importance of watchfulness and prayer to avoid falling into temptation. Self-discipline in maintaining a life of prayer is necessary for strength against sin. 2 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV): “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” This emphasizes the discipline required in studying Scripture. A believer who wants to rightly divide the Word must be diligent and disciplined in their study. 5. Self-Discipline in Following Jesus' Example Lastly, the ultimate example of self-discipline is Jesus Himself. He lived a life of perfect self-discipline, obeying the Father's will even to the point of death on the cross. Luke 9:23 (NKJV): “Then He said to them all, ‘If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.'” To follow Jesus is to practice daily self-discipline, denying one's own desires and submitting to the will of God. Conclusion For anyone who is striving to follow Jesus, self-discipline is not merely about willpower, but it is a response to God's grace and a necessary aspect of sanctification. It requires a commitment to spiritual practices, a resistance to temptation, and an ongoing pursuit of holiness. Through self-discipline, believers not only grow in Christ-likeness but also glorify God in all aspects of their lives. Self-discipline is both a duty and a privilege, empowered by the Holy Spirit and essential to the believer's walk with Christ. It is through discipline that Christians can live according to God's Word and fulfill their calling to be holy and set apart for His purposes. **(00:00) END PART 1** **(27:00 – 5:00) BEGIN PART 2** Developing self-discipline as a follower of Jesus requires intentional effort and commitment. A commitment to the spiritual disciplines can be a big part of the process of growing as a follower of Jesus. These disciplines are practices that help a believer grow in their relationship with God, resist temptation, and align their lives more closely with His will. In the context of following Jesus, self-discipline is rooted in God's grace but also requires the active participation of the believer in cultivating habits that foster spiritual growth. The spiritual disciplines are habits that help us keep our focus. Prayer, Bible reading, meditation and study Silence, Solitude, Community, Fasting. These are habits that help you build a strong spiritual life. We have talked about them before and will come back to them again but for now, Know that studying and practicing the spiritual disciplines should be a part of your spiritual life. Developing personal self-discipline is a key aspect of spiritual growth and daily life, especially for a Christian who is striving to follow Jesus. While spiritual disciplines like prayer, Bible study, and worship are vital, personal self-discipline in everyday activities also plays a significant role in the overall process. Here are practical steps that can help someone develop or increase their personal self-discipline: 1. Set Clear Goals and Priorities Having clear goals allows you to stay focused and motivated. Self-discipline thrives when you have a sense of purpose. Start by determining what is most important to you, both in your spiritual life and personal life. Actionable Step: Write down your goals—spiritual, personal, and professional—and prioritize them. Break them down into smaller, achievable tasks. For example, if your goal is to read through the Bible in a year, break it into daily reading plans. 2. Create a Routine or Schedule A structured routine helps build self-discipline because it instills consistency. When you have a set schedule, you're less likely to be distracted by fleeting desires or emotions. Actionable Step: Create a daily or weekly schedule that includes time for prayer, Bible study, work, exercise, meals, and sleep. Setting fixed times for these activities helps cultivate habits and limits procrastination. NEXT ACTION. DO IT. Proverbs 12:1 (NKJV): “Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, But he who hates correction is stupid.” A disciplined schedule allows you to grow in knowledge and wisdom, as it gives you time to learn and apply godly principles. 3. Develop Healthy Habits Small, healthy habits can lead to big changes. Good habits can gradually transform your life and build the foundation for self-discipline. These habits can include morning routines, exercise, and eating habits. Whole Life stewardship requires WHOLE LIFE DISCIPLINE. Actionable Step: Start by adopting one healthy habit at a time, such as drinking water in the morning, avoiding social media first thing, or exercising regularly. Focus on consistency, and gradually build other habits on top of that. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NKJV): “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.” Taking care of your body through healthy habits is a way to honor God and develop discipline. 4. Practice Accountability Accountability is a powerful tool in developing self-discipline. When you know someone is holding you accountable, it increases your motivation and helps you stay on track. You aren't in this alone. Actionable Step: Find an accountability partner or a group that shares your spiritual goals. This could be a prayer partner, a mentor, or a small group from your church. Regular check-ins and mutual encouragement can strengthen your resolve. Proverbs 27:17 (NKJV): “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.” Accountability helps keep you on the path of discipline and encourages you to grow together with others. 5. Learn to Say No Self-discipline often involves making hard choices and learning to say no to things that are not aligned with your goals or that hinder your progress. This applies to both time management and spiritual focus. You must be clear on God's calling for you life and let nothing hinder your pursuit of Him and His mission. Actionable Step: Practice saying no to distractions, whether it's binge-watching TV, spending excessive time on social media, or even good things that might prevent you from focusing on what matters most, like spending time with God or with family. Matthew 5:37 (NKJV): “But let your ‘Yes' be ‘Yes,' and your ‘No,' ‘No.' For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.” Learning to say no when necessary is part of being disciplined, especially when it comes to guarding your time and energy. 6. Eliminate Distractions Distractions are one of the biggest barriers to self-discipline. It's difficult to stay focused when you're surrounded by temptations or interruptions. By intentionally reducing distractions, you can stay on task and make better use of your time. Remember Mary and Martha. There is one thing you need. Actionable Step: Identify areas of your life where you tend to get distracted—such as your phone, the internet, or unproductive relationships—and take steps to minimize those distractions. For instance, you could put your phone in another room while reading your Bible or studying. Matthew 6:6 (NKJV): “But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.” Finding a quiet, distraction-free space for prayer or study is essential in maintaining self-discipline. 7. Take Breaks and Rest Self-discipline doesn't mean working yourself to exhaustion. Taking breaks is important for mental and physical well-being. Rest allows you to recharge and maintain focus over time. Actionable Step: Schedule regular breaks throughout the day to rest and recharge. Ensure that you also take time off from work and other obligations to rest, whether it's a weekly Sabbath, a day off, or short breaks during the day. Exodus 20:8-10 (NKJV): “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work...” Resting is essential for spiritual, emotional, and physical renewal, and it's a discipline that promotes a balanced life. 8. Practice Self-Control in Small Things Building self-discipline in small areas of life can create a ripple effect that leads to greater self-control in bigger things. Start with simple acts of self-restraint, and work up to more challenging areas. Actionable Step: Practice self-control by limiting small indulgences, such as sweets, caffeine, or unnecessary spending. This builds the muscle of self-discipline, which will help in more significant areas like temptation or long-term goals. Galatians 5:22-23 (NKJV): “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.” Self-control is a fruit of the Spirit that grows as we practice it in daily life. 9. Celebrate Small Wins It's easy to become discouraged if you're only focused on long-term results. Acknowledge and celebrate small victories along the way to stay motivated. Actionable Step: When you accomplish a goal or stick to a discipline for a certain period, reward yourself with something meaningful—whether it's a small treat, a break, or a time of reflection and gratitude. 1 Corinthians 9:24 (NKJV): “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.” Recognizing progress along the way encourages perseverance and motivates you to continue toward your final goal. 10. Seek God's Help and Grace Ultimately, self-discipline is not about relying solely on your strength, but on God's grace. Ask the Lord to help you develop discipline, giving you the strength to overcome weaknesses and the wisdom to prioritize what matters most. Philippians 4:13 (NKJV): “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Depend on God's strength to help you grow in discipline, especially when things seem too difficult. Conclusion: Developing self-discipline is a process that requires intentional action and reliance on God's grace. By setting clear goals, creating a structured routine, developing healthy habits, and seeking accountability, you can grow in self-discipline and make progress in your personal and spiritual life. Keep focusing on small, practical steps while relying on God's strength and guidance through it all. **(5:00 – 1:00)** Doctrine Today Church Role in Discerning God's Will **(1:00)** How are you doing at keeping those hard tasks on your schedule? Let My Son Go Exodus 4:1-5 (HCSB)“Moses answered, ‘What if they won't believe me and will not obey me but say, ‘The Lord did not appear to you'?' The Lord asked him, ‘What is that in your hand?' ‘A staff,' he replied. Then He said, ‘Throw it on the ground.' He threw it on the ground, and it became a snake. Moses ran from it, but the Lord told him, ‘Stretch out your hand and grab it by the tail.' So he stretched out his hand and caught it, and it became a staff in his hand. ‘This will take place,' He continued, ‘so they will