This week Tom & Zeus review the 2010 solo album from former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick, "BK3." BK3 is Bruce Kulick's 3rd solo album. It features a lot of guests, including, KISS members, Gene Simmons and Eric Singer. It also has appearances Nick Simmons, Steve Lukather and Doug Fieger and also from Bruce's band Union, drummer Brent Fitz and singer John Corabi. The album was filled with a variety of songs and styles. The songs have different singers including Bruce Kulick. Bruce co-wrote all the songs. This is the 8th album by KISS members outside of KISS that SIOL has reviewed. On the 71st Episode of the Album Review Crew of Shout It Out Loudcast, Tom, Zeus welcome back special guest, musician, actor, writer, producer, podcast host of ROCKTAILS, Ahmet Zappa, to review the 1984 classic hard rock album "Out Of The Cellar," by RATT. Ratt was at the forefront of the LA hard rock/metal scene and Out Of The Cellar pushed them to the top. Let by charismatic frontman, Stephen Pearcy whose unique vocals stood out and the guitar attack of Robbin Crosby and Warren DeMartini. Juan Croucier was the bassist and Bobby Blotzer on drums. Out Of The Cellar made it to #7 on Billboard album charts and eventually went 3 times platinum. Their videos and singles, Wanted Man & Back For More have stood the test of time. Their classic Round And Round may be a Mount Rushmore song of the era, especially their video which was all over MTV. Whether it's called melodic rock, hair metal, glam rock or just hard rock, The album is considered of the era and has stood the test of time. On the 70th Episode of the Album Review Crew of Shout It Out Loudcast, Tom, Zeus & special guest, former MTV VJ, TV and radio host, Matt Pinfield review the 1992 Alice In Chains album, "Dirt." Grunge was in full effect by the time Dirt was released. This album cemented Alice In Chains as a leader. Singer Layne Staley continued his incredible, unique vocals and added songwriting as well. Guitarist Jerry Cantrell wrote most of lyrics and began to sing more and showed more of his innovative riffs and guitar style. Mike Starr on bass and Sean Kinney on drums formed one of the best rhythm sections. Dirt made it to #6 on Billboard album charts and eventually went 5 times platinum. They released 5 singles and 5 videos as well. The album is considered a classic and one of the best albums of the 1990's and the grunge era. On the 70th Episode of the Album Review Crew of Shout It Out Loudcast, Tom, Zeus & special guest, former MTV VJ, TV and radio host, Matt Pinfield review the 1992 Alice In Chains album, "Dirt." Grunge was in full effect by the time Dirt was released. This album cemented Alice In Chains as a leader. Singer Layne Staley continued his incredible, unique vocals and added songwriting as well. Guitarist Jerry Cantrell wrote most of lyrics and began to sing more and showed more of his innovative riffs and guitar style. Mike Starr on bass and Sean Kinney on drums formed one of the best rhythm sections. Dirt made it to #6 on Billboard album charts and eventually went 5 times platinum. They released 5 singles and 5 videos as well. The album is considered a classic and one of the best albums of the 1990's and the grunge era. This was the Tom's pick and the second Alice In Chains album reviewed on ARC. So get out of rehab and grab some flannel and crank this album!