believe that Yahweh, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.'” Exodus 4:6-9 (HCSB)“In addition, the Lord said to him, ‘Put your hand inside your cloak.' So he put his hand inside his cloak, and when he took it out, his hand was diseased, white as snow. Then He said, ‘Put your hand back inside your cloak.' He put his hand back inside his cloak, and when he took it out, it had again become like the rest of his skin. ‘If they will not believe you and will not respond to the evidence of the first sign, they may believe the evidence of the second sign. And if they don't believe even these two signs or listen to what you say, take some water from the Nile and pour it on the dry ground. The water you take from the Nile will become blood on the ground.'” Exodus 4:10-17 (HCSB)“But Moses replied to the Lord, ‘Please, Lord, I have never been eloquent—either in the past or recently or since You have been speaking to Your servant—because I am slow and hesitant in speech.' Yahweh said to him, ‘Who made the human mouth? Who makes him mute or deaf, seeing or blind? Is it not I, Yahweh? Now go! I will help you speak and I will teach you what to say.' Moses said, ‘Please, Lord, send someone else.' Then the Lord's anger burned against Moses, and He said, ‘Isn't Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, he is on his way now to meet you. He will rejoice when he sees you. You will speak with him and tell him what to say. I will help both you and him to speak and will teach you both what to do. He will speak to the people for you. He will be your spokesman, and you will serve as God to him. And take this staff in your hand that you will perform the signs with.'” Exodus 4:18-23 (HCSB)“Then Moses went back to his father-in-law Jethro and said to him, ‘Please let me return to my relatives in Egypt and see if they are still living.' Jethro said to Moses, ‘Go in peace.' Now in Midian the Lord told Moses, ‘Return to Egypt, for all the men who wanted to kill you are dead.' So Moses took his wife and sons, put them on a donkey, and returned to the land of Egypt. And Moses took God's staff in his hand. The Lord instructed Moses, ‘When you go back to Egypt, make sure you do all the wonders before Pharaoh that I have put within your power. But I will harden his heart so that he won't let the people go. Then you will say to Pharaoh: ‘This is what Yahweh says: Israel is My firstborn son. I told you: Let My son go so that he may worship Me, but you refused to let him go. Now I will kill your firstborn son!'” Exodus 4:24-31 (HCSB)“On the trip, at an overnight campsite, it happened that the Lord confronted him and sought to put him to death. So Zipporah took a flint, cut off her son's foreskin, and threw it at Moses' feet. Then she said, ‘You are a bridegroom of blood to me!' So He let him alone. At that time she said, ‘You are a bridegroom of blood,' referring to the circumcision. Now the Lord had said to Aaron, ‘Go and meet Moses in the wilderness.' So he went and met him at the mountain of God and kissed him. Moses told Aaron everything the Lord had sent him to say, and about all the signs He had commanded him to do. Then Moses and Aaron went and assembled all the elders of the Israelites. Aaron repeated everything the Lord had said to Moses and performed the signs before the people. The people believed, and when they heard that the Lord had paid attention to them and that He had seen their misery, they bowed down and worshiped.” IntroductionThree SignsTwo Objections Freedom for the people of God Three SignsThe Staff/RodThe Leprous White Hand The Nile Water Becoming Blood Three SignsIn challenging Egypt's faith, God struck at the world of nature. Keeping the Heart in Check: Walking in the Spirit • Friday Service Website: www.PastorTodd.org To give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give As believers, we are called to walk in the Spirit and not gratify the desires of the flesh. Yet, even with the best intentions, we sometimes find ourselves slipping into fleshly behaviors. Today, we will explore why this happens and how we can keep our hearts in check, aligning them with God's will. Matthew 15:18-19 (NKJV) "But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies." Galatians 5:16-17 (NKJV) "I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish." Romans 7:18-19 (NKJV) "For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice." James 1:14-15 (NKJV) "But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death." Philippians 4:7 (NKJV) "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Colossians 3:2 (NKJV) "Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth." 1 John 2:15-17 (NKJV) "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever." Keeping our hearts in check is crucial for living a life that honors God. By guarding our hearts, walking in the Spirit, acknowledging our weaknesses, seeking God's examination, and praying for a clean heart, we can overcome the tendencies of the flesh. Let us commit to these practices and trust in God's grace to lead us in His ways.
My People Die For Lack Of Knowledge • Sunday Service To give: www.ToddCoconato.com/give Website: www.PastorTodd.org Today, we will explore the dangers of syncretism—the blending of different religious beliefs and practices—and understand why the Bible warns us that "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6, NKJV). As believers, we must guard against allowing false teachings to infiltrate our faith and remain steadfast in the truth of God's Word. Exodus 20:3-4 (NKJV) "You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth." 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 (NKJV) "Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?" Deuteronomy 18:9-12 (NKJV) "When you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you." Hosea 4:6 (NKJV) "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children." 1 Timothy 4:1 (NKJV) "Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons." Galatians 1:6-8 (NKJV) "I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed."

Matthew 13:24. TPT Then Jesus taught them another parable: “Heaven's kingdom realm can be compared to a farmer who planted good seed in his field. 25. But at night, when everyone was asleep, an enemy came and planted poisonous weeds among the wheat and ran away. 26. When the wheat sprouted and bore grain, the weeds also appeared. 27. So the farmer's hired hands came to him and said, ‘Sir, wasn't that good seed that you sowed in the field? Where did all these weeds come from?' 28. “He answered, ‘This has to be the work of an enemy!' “They replied, ‘Do you want us to go and gather up all the weeds?' 29. “ ‘No,' he said. ‘If you pull out the weeds you might uproot the wheat at the same time.30. You must allow them both to grow together until the time of harvest. At that time, I'll tell my harvesters to make sure they gather the weeds first and tie them all in bundles to be burned. Then they will harvest the wheat and put it into my barn.' ” This scripture can be viewed from two different perspectives. First, it talks about the enemies' activities in the life of men, when they are asleep. Secondly, it gives an illustration of what will happen at the End Time, which is the dispensation we are in now. True believers and unbelievers shall be seen growing and living together in one place, and we shall not be able to differentiate them. But at the last day, there shall be a separation. Our focus for this study, however, shall be on the first perspective. Sleep here in the physical state, is to lay down to rest and oftentimes, you get some dreams. Sleep can also be viewed as a spiritual state of slumberness. The second thing to consider is the enemy and there are certain things to note about his mode of operations. Micah 7:6 tells us that a man's enemies are members of his own household. This means that oftentimes, the person who sows the evil seed is well known to the victim. Micah 7:5 NKJV Do not trust in a friend; Do not put your confidence in a companion; Guard the doors of your mouth From her who lies in your bosom. 6 For son dishonors father,Daughter rises against her mother, Daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; A man's enemies are the men of his own household. 7 Therefore I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me. Similarly today, some of the problems we experience are introduced by persons well known to us. The second thing about the enemy's mode of operation is that he comes in to do evil, when the victim is unaware. Many people, today, wake up and discover a problem because the enemy sneaked in and planted a seed. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jcckikuyu/message
You Have Strength in JesusBy Josiah Zeitz“The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell.”Psalms 27:1-2 NKJV Do you ever see someone really strong do something that you feel like you could never do?it feels like that in our Christian lives sometimes, we see a strong Christian doing these amazing things while we're over here messing up all the time.Do you ever feel weak in your walk with Jesus? if so, be encouraged! you can change that! How do we do this? By growing with God, seeking Him and His word daily. Now you may be saying to yourself “But I already do this and I still feel weak” be encouraged again!it says in Joel 3:10 “Let the weak say they are strong” and in Phillipians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength” God will give you strength in tough times! But He won't give it to someone who does not want it. As Christians we have to let God help us we can't try to do everything on our ownI have done this many times, something bad happens, and I try to fix it all by myself and of course, I fail because I'm weak by myself. But when I let God help me by asking Him to show me what to do and to work through me things go a lot better.Be encouraged today you're not alone! all of us struggle BUT God is here to give us strength we just have to let him help us! Do you want strength? Do you want to be freed from whatever you're going through? Then start today by asking Jesus to help you and to guide you. He will “Trust in the Lord with all you heart, lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths!” (Proverbs 3:5,6)
Galatians 6:7 NKJV “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” From Jacob in the Old Testament to Apostle Paul in the New Testament, the principles of the law of sowing and reaping are in operation so never underestimate this law and start sowing the right seeds today!

Vision changes & decreases with age – 20/20…20/30… Spiritual vision can also change Truth that was clear now hazy Life experiences impact Sin & consequences affect spiritual vision Neglect a major impact 2 Peter 1:5-9 NKJV Do you see the truth clearly? Spiritual blindness – unwillingness or inability to see spiritual truth Spiritual acuity – those who have had their eyes opened by Jesus Christ Our culture in crisis – a truth crisis Pontius Pilate – “what is truth?” (John 18:18) Many think it's impossible to know the truth Inaccurate “expertise”, opinions vs. facts “A lie can travel halfway around the world while truth is still lacing up her boots” —Mark Twain Satan – father of lies (John 8:44) Three Steps to see truth clearly: 1. Be Concerned about Knowing the Truth (vv. 1-2) 2. Be Cautious about Neglecting the Truth (vv. 3-4) 3. Be Careful about Nurturing the Truth (vv. 5-8) Be Concerned about Knowing the Truth Sound doctrine (vs. 3) the truth (vs. 4) 2 Tim 3:14-15 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, (15) and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. Jesus Christ is the truth - John 14:6 Jesus said …"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through Me. Prophet Daniel – Bible is “Scripture of Truth” (Daniel 10:21) Truth - tied to doctrine (didaskalia - did-as-kal-ee'-ah) – teaching/instruction Not popular, but essential Owner's manual (illustration) Feelings vs. truth Be Concerned about Knowing the Truth Scripture emphasizes importance of sound doctrine Hosea 4:6 NKJV My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge… Acts 2:42 NKJV And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 1Timothy 4:13 NKJV Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Titus 2:1 NKJV But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: “We do not have a strong church today, nor do we have many strong Christians. We can trace the cause to an acute lack of sound, spiritual knowledge. Ask an average Christian to talk about God. After getting past the expected answers, you will find that his God is a little God of vacillating sentiments” —James Montgomery Boice Be cautious about neglecting the Truth Our culture has largely rejected the truth Sensationism – gone mainstream Politicized and editorialized “Narrative” not truth – “truth” subjective or situational “no such thing as absolute truth” – “My truth, your truth” Stats indicate many churches & Christians confused in what they believe “Progressive” Christianity – growing – tactic – move you from the truth Paul in Athens (Aerophagus) – Acts 17:21 – For all the Athenians and the foreigners who were there spent their time in nothing else but either to tell or to hear some new thing. Hebrews 4:12,AMP- For the word of God is living and active and full of power, making it operative, energizing, and effective. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit, the completeness of a person, and of both joints and marrow ,the deepest parts of our nature, exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart. A very important lesson every believer has to come to terms with is the reality that God's word is living, spiritual reality. Jesus told us His words are Spirit and life. Here's the deal, there are 2 Greek words translated word in the NT Logos- the written word of God. Our bible.Rhema- the revealed, spoken word of God. Individual revelation. It's when the written becomes the revealed that it produces change in humanity. This is when Hebrew 4 becomes effective, showing the difference between soul and spirit. As well as exposing the thoughts and intents of the heart. Something to keep in mind, spiritual truth and natural truth don't always agree. And this is where faith comes in. Accepting, believing, and acting are the fruits of faith. Romans 10:17,NKJV- So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.CEV- No one can have faith without hearing the message about Christ. We have to understand, the written becoming the revealed only happens through faith. And I cannot over emphasize the importance of speaking the rhema of God into our situation, into our physical world. Now when it comes to confession, it's not simply about saying something we've heard or memorized. It has to be a revelation to us. This is why Jesus made statements like, “according to your faith…”The spoken word is how spiritual realities are transferred into our physical reality. Unfortunately, the majority doesn't really believe this truth. Primarily because we've tried it and didn't see immediate results. 2 Corinthians 4:13,NKJV- And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak. Understand, Paul is writing this right in the middle of some of his most challenging situations. He's actually quoting the Psalmist who went through difficulties praising and walking out God's victory. Something else to keep in mind about this passage, this “same spirit of faith” according to Romans is the same Spirit that brought Jesus back from the dead. Remember, according to our key text, God's word is the only source exposing the difference between these two worlds we are currently living in. This is why the Holy Spirit, just a few verses later in the same chapter in 2 Corinthians makes this radical statement. 2 Corinthians 4:18,NKJV- While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. Think about it, because we have the same spirit of faith, we choose to not look at things that are seen, and according to what is written, we believe and we speak. Is it possible that when believers exercise the rhema word of God, we're actually bringing the unseen into the seen? One of my favorite examples of this is in 2 Kings 6, Elisha and his assistant. Elisha told him, there are more with us than with them. Then he asked the Lord to open his eyes. Today, what you and I have to acknowledge, actually accept, is the reality that God's word is the doorway into Paul's unseen, the world of the spirit, the eternal. Seriously, what do you think the Holy Spirit meant when He told us to walk in the Spirit, not in the flesh? I think He's actually waiting on His people, heirs to start exercising our spiritual senses. Remember, Elisha asked God to open the eyes of his assistant. What… Think about this, how many times did Jesus say things like, “ he who has ears to hear, let him hear.” The harsh reality is, until the born again make room for transformation in our soul, we have no option but our natural senses. SPIRIT- Kingdom of God, made like Him, dominion, authority, faithSOUL- Free willBODY- intelligence, carnality, emotions, senses, unbelief And this is why faith is the absolute in the unseen world of God's Kingdom. Why would Jesus tell us things like, “all things are possible to him who believes.” Think about our story in 2 Kings, Elisha took the entire Syrian army captive by exercising the spiritual world. Hebrews 11:3,NKJV- By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. You getting this, things seen didn't come from this visible world. Here's the deal, at some point we've got to stop assuming things of that world will just manifest in this one simply because we've processed it intellectually, or even memorized a scripture. We have to have revelation from Him. We've got to see it. Why? Because just like in this natural world we have to develop our sense, our abilities. It's exactly the same in the spirit world. Truth is, most of the time it's not asking God to do something, it's us transforming to the place where we begin accesses His world. Jeremiah 29:13,NKJV- You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. With all your heart is 100% spiritual. Other dimensional.Think about it, God's not hiding from us. 1 Corinthians 15:44-45,NIV- If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. Colossians 1:15-16,NLT- Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. I think we should be able to have conversations about the unseen world of God, the Kingdom of Heaven without making it weird. Jesus constantly talked about it. At the same time, we've got to understand that as one of His born again, He sees, expects, and addresses each us us as heirs, in our new life, not our humanity. We have to understand, God will not violate the freedom He gave us. But without revelation from the Holy Spirit, embracing a completely new way of living will remain a mystery. Notice the first thing Jesus tells them is repent. In other words, change what you're thinking and doing. Romans 12:2,NKJV- Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Hebrews 4, The word of God is living, active and full of power, exposing the difference of the soul and spirit, exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart. This is why Jesus said, My words are spirit and life.
James 3 New King James Version The Untamable Tongue 3 My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. 2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a [a]perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. 3 [b]Indeed, we put bits in horses' mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. 4 Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. 5 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of [c]iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of [d]nature; and it is set on fire by [e]hell. 7 For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. 8 But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the [f]similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. 11 Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? 12 Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? [g]Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh. Heavenly Versus Demonic Wisdom 13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and [h]self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. Notes: Matthew 5:33-37 (NKJV) 33 “Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform your oaths to the Lord.' 34 “But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God's throne; 35 “nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. 36 “Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. 37 “But let your ‘Yes' be ‘Yes,' and your ‘No,' ‘No.' For whatever is more than these is from the evil one. Ephesians 4:29 (NKJV) Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. Ephesians 5:19 (NKJV) speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, Ephesians 5:4 (NKJV) neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. Proverbs 23:9 (NKJV) Do not speak in the hearing of a fool, For he will despise the wisdom of your words.
Sermon Notes: Acts 2:42 Series: Acts Title: The First Steps of a New Church Date: 9/12/21 Location: The Fairgrounds at Lake Perris ISAIAH, PLEASE COME AND SEE ME BEFORE SERVICE FOR ANY EDITS TO THESE SLIDES. THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO!!! Acts 2:38,41 (NLT) Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 41 Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all. Acts 2:42 (NLT) 42 All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord's Supper), and to prayer. A true, bible-believing, Jesus-following church must be a dedication to sound doctrine. John 7:16 (NIV) Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me. Acts 1:13-14 (NLT) When they arrived, they went to the upstairs room of the house where they were staying. Here are the names of those who were present: Peter, John, James, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James (son of Alphaeus), Simon (the zealot), and Judas (son of James). 14 They all met together and were constantly united in prayer, along with Mary the mother of Jesus, several other women, and the brothers of Jesus. John 14:25-26 (NLT) I am telling you these things now while I am still with you. 26 But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you. Ephesians 4:11-12 (NLT) Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12 Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. 2 Timothy 4:3 (NLT) For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. Acts 2:42 (NLT) 42 All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord's Supper), and to prayer. If the church is not a building, but rather the people, the church MUST be dedicated to each other. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NLT) Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. 10 If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. 1 John 1:7 (NLT) But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. 2 Corinthians 6:14 (NLT) Don't team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14 (NKJV) Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? Acts 2:42 (NLT) All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord's Supper), and to prayer. Acts 2:44-46 (NLT) 44 And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. 45 They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. 46 They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord's Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity While together, the congregation of the church must be dedicated to remembering the sacrifice Jesus made. 1 Corinthians 10:16 (NLT) When we bless the cup at the Lord's Table, aren't we sharing in the blood of Christ? And when we break the bread, aren't we sharing in the body of Christ? Acts 2:42 (NLT) 42 All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord's Supper), and to prayer. Acts 2:42-47 (NLT) 47 all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved. A new church must be dedicated to cooperate prayer. Acts 12:5 (NLT) But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him. Philippians 4:6 (NLT) Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Colossians 4:2 (NLT) Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.

The book was written to strengthen the faith of believers and challenge the misconceptions of unbelievers, especially those from a Greek background. Luke's profession as a medical doctor gives his Gospel a unique focus on Jesus' humanity and the role of Christ as the suffering servant.”IF YOU DOWNPLAY THE PURPOSE OF YOUR VOICE, YOU DOWNPLAY THE VOICE OF GOD IN YOUR LIFE. (Hebrews 5:1-2 NLT) Every high priest is a man chosen to represent other people in their dealings with God. He presents their gifts to God and offers sacrifices for their sins. 2 And he is able to deal gently with ignorant and wayward people because he himself is subject to the same weaknesses. (Jeremiah 31:33 NLT) “But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel after those days,” says the LORD. “I will put my instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people…” Bold Walk (1 Corinthians 3:16 NKJV) Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? (Hebrews 4:14-15 NLT) So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. 15 This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testing we do, yet he did not sin. (Hebrews 4:16 NLT) So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
Monday July 26th Steps to Supernatural Interventions 1 It is very important that we understand the supernatural and how it works, it's God's desire for all His children. God asked Job a question that gives us an insight into the operation of the supernatural acts of God on the earth. Job 38:33(NKJV) Do you know the laws of the heavens? Can you set up God's dominion over the Earth? In the New Living Translation it says, Do you know the laws of the universe, can you use them to regulate the Earth? The laws of the heavens are the laws of the kingdom of God, they are the laws that create the supernatural on earth. Jesus understood these laws and we see how He used it to demonstrate His mastery on earth. He was able to superimpose the laws of the heavens over the laws of the earth and operate the miraculous. That's why we could see Jesus walk on water, feed thousands of people with 5 loaves and two fish. The Gospel of John 6 said, before he fed the thousand, He already knew what to do even though He didn't have enough food. Do you know what to do to release God's supernatural ability in your life? Do you know how to use the laws of the heavens to control things on the earth? The ability to understand and operate the supernatural with precision is what helps us walk in complete dominion on the earth. The good thing is that this ability can be learnt. In school we can all be in year one but at different levels; someone is in year one in preschool, another in year one in primary school another in year one in secondary school another in year one in university. All are in school; all are in year one but all have different levels of understanding and mastery. There is mathematics or numeracy at all these levels but the mastery of concepts and laws are different. The same thing applies with supernatural laws. As we grow, through the different levels we begin to gain a deeper understanding of the laws of the heavens and the steps that we need to take to bring about supernatural intervention. This is why we all don't have the same level of mastery over the supernatural because we are not at the same level. But the good news is that we can all learn. I pray that God will make our spirits sensitive so that we can begin to learn more and more about the laws of the heavens. God bless you. Enjoy the rest of your day.
Though it may be an unusual connection for you, the title immediately reminded me of the pirates that roamed the Caribbean, Atlantic, and other oceans of the world. Since I am from the Caribbean, I studied some about the pirates in centuries gone by. Arrrrr! No, this is not a history about pirates, though a small sample is included to reveal an eye-opening truth. What is known as the Golden Age of Piracy from the 1650s to the 1730s were the days of famous pirates like Edward “Blackbeard” Teach, Stede Bonnet, Samuel Bellamy, Calico Jack Rackham, Bartholomew Roberts, Edward England, and others. There were also some feared women pirates such as Mary Reade and Anne Bonny. [1] One woman pirate that lived just before the Golden Age deserves special mention. The Irish Gráinne Ni Mháille, anglicized as Grace O'Malley, was the legendary “Queen of Pirates.” She was resourceful, fearless, and a vengeful warrior! She was classically trained (spoke Latin fluently) and was of outstanding intelligence. Her maritime and leadership skills were second to none. Hundreds of men followed her into battle and respected her command. Yet, she was obviously, very womanly or feminine. She got pregnant by her husband and gave birth to one of her sons in the middle of a battle! She wrapped the newborn in a cloth and went topside on her ship with the baby in her arms to rally her crew for battle. Grace was one tough cookie! O'Malley's crew of pirates won that battle though the odds were against them! Some pirates of the Golden Age like Samuel Bellamy were known for their generosity. He gained the nickname “Prince of Pirates” and thought of himself as a seafaring Robin Hood. His crew called themselves Robin Hood's men. Other pirates were known for their extreme cruelty, such as was the case with Edward “Ned” Low. Ned Low violently tortured prisoners he captured on the boats he raided, plundered, and burned. After repeatedly brutalizing his prisoners in his twisted sense of enjoyment, he would murder them mercilessly. Pirates were often vile and heathenistic, but contrary to all ideas of pirates and their activities, many pirate ships had a code of “ethics” written into a contract that crew were required to sign before coming onboard. It varied some from ship to ship, but the main points had to do with division of spoils and not stealing from your shipmates. In one contract it was stated that if a pirate forced a woman to have sex without her consent (rape), the perpetrator would be put to death or be marooned on a deserted island. On another vessel there was a death penalty for bringing a female passenger on board. The skull and cross bones flag came to be called the Jolly Roger during that “Golden” period. It was a flag designed to strike fear in all those that saw it. The black flag announced that the vessel bearing the flag were pirates and that they intended to raid a targeted ship. Sometimes there were variations of the figures of the black flag, and at other times it was just a plain black flag without any symbols. The flag announced to the ship to be raided that if they surrendered immediately, they would not be killed and would be given quarter. The black flag meant “surrender your vessel or die!” It was meant to strike fear in all who saw the flag and get them to surrender their vessel immediately without any bloodshed. If a ship decided to fight the pirates, the black flag would be lowered and a red flag would be raised indicating that no one on the targeted ship would escape death! [2] On June 21, 1720, the pirate captain Bartholomew Roberts sailed into Trepassey harbor in Newfoundland. His black flag was flying brazenly as he entered the port. There were fighting vessels in the large bay that day, having about forty cannons of various sizes between them. If they had combined their forces, they could easily have defeated Roberts' ship. Whatever you may think of the pirate Roberts, he had some guts and spine. As the Greeks would say it, and I don't know why I chose Greek instead of Spanish here, Bartholomew Roberts had “thrásos” (θράσος)! By definition and his action, he had audacity, effrontery, nerve, and even recklessness! What he did was extremely ballsy, but it worked. When the crews of the armed boats saw the black flag, they freaked out, all the blood drained out of their faces, and they surrendered immediately! The pirate Roberts took control of all 172 fishing and merchant ships at anchor in the bay without a fight because the crews feared the black flag! He then burned 22 of the vessels and commandeered a brigantine [3] from Bristol before departing. Now it is time to state an inconvenient and unsettling truth, but it is the naked truth. It was the reason for writing about piracy. A black flag was raised in February/March of 2020 for Covid-19 by government authorities. Churches all over the planet surrendered like those vessels in Trepassey Bay without a fight because they feared the specter of a plague (really a flu bug), though it is 99.9% survivable for most people on the planet. They were so afraid of the specter of death that they obeyed human governments and disobeyed God's Word. Churches surrendered without a fight on a global scale! From the smallest to the most prominent churches and ministries, they all fell for the black flag event. There were only rare exceptions. Churches and ministers became cowards and wimps kowtowing to the world and their “piracy” demands even though it was only “one ship” against a huge armada! Had we joined forces, we could have easily defeated our enemy! That armada, the church of the living God, supposedly armed with the armor of God and the authority of the Name of Jesus, caved like a bunch of sissies with no strength, no power, and no spine! They just opened wide their legs and they were castrated! Welcome to your castrated future UNLESS you repent! God can do a miracle on you and give you back your "manhood" ONLY IF you repent! 99.9% of churches violated Hebrews 10:25: Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching. (AMP) Read my previous articles. I discuss the many things that led to a worldwide disobedience (rebellion) against the Word of God in the churches. It is the beginning of a great revolt and rebellion, the great falling away, the apostasy of the church against God. (1 Timothy 4:1-5, Matthew 24:12-14) I first brought all this up in my articles beginning in May of 2020. Since then, I removed those articles and rewrote them to make them even stronger, not weaker! I am committed to this message 100% because it is the truth that the church MUST hear at this late hour before the coming of the Lord. You can help get this word out by sending the link to this article. Here is the truth about what churches did beginning in March/April of 2020. Churches stopped having altar calls, ministering via the laying on of hands (Mark 16:18), anointing with oil (James 5:14-16), evangelism (Mark 16:15), having communion or the Lord's Supper (1 Corinthians 11:25-30), and numerous other things taught in the Scripture that churches are supposed to do. Not only did they stop doing those Scriptural things, but they shut down for months. The churches quit following this order from the apostle Paul about reading the Scripture in public gatherings, and about preaching and teaching: Devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. (1 Timothy 4:13 NIV) You do understand that the word “public” means a public gathering, an in-person, face-to-face gathering? A “gathering” via Zoom or some other electronic means does not qualify. The internet is not a substitute for face-to-face ministry. A huge number of churches were not obeying Scripture anyway because they had a form of godliness but denied the power of God. (2 Timothy 3:5) They didn't cast out demons, heal the sick, or minister to people to receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the manifestation of speaking in other tongues. (Mark 16:17, 18; Acts 19:1-6) They were not preaching the Scripture (2Timothy 3:16-4:2), but only mouthed off little mousey sermonettes that confirmed their deadness. With the so-called pandemic, it became painfully and abundantly clear who were the living churches, and who were the dying or dead churches. Many churches were filled with dead men's bones before the plandemic. Yep, it was planned by Satan and his henchmen to be a pandemic, but the hand of God turned it into a “nothing burger” with another purpose! Let's settle this now. 650+ thousand have not died from Covid-19! How could there be an extra 650+ thousand deaths and the yearly death stats remain right at 2.9 million per year in America for 2018 through 2020? If the number of deaths have not grown by any significant amount in 2020, where did the inflated Covid death numbers come from? Here is the truth: Many other causes of death were attributed to Covid. What causes? For one, all the many thousands of yearly flu deaths disappeared and were replaced by calling them Covid deaths. Everything from accidental deaths to deaths from preexisting conditions were called Covid related deaths. The National File and other news agencies not controlled by evil government agendas ran the numbers for Covid deaths. They found that they were inflated artificially by as much as 1000%. The CDC, WHO, Fauci, and evil government minions on the alphabet news channels are a bunch of lying dogs! If you accept or follow any of their lies, then you are deceived and need to repent. The surrendering of the church to local and state authorities confirmed the true dying state of most churches around the world. The churches looked so prosperous with their beautiful buildings and properties, so blessed, and so hugely successful in many parts of the world. So many were on national TV and were all over social media. Yes, so whitewashed, and beautiful on the outside. They seemed to be reaching the masses via social media outlets and on Television platforms, but truly, they confirmed they were dying or dead! You have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. (Revelation 3:1 NIV) Most churches were like the church at Sardis. They had a reputation of being alive and successful, but they were DEAD! Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, pretenders (hypocrites)! For you are like tombs that have been whitewashed, which look beautiful on the outside but inside are full of dead men's bones and everything impure. (Matthew 23:27 AMP) That is where the title of this message came from. Churches were beautiful on the outside when they caved to government mandates and restrictions shutting down Church operations for many months, BUT they were whitewashed sepulchers full of dead men's bones! The plandemic meant for evil by the governments of the world to gain tyrannical control over their citizens, God has repurposed it to clearly show the fact that most churches are not ready for the coming of the Lord! Most Churches are dying or dead! The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” (Ezekiel 37:1-3 NKJV) Churches were like this valley of dry bones. Can these bones ever be alive? Can they come back to life? The wages of sin is death. Disobedience to the Word of God brought sin and death. God's gift is eternal life in Christ Jesus. (Romans 6:23) The only way to make the dead alive is through repentance and putting faith and trust in the Blood or sacrifice of Jesus that cleanses us of all sin and unrighteousness. There is NO other way for any believer! There is no other way for ministers, pastors, and for churches! But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar and His word is not in us. (1 John 1:7-10 NKJV) Many have never confessed their sin of bowing to the world and rebelling against the Word of God. Many surrendered like cowards and will perish UNLESS they repent. The Word of God is speaking to us. Jesus is the Word! (John 1:1-3, 14) The Word of God says the following: But unless you repent, you too will all perish! (Luke 13:3, 5 NIV) In Revelation chapters 2 and 3, Jesus commanded 5 of the 7 churches to repent for what they were doing, what they did, or whatever evil they allowed at their churches. Remember that it was Jesus, the Head of the Church universal, THE Word of God, that said all these things and commanded the churches to repent of their wrongdoing, their disobedience to the Scripture! Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. Revelation 2:4, 5 Study what this church at Ephesus did at first in Acts 19:1-20. There, you will find the first love from which they had fallen away. People converted to the Lord Jesus, were baptized in water and in the Holy Spirit, and spoke with other tongues. They had mighty healing services and saw demons cast out. Books (handwritten scrolls) on witchcraft were burned! They had a powerful example in the apostle Paul! They preached and taught the Scripture, and the Word grew mightily among them. They were to continue to do everything Paul showed them by example. (See also Acts 20:17-35). In Acts 19 were recorded the mighty things they had forsaken and from which they had fallen away. Jesus wanted them to repent and get busy doing what at first, they loved doing for God! Obviously, the church at Ephesus had fallen away from being a witness with supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit. Jesus was calling them back through repentance. If they did not repent, then He was going to remove the lampstand. Any light and anointing that was left, whatever they had received that was producing results, was going to be removed! The church didn't repent, and their lampstand was removed. Ephesus was destroyed in 262 A.D. by the Goths, and it lay in ruins for at least 130 years. The church at Ephesus that started in the anointing of the Holy Spirit was finished because they never did repent. The church at Pergamum were told to repent for idolatry and sexually immoral behavior or the Lord was going to fight against them with the sword of His mouth! (Revelation 2:16) Pergamon was almost destroyed by an earthquake in 262 A.D. and shortly after that it was sacked by the Goths. It never recovered, and today, like Ephesus, it lies in ruins. Hmmm… Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds. (Revelation 2:20-23 NIV) Time is given for repentance, but if they are unwilling to repent, then the unrepentant will be cast into a bed of suffering. Their ONLY escape is repentance. Again, remember that this is the Lord Jesus speaking to a disobedient and rebellious segment of His church. If they don't repent, He will repay each evildoer according to their deeds, and not their good intentions! I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. (Revelation 3:1-3 NIV) The segment of the church at the town of Sardis had the reputation of being a living church, but they were dead even though everybody thought they were successful. They had a good reputation in the world, but they were DEAD! They were not ready to meet the Lord. They were commanded to repent and wake up! Did they do it? Maybe some did, but Sardis lies in ruins today. Again, hmmm… Finally, the church at Laodicea, the lukewarm church, was commanded to repent in Revelation 3:19. Evidently the church never repented of being lukewarm and eventually disappeared from history. The city was destroyed in the 14th century and the church along with it, but the church was a useless religious relic in the city long before the destruction of that city. Laodicea is a "nice" archaeological park today. Only the ruins remain. Wow, and “hmmm” again! Could we be seeing the writing on the wall unless churches come to repentance for their evil deeds? Are you seeing where churches are spiritually around the globe, and why they need to repent? It is an ominous warning from the Head of the Church, I know, but let the truth sink in. You say, “Oh, but many churches are opening back up now. Isn't that good enough?” Some are opening back up, but did they repent of their rebellion, unbelief, and disobedience to the Scripture? Are they opening back up and acting like nothing happened? Will everything be OK for them? Is it ever OK for the unbeliever, rebellious, and the disobedient in the Bible? Hell no, but hell yes! The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk. Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts. (Revelation 9:20, 21 NIV) “Has the Lord as great a delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obedience to the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed [is better] than the fat of rams. “For rebellion is as [serious as] the sin of divination (fortune-telling), and disobedience is as [serious as] false religion and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you as king.” (1 Samuel 15:22, 23 AMP) He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. (Revelation 21:7, 8 NKJV) We already can see how cowardly the churches were in all this Covid mess. What about unbelieving? We can see how most churches rebelled against the Scripture. Unbelief or unbelieving is rebellion just like faith is obedience to the Word! The following portion of Scripture proves that beyond a shadow of a doubt. Take care, brothers and sisters, that there not be in any one of you a wicked, unbelieving heart [which refuses to trust and rely on the Lord, a heart] that turns away from the living God. But continually encourage one another every day, as long as it is called “Today” [and there is an opportunity], so that none of you will be hardened [into settled rebellion] by the deceitfulness of sin [its cleverness, delusive glamour, and sophistication]. For we [believers] have become partakers of Christ [sharing in all that the Messiah has for us], if only we hold firm our newborn confidence [which originally led us to Him] until the end, while it is said, “Today [while there is still opportunity] if you hear His voice, Do not harden your heart, as when they provoked Me [in the rebellion in the desert at Meribah].” For who were they who heard and yet provoked Him [with rebellious acts]? Was it not all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses? And with whom was He angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose dead bodies were scattered in the desert? And to whom did He swear [an oath] that they would not enter His rest, but to those who disobeyed [those who would not listen to His word]? So we see that they were not able to enter [into His rest—the promised land] because of unbelief and an unwillingness to trust in God. (Hebrews 3:12-19 Amplified Bible) Any takeaways? Yes, there are several. A Christian can yield to having an unbelieving heart. An unbelieving heart is wicked, and it turns away from the living God. That is an apostasy or falling away from the faith. Don't harden your heart by settling into rebellion because of the deceitfulness of sin. Sin is a deception. You are a partaker of Christ only IF you hold fast to your confidence or faith firmly to the end. That means that the partaker of Christ obeys God's Word willingly! It also means that you are a partaker of Jesus only IF you stand firm till the end. That means that Christians can lose their participation in Christ through sin and rebellion. (See 2 Corinthians; Hebrews 5:9, 3:6; Colossians 1:22, 23; Matthew 24:12, 13.) God is provoked and gets angry at rebellious acts when they are persisted upon. Does God get angry at sin? Not according to some erroneous theology that claims that God no longer is angry at sin. God is a just judge; He is angry throughout the day. If a person does not repent, God will wield his sword. He has prepared to shoot his bow. He has prepared deadly weapons to use against him; He gets ready to shoot flaming arrows. (Psalms 7:11-13 NET) You get it all the time, “Yes, but that was in the Old Testament. In the New Testament we only have mercy and love for sinners.” Sorry, but mercy and love are ONLY for those sinners that repent. The humble get the grace! The proud get resisted! Just in case you still don't understand that, read the book of Revelation and get a better picture of God's wrath or anger at unrighteousness. He hates it! Read Paul's own teaching on the subject. The following verse destroys the pantywaist and sissified teaching that “it is all love in the New Testament”. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people who suppress the truth by their unrighteousness. (Romans 1:18 NET- See also Ephesians 5:6 and Colossians 3:6.) Check this one out. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. (Revelation 19:15 NKJV) Yes, He still gets angry at sin. He is not the heavenly Teddy Bear of hugs and kisses that many make Him out to be. He is God. He is above all, the Sovereign One! He is Father, not sugar daddy, but the Ruler and Creator! He is THE King! And yes, God gets ticked when people refuse to repent! God calls it sin to be rebellious, unbelieving, disobedient, being unwilling to trust Him, or having a hard heart. I stated it above, but here is the Scripture reference. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble! (James 4:6; 1 Peter 5:5) The proud get nothing! Grace comes ONLY to the humble. Mark it down. Those that do not humble themselves and repent now, will fall again through the deceitfulness of sin, and shut their doors the next time the government decides to close them down. It will happen again. Bad and evil governments will attempt to shut everything down again and again. They already attempting to do it under the "variant of the Covid-19 virus". Fauci, lamestream media, and evil governments are pushing the lie of a worse virus! Not only that, watch ministers and churches that have not repented publicly of their rebellion to the Word of God. Watch how they flounder and flip-flop. They profoundly compromised their integrity to the Lord. They went so far into disobedience that they obeyed men rather than God, and they will do it again UNLESS they repent. Most churches are in full-blown preparation to take the mark of the Beast! He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:16-18 NKJV) Do you understand that right now QR codes and vaccine passports are required to buy, sell, or trade in Europe? Do you understand that this is already starting to spread to the U.S.? Have you heard of the Excelsior pass in the state of New York that limits where the unvaccinated you can congregate, exercise, or eat? Did you know that some countries are using a vaccine passport to control people's travel? Denmark has their Coronapas. Estonia has their VaccineGuard, and now the European Union has its Digital Green Certificate! Even Israel has joined the club with the country's Green Pass system. This information does not come from right wing conspiracy theory websites but from the leftist MSN news. Read the article by using that link. Note that Japan, Panama, Singapore, and Thailand are also doing the same thing or moving quickly in that direction. You don't think the Biden administration will follow suit sooner rather than later? Don't you see the clear correlation here with Revelation 13:16-18 and the mark of the beast? Are you still blind to what is happening worldwide, and the fact that this all points to the beginning of Satan's antichrist plan being released into the earth? The above is sobering and revealing. Churches that capitulated and submitted to closing their doors and followed the unscriptural, ungodly Covid mess. They passed with flying colors the antichrist test for future branding! They are ready to receive the antichrist's deception and mark UNLESS they repent and do it quickly so they are not in the category where “God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie”! Many have already fallen for a strong delusion and believe a lie! Read it in 2 Thessalonians 2:11. It refers to the coming antichrist or the beast with his lying signs and wonders used to deceive the world. (See the context in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12.) Don't leave it for tomorrow! Wake up and repent! NOTES: [1] A General History of the Robberies and Murders of the most notorious Pyrates by Captain Charles Johnson. It is a primary source of information on the golden age of pirates. It is easy to find online and download. It is full of interesting stories, biographies, exploits, and facts about the life and death of those famous pirates. [2] I got interested in pirate history while living on St. Thomas some 23 years ago. I owned a retail store that carried a few “pirate” related souvenirs. Tourists wanted to take back home a Jolly Roger (skull and cross bones) flag, bandana, key chain, mug, or something like it. [3] The brigantine was a very maneuverable and fast sailing vessel that was perfectly suited for the needs of piracy.
Matthew 5:17 NKJV “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
Galatians 6:7-9,NKJV- Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for WHATEVER a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in DUE SEASON we shall reap if we do not lose heart. We can't forget that everything pertaining to God's Kingdom operates under this principle of seed time and harvest. Something every Christian has to evaluate is just how consistent we are at sowing into our God given vision? At the end of the day it's our responsibility to make room for Kingdom of Heaven realities, allowing them to be the primary influence in our thinking. How much Kingdom exposure do you get? Matthew 13, Jesus tells us thekingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, a man took and sowed in his field… Matthew 17:20,NKJV- So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” God's not finished with you. He's eternal! You know the old saying, “Those who can't do, teach?” As we get older we may not be able to do all the things we used to do, but never forget that as we mature in the Lord, we become these living dispensers of revelation for the next generation. Or in the words of Jesus, “Out of your spirit will flow rivers of living water.” (Good in, good out!) Luke 6:45,NKJV- A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. The challenge most of us face today is that we get so busy, so occupied with the cares of this world, circumstances, life and it clouds what God is wanting to show us. (Parable of sower) Here's a reality Christians have to come to terms with, God actually expects us to live beyond our humanity, to be one of His faithful. Being faithful with our faith, demands transformation. This is why Jesus made statements like, “If you can believe, all things are possible for you.” Remember, Jesus told us, from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Everything about God and His world was spoken into existence. God's original plan for words wasn't just communication, it was creation. Here's a thought, what if we stopped using our word to describe our situation, and start using them to change our situation? Seriously, if we're going to be the faithful of the Lord, it starts with the little things. (Mustard seed) small adjustments, small decisions, small steps of faith. A big one is our tongue, after all James tells us it's the rudder of our life. Our words are the fruit of the seed that's in us. So starting now, on purpose set the course of your life, line your words up with your vision. I think we all need training and discipline in the language of faith. Job 22 says, You will decide and decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And the light of God's favor will shine on your ways. Time for a little vision prophesying. Seriously, why do you think James tells us, cursing and blessing should not be coming out of the same mouth. The Psalmist teaches us, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so” “Let the weak say, I am strong.” Roman's 4 reminds us that God is the God who calls things that be not as though they are. Ephesians tells us to imitate God like little children. Maybe this talk is a simple reminder for all of us to take a fresh look at the importance of out words. Remember, from the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Here's the deal, every believer has to start somewhere, and usually it's with one small decision, the another… (Mustard Seed) Luke 16:10,NLT- “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won't be honest with greater responsibilities.” Luke 19:17,NLT-“Well done! the king exclaimed. You are a good servant. You have been faithful with the little I entrusted to you, so you will be governor of ten cities as your reward. He went on to teach us that if we have faith as small as a mustard seed, nothing would be impossible for us. Stop thinking you've got to have this great faith. Real faith, as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. This is why God told us not to despise the day of small beginnings. Just like a seed. Remember, the kingdom of heaven is like a seed. At some point we've got to acknowledge this reality, God told us His ways are different. All His promises, His covenant comes from a world we can't see in the natural. And it's only through faith that we bring them into this world. God rarely asks us to take giant leaps of faith, usually He's simply encouraging us to take small, everyday steps discovering our life Jesus. What we have to understand is, not only is God a faith God, Corinthians tells us He is the faithful God. Bottom line, there's absolutely no other way to experience a life in Him outside of faith. Hebrews 4:2,NKJV- Indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith... What we have to understand is that our born again nature is built to live according to what He says, not according to our intelligence. Jesus' mother summed it up perfectly when she told the workers, “Whatever He says to you, do it!” His Word is truth, it's eternal, spiritual, the written image of Himself. Jesus not only instructs and encourages us in how we are to live an anointed life, He demonstrates it. This is why He tells us, the righteous are to live by faith. Romans 3:3-4,NKJV- What if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect? Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar... On the other side of us saying yes to God, there will be uncertainty, opinions, challenges, fears, obstacles we have to overcome. Maybe the question each of us has to answer is, which part of His word do we actually believe? Like He said, it all starts out like a seed, then grows to greatness. Proverbs 4:18,NLT- “The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day.” Psalm 68:19,NKJV- “Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits” If we honestly believe God daily loads us with benefits, we should get up every morning actually counting on them? It's those little steps, little adjustments that keep us moving closer to our purpose. Every Christian's gotta get this, our new lives can only be found in Him, willfully giving our lives to Him is the key to our success. What parts of your life are you still holding on too? Unwilling to trust Him with it? Remember, God rarely asks us to take giant leaps of faith, usually He's simply encouraging us to take small, everyday steps discovering the life Jesus died that we could have. He daily loads us with blessings. But until we come to the place where we honestly acknowledge and accept the Bible as Jesus actually talking to us right now, the things Jesus tells us will stay some mysterious impossibility. This is why James reminds us that we have to be doers, not just hearers, deceiving ourselves. His Word is eternal, spiritual, the written image of Himself. This is why He tells us in Numbers, I am not human, I cannot lie. At the end of the day, it simply comes down to this, exactly what do you believe. Because the same way we receive Christ is how we live in Him. This is why we have to understand, it's our responsibility to make room for Kingdom of Heaven realities, allowing them to be the primary influence in our thinking. Can you honestly say you're there? At some point, Christians have to come to terms with the fact that God actually expects us to live beyond our humanity, to be one of His faithful. Being faithful with our faith, demands transformation. This is why Jesus made statements like, “If you can believe, all things are possible for you.” Let's get this settled. After all, we are new creations in Christ. Designed to live out of a different world right in the middle of this one. Philemon 1, The sharing of our faith becomes effective when we acknowledge every good thing that Christ has put in us.

If I’m being honest, at times it’s scary to give up worldly comfort and exchange it for Godly truths. That’s because the world has this predictability about it. If you want to be accepted, then look like this. If you want more “likes”, then do this. If you desire happiness, you will find it through this, or him, or by doing this. Are you still looking for ways to be accepted and/or liked? Are you seeking fulfillment but unsuccessful at finding it? When it comes to us Christ followers we know beyond all doubt that Jesus is the answer for endless joy, true satisfaction, and everlasting contentment. And that’s only a drop in the ocean! Although His plans often don’t seem to make sense, when you submit and follow it, you’ll wish you had followed it from the beginning. In today’s episode, I talk about why it’s worth giving up worldly comfort in exchange for Godly truths despite the fact that it’s not easy, but the kingdom rewards are so worth it! Write out a prayer (or say a prayer in your heart) asking the Holy Spirit to help you with making more God-led choices over worldly ones. ⭐️-----------------⭐️ BIBLE VERSES mentioned in this episode: 1 Peter 3:3-5, Mark 8:36-37, 2 Kings 5:1-14 1 Peter 3:3-5 (NKJV) Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— 4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. 5 For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands, 1 Peter 3:3-5 (NLT) Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. 4 You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God. 5 This is how the holy women of old made themselves beautiful. They put their trust in God and accepted the authority of their husbands. Mark 8:36-37 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? 37 Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? 2 Kings 5:1-14 This is the passage about Naaman, his healing of leprosy, and God’s beyond-human-understanding instructions to go into the (muddy) Jordan river for healing when there were other rivers that were crystal clear. S “Essential: Finding Worth in Your Work During Uncertain Times” was released February 2 and is now available on Amazon and other sites as it gets distributed. Here’s the announcement on ChristianPost.com Here’s the book landing page with a link to the YouVerion/Bible.com plan and some exclusive bonus material First Light Devotional by Pastor Brian Biggers, Lamb's Chapel, Burlington, NC Having to Have Your Way is Highly Overrated! If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live at peace with all men. Romans 12:18 Do you know what is better than always having to have your own way? Always having peace on the inside! We now live in a day when people are hell bent on being right and having their own way in everything. The prevailing attitude is that if I can't have my way, I'll burn the place to the ground! Our nation has embraced the scorched earth attitude. The Bible warned that a day like this would come when men would be "demanding and irreconcilable". The result of this attitude is the loss of peace in people's lives and the public square. Is there anybody out there like myself that would like to return to "Mayberry days" when people were willing to bend in order to enjoy a life of peace and community? Even Otis was respected and shown some mercy! Scripture tells us that this selfishness that would prevail in the latter day would create "stressful times" to live in. Is not the root of all stress people valuing "their way" above peace? What does God call us to do in these trying days of "my way or the highway"? The answer is in today's verse. We are clearly commanded to pursue peace with all people as much as is possible with us. Before you will pursue peace above being right you have to begin to value peace above being right. Question; which would you rather do, win an argument or enjoy your day? If you win the argument, congratulations! You are miserable inside, you just lost a friend, but by grannies, you won! Personally, in this ripe old age I've decided that enjoying life, being at peace inside, keeping my friends and being a living testimony to the grace of God beats being right any day! As I told a man who was arguing with his wife once and wanted me to side in with him, "you can be right or you can be warm tonight, its your choice"! Its certainly not original with me but, "if mama ain't happy..."! No doubt there are times when conflict is unavoidable and we need to confront that which is evil, dangerous or unbiblical, but most of the things that divide us and make life miserable are not in that category. In the majority of cases we can choose peace over strive if we want to. Jesus did not say "blessed are the peacekeepers", He said "blessed are the peace makers". We are called to "make" peace. Do whatever is necessary to create peace in the heart, home and land. I hear it out there somewhere, "but I am right, and they are wrong"! Even if that is true, follow the example of our Master who was right when I was wrong (want to argue?), yet He took the initiative to "create peace between man and God". Do you want to live the abundant, satisfying, enjoyable life on this earth that Jesus promises? Start choosing peace over "right". Dear Jesus, you were right, and I was wrong. Thank you for choosing peace over judgement! Please give me grace to do the same! I totally agree with everything Pastor Brian has said and that we should be peacemakers in our families, with our friends, and at our work, and that needs to be intentional, because it goes against our flesh and sinful nature to do so. I want to add my own thoughts to this and that is that being a peacemaker doesn't mean that we should continue to invest in everyone's lives and pursue everyone's approval. Jesus clearly set priorities for who he invested in with his time and energy with his Disciples, and when he sent out the Disciples to share the Gospel, he added in Mark 6:11 NKJV "And whoever will not receive you nor hear you, when you depart from there, shake off the dust under your feet as a testimony against them. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!”" Matt 7:6 NKJV “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces." I don't claim to fully understand Matthew 7:6, and I've heard it taught and interpreted in different ways. One interpretation is that we should not continue to invest ourselves and our time in those who are rejecting what we have to say. Everyone needs to hear the Gospel, but we should not assume that we're totally responsible for someone receiving it. Paul pointed out in 1 Corinthians 3:6 - NKJV that we don't know exactly how our actions will play a role in impacting someone but ultimately it's up to God not us. Paul says "I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase." After Paul preached a powerful message Acts 17:32-34 says "32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked, while others said, “We will hear you again on this matter.” 33 So Paul departed from among them. 34 However, some men joined him and believed, among them Dionysius the Areopagite, a woman named Damaris, and others with them." Paul did what he was called to do, but he could not control who received the message and who did not, but what did he do? He left them, he moved on. How do we apply this in our lives? Well, when it comes to our work, don't make someone your spiritual project. Be obedient to what you believe the Holy Spirit is leading you to do and say, and move on. Love everyone, be at peace at everyone to the extent we can, but find a core group of believers at work with whom you will invest most of your time and energy. These principles ar true of acquaintances at work, it's true of our friends outside of work, and believe it or not, it's true of family members as well. We may feel the need to be close to all our family members, our parents, our siblings, etc. and for them to agree with us or rather for us to agree with them, particularly about important matters of faith. Proverbs 27:10b NKJV says "Better is a neighbor nearby than a brother far away." In Mark 3:31-35 NKJV "31 Then His brothers and His mother came, and standing outside they sent to Him, calling Him. 32 And a multitude was sitting around Him; and they said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers [h]are outside seeking You.” 33 But He answered them, saying, “Who is My mother, or My brothers?” 34 And He looked around in a circle at those who sat about Him, and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! 35 For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother.” The Bible commands us to honor our father and mother, but it also says in Genesis 2:24 "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh." I'm not aware of any command in the Bible for us to be close to our siblings. E Harrel at Lowes. Super helpful as we were looking at replacing our wrotten door going onto our back deck. I don't know if he's a believer, but I shared with him this podcast, so if you're listening Harrel, thanks for doing such a great job. One thing I liked was how he handled interruptions. When someone came up to him for help, he immediately addressed them, which was considerate to them for not making them wait, and let them know that he would help them as soon as he was finished with my wife and I, which was considerate to us. Even if we don't work in retail, I think we can all find ways to learn from how Harrel handled this. L He who is slothful in his work Is a brother to him who is a great destroyer. Proverbs 18:9 - NKVJ A i went to tell you about something I'm really excited about that you may be interested in as well, and it's an opportunity to get involved with a company called Onpassive. I've been an engineer for the last 13 years, but as some of you may know who have heard my testimony this is not my first stint at being an engineer. I worked full-time for 7 years as an engineer working for General Mills, helped launch products like Multi-Grain Cheerios and Frosted Cheerios and share a patent for unique way to make cracked grains in cereal flakes. Well, in 2000 I quite my job as an engineer and spent the next 8 years flipping houses and buying, renting, and selling investment property. There were a lot of promise made about getting rich quick. That combined with me some poor decisions on my part resulted in that business failing. I made the right choice to go back to engineering, and I enjoy it, but I've never lost a bit entrepreneurship in my blood and I do believe in the power of passive income. This side of my personality contributed toward me starting up and running this podcast but I've also kept my eye out for the right part-time business that could provide some added income for me and my wife, especially that would leverage the power of the internet and not demand much of my time. I believe I've found just that opportunity. A friend of mine shared it with me, and I was skeptical as I always will be, both because of my experience going bankrupt as well as my nature is to be detail oriented and check things out thoroughly. A man named Ash Mufarah started this up a few years ago. His vision was to have a portfolio of software applications that would work together and be an improvement over what's currently available. He also set this up so that a maximum number of people can benefit from it without having to spend a lot of time on it. Here's what I like about this opportunity: 1. It requires only a small up front investment 2. It has a massive market - pretty much everyone needs these tools in one way or another 3. It offers an alternative to the Big Tech offerings currently available, and from what I've observed so far they are committed to not just created a me-too version but rather to have a point of difference and be significantly better than the competition 4. It gives you a chance to be a part of something before it launches. They're planning on launching like 50 products and have just started to release them for beta testing. The first one, O-Cademy is so powerful. It will allow children and adults to get the best training online and it will allow content creators and teachers to share their knowledge teaching others and make an income doing it. I could go on about this one product, but my main point is that this one product is so powerful and has huge potential and it's just one product. 2 Timothy 1:1-7 New King James Version Greeting 1 Paul, an apostle of [a]Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus, 2 To Timothy, a beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. Timothy’s Faith and Heritage 3 I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did, as without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day, 4 greatly desiring to see you, being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled with joy, 5 when I call to remembrance the [b]genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also. 6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Fear? From Apocolyto: Flint Sky: Those people in the forest, what did you see on them? Jaguar Paw: I do not understand. Flint Sky: Fear. Deep rotting fear. They were infected by it. Did you see? Fear is a sickness. It will crawl into the soul of anyone who engages it. It has tainted your peace already. I did not raise you to see you live with fear. Strike it from your heart. Do not bring it into our village. Genesis 26:24 (NKJV) And the LORD appeared to him the same night and said, “I [am] the God of your father Abraham; do not fear, for I [am] with you. Matthew 10:31 (NKJV) “Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. Hebrews 13:6 (NKJV) So we may boldly say: “The LORD [is] my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Revelation 2:10 (NKJV) “Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw [some] of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. 1 John 4:18 (NKJV) There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. Ezekiel 30:13 (NKJV) ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “I will also destroy the idols, And cause the images to cease from Noph; There shall no longer be princes from the land of Egypt; I will put fear in the land of Egypt. Romans 8:15 (NKJV) For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” Genesis 15:1 (NKJV) After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I [am] your shield, your exceedingly great reward.” Exodus 14:13 (NKJV) And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. What can man do to me? Proverbs 3:25 (NKJV) Do not be afraid of sudden terror, Nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes; Isaiah 8:12 (NKJV) “Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,’ Concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, Nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled. Jeremiah 42:11 (NKJV) ‘Do not be afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom you are afraid; do not be afraid of him,’ says the LORD, ‘for I [am] with you, to save you and deliver you from his hand. Matthew 14:27 (NKJV) But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” Revelation 1:17 (NKJV) And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.

THE ELDER BROTHER MENTALITY. ““Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. And he said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.' “But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. So he answered and said to his father, ‘Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.' “And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.' ”” Luke 15:25-32 NKJV Do not let the fact that you have been around the church for so long let you loose focus of the ministry purpose. Understand that Growth is always about new people/ new additions 8 Spiritual to guard against in the organisation/ the church. 1. THE UNFORGIVING SPIRIT .... the elder brother said>> this son of yours....no more my brother, he was disconnecting himself from his family. There is No view of the grace of God from the elder brother mentality The father is welcoming and the son is unforgiving. 2. CONTROLLING SPIRIT... you want to have a say in everything/ consulted first. Let the father be. 3. DESERVING/ ENTITLEMENT SPIRIT...I deserve it/ pastor must bury me. Let not your loyalty to the vision turn into poison. Be a point of good reference. Do not turn your longevity to a curse. The voice of someone outside has less power than the one inside the house/ inside there is elder brother. The elder brother inside the house is more influential because you trust them. Be a custodian of only the good news about your church and vision. Tell the good news. Be the stability, focus 4. THE SPIRIT OF NOT KNOWING WHO YOU ARE INSIDE THE HOUSE OF GOD. Understand that all that belongs to your father belongs to you, no need to worry about the elder brother. Own up the vision.tithe, pray, you are the owner. Understand your power, this vision is yours.understand your role. There is a reason we call Him OUR FATHER. 5. THE DESSENT SPIRIT... THE DISETISED SPIRIT. Enquirer from the sons Bout the father. Discussing matters of the house with the servants instead of the father. Don't spread gossip with the lower 6. THE ANGER SPIRIT....Angry others are used by God more than Him.God is a God of presence. Difficult to work with people who are angry. 7. ARROGANT SPIRIT/ I WANT TO BE BEGGED SPIRIT. The father had to come out to beg him/ coming to beg/ plead/ explain himself.... 8. BUSY BUT NOT CONNECTED WITH THE HEART OF GOD OR THE PASTOR IN THE HOUSE.

LUKE 1:1-4 (NIV)Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the things that have been accomplished among us, just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word have delivered them to us, it seemed good to me also, having followed all things closely for some time past, to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, that you may have certainty concerning the things you have been taught.LUKE 1:1-4 (ESV)I HAD A FEELING GOD IS ALWAYS TALKING. WE JUST ARE NOT ALWAYS LISTENING.“it seemed good to me also, having followed all things closely for some time past, to write an orderly account for you,”God speaks to us through many different avenues.“And if what you see is all you see, Then you do not see all there is to be seen” - Kirk FranklinBalaam got up in the morning, saddled his donkey and went with the Moabite officials. But God was very angry when he went, and the angel of the Lord stood in the road to oppose him. Balaam was riding on his donkey, and his two servants were with him. When the donkey saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road with a drawn sword in his hand, it turned off the road into a field. Balaam beat it to get it back on the road. Then the angel of the Lord stood in a narrow path through the vineyards, with walls on both sides. When the donkey saw the angel of the Lord, it pressed close to the wall, crushing Balaam’s foot against it. So he beat the donkey again. Then the angel of the Lord moved on ahead and stood in a narrow place where there was no room to turn, either to the right or to the left. When the donkey saw the angel of the Lord, it lay down under Balaam, and he was angry and beat it with his staff. Then the Lord opened the donkey’s mouth, and it said to Balaam, “What have I done to you to make you beat me these three times?”Balaam answered the donkey, “You have made a fool of me! If only I had a sword in my hand, I would kill you right now.”The donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your own donkey, which you have always ridden, to this day? Have I been in the habit of doing this to you?”“No,” he said. Then the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road with his sword drawn. So he bowed low and fell facedown.NUMBERS 22:21-31Sometimes the message God is giving us is loud and clear, but we don’t recognize God in the message. You know how the enemy will keep you from acting on that feeling that the Holy Spirit is giving you? By getting you to a place where you believe that the word God has given you doesn’t matter because others have already said it.God wants YOUR voiceGod wanted LUKE’S voice IF YOU DOWNPLAY THE PURPOSE OF YOUR VOICE, YOU DOWNPLAY THE VOICE OF GOD IN YOUR LIFE.It takes faith.“Luke was able to write the word because he was acquainted with the Word.”You cannot discern the voice of God in your life if you don’t know what He sounds like…So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.ROMANS 10:17 (NKJV)Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.ROMANS 12:2 (ESV)ARE YOU ACQUAINTED WITH THE WORD?

1 John 2:15-17 (NKJV) “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.” People have a problem loving God because they are buried alive by the love of the world. Genesis 3:1-7 (NLT) The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord has made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?” “Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied. “It's only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, “You must not eat or even touch it; if you do, you will die.” “You won't die!” The serpent replied to the woman. “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.” The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it, then she gave some to her husband who was with her and he ate it to. At that moment they felt shame at their nakedness.” Lust of the eyes (she saw) lust of flesh (beautiful/delicious) and pride of life (what it would do for her). Ephesians 2:1–2 NKJK “And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience” 1 John 5:19 NLT “The world around us is under control of the evil one”. John 12:31 NLT “The time for judging this world has come, when satan, the ruler of this world will be cast out. And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself.” You can't enjoy the love of God when your enduring the love of the world. Romans 10:13 “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved!”
Ezek. 3:16-21 (NKJV) Do we as Christians have a responsibility to share with others about God? Does it really matter what I do or don’t do? God is very specific about warning people about the dangers of sin and death. God specifically tells us to warn sinners about the results of sin. God specifically tells […]
Let’s Pray! On this very first day of June, a new month that we have never seen before, we can thank God for a Brand New Start! “This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope.22 Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.23 They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness!” Lamentations 3:21 – 23, NKJV - “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it?” Isaiah 43:17 – 19, NKJV. “But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14, KJV.
Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel of Yucca Valley, CA February 3, 2013. [1Ti 5:1 NKJV] - Do not rebuke an older man, but exhort [him] as a father, younger men as brothers, [1Ti 5:2 NKJV] - older women as mothers, younger women as sisters, with all purity. [1Ti 5:3 NKJV] - Honor widows who are really widows. [1Ti 5:4 NKJV] - But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to show piety at home and to repay their parents; for this is good and acceptable before God. [1Ti 5:5 NKJV] - Now she who is really a widow, and left alone, trusts in God and continues in supplications and prayers night and day. [1Ti 5:6 NKJV] - But she who lives in pleasure is dead while she lives. [1Ti 5:7 NKJV] - And these things command, that they may be blameless. [1Ti 5:8 NKJV] - But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. [1Ti 5:9 NKJV] - Do not let a widow under sixty years old be taken into the number, [and not unless] she has been the wife of one man, [1Ti 5:10 NKJV] - well reported for good works: if she has brought up children, if she has lodged strangers, if she has washed the saints' feet, if she has relieved the afflicted, if she has diligently followed every good work. [1Ti 5:11 NKJV] - But refuse [the] younger widows; for when they have begun to grow wanton against Christ, they desire to marry, [1Ti 5:12 NKJV] - having condemnation because they have cast off their first faith. [1Ti 5:13 NKJV] - And besides they learn [to be] idle, wandering about from house to house, and not only idle but also gossips and busybodies, saying things which they ought not. [1Ti 5:14 NKJV] - Therefore I desire that [the] younger [widows] marry, bear children, manage the house, give no opportunity to the adversary to speak reproachfully. [1Ti 5:15 NKJV] - For some have already turned aside after Satan. [1Ti 5:16 NKJV] - If any believing man or woman has widows, let them relieve them, and do not let the church be burdened, that it may relieve those who are really widows. [1Ti 5:17 NKJV] - Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine. [1Ti 5:18 NKJV] - For the Scripture says, "You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain," and, "The laborer [is] worthy of his wages." [1Ti 5:19 NKJV] - Do not receive an accusation against an elder except from two or three witnesses. [1Ti 5:20 NKJV] - Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear. [1Ti 5:21 NKJV] - I charge [you] before God and the Lord Jesus Christ and the elect angels that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing with partiality. [1Ti 5:22 NKJV] - Do not lay hands on anyone hastily, nor share in other people's sins; keep yourself pure. [1Ti 5:23 NKJV] - No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for your stomach's sake and your frequent infirmities. [1Ti 5:24 NKJV] - Some men's sins are clearly evident, preceding [them] to judgment, but those of some [men] follow later. [1Ti 5:25 NKJV] - Likewise, the good works [of some] are clearly evident, and those that are otherwise cannot be hidden.
