This week Tom & Zeus review the 2010 Sonic Boom Over Europe Tour which was in support of their 19th studio album, "Sonic Boom." This is SIOL's 13th KISS tour reviewed. Sonic Boom was released on October 6, 2009 and the tour began on May 1, 2010 in Sheffield, England in and ended at the Graspop Metal Meeting Festival in Belgium on June 27, 2010. This tour was with the final KISS lineup of Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer. The tour was strictly in Europe. When the support of the album went to the United States it was referred as the Hottest Show On Earth Tour, which SIOL already covered on Episode 121. The stage was different from the Alive 35 tour and featured a huge HD video screen and KISS updated costumes which modernized their 1970's look with a variety of different items. The setlist featured 3 new songs from Sonic Boom, Modern Day Delilah which opened the show, Say Yeah and I'm An Animal, and many of the classic songs from KISS. As usual, the guys breakdown the costumes, stage, set list and overall tour. They then rank the costumes, stage, set list and overall tour against the previous tours reviewed so far. This week Tom & Zeus review the 2025 solo album from former KISS founding member and drummer Peter Criss, called "Peter Criss!" Peter's highly anticipated solo album was released on December 19, 2025. The self-titled album is Peter's 6th solo album It features guests, like John 5, Paul Shaffer, Billy Sheehan, Piggy D and more. The album was produced by Peter Criss and Barry Pointer. All lyrics were written by Peter and the music was composed by Peter and Mike McLaughlin who played lead and rhythm guitar on the album, with the exception of the 3 songs that John 5 played on. The album was filled with a variety of songs and styles. However, it is probably the most rock record ever done by Peter Criss. This is the 9th album by KISS members outside of KISS that SIOL has reviewed. As usual they rank the songs and then rank the album and covers against the eight previous KISS member albums outside of KISS. Make sure you hear BOTH opinions because they are NOT the same! This week Tom & Zeus review the 1992 Revenge Tour which was in support of their 16th studio album, Revenge. This is SIOL's 12th KISS tour reviewed. Revenge was released on May 19, 1992 and the tour began on April 23, 1992 in San Francisco in a club and ended December 20, 1992 This is known as the Revenge Era lineup. New Drummer Eric Singer joins KISS after the tragic death of beloved drummer, Eric Carr. The stage has a statute of liberty which changes during the show. KISS is now dressed in black leather and the "Demon" Gene Simmons is back! The setlist featured as many as 6 new songs from Revenge, and many of the classic songs from KISS. The setlist actually rotated ... imagine that! As usual, the guys breakdown the costumes, stage, set list and overall tour. They then rank the costumes, stage, set list and overall tour against the previous tours reviewed so far. This episode is a little extra jerky so is you want to watch some asses shakin' to the noise the boys are makin' make sure to tune in! This week Tom & Zeus review the 1992 Revenge Tour which was in support of their 16th studio album, Revenge. This is SIOL's 12th KISS tour reviewed. Revenge was released on May 19, 1992 and the tour began on April 23, 1992 in San Francisco in a club and ended December 20, 1992 This is known as the Revenge Era lineup. New Drummer Eric Singer joins KISS after the tragic death of beloved drummer, Eric Carr. The stage has a statute of liberty which changes during the show. KISS is now dressed in black leather and the "Demon" Gene Simmons is back! The setlist featured as many as 6 new songs from Revenge, and many of the classic songs from KISS. The setlist actually rotated ... imagine that! As usual, the guys breakdown the costumes, stage, set list and overall tour. This week Tom & Zeus open Season 8 of Shout It Out Loudcast with a review of the most quintessential KISS compilation, the 1978 "Double Platinum!" This SIOL's 12th compilation review. This was KISS' first compilation and came out in a period where KISS would release 7 albums in two years including 2 double albums, one of which is Double Platinum. This compilation covers songs from 1974 - 1977, containing containing 20 songs from the first 6 KISS studio albums. The album was certified platinum and was produced by the great Sean Delaney. He remixed the songs and made some controversial changes to many of the tracks, including a new disco version of "Strutter" called "Strutter '78" but lovingly called "Disco Strutter" on SIOL. The album cover with its silver color KISS logos and red Double Platinum writing is legendary. When opened there were embossed images of the band members that were fascinating to view. The guys breakdown the track selection and then rank the compilation album and cover versus the previous reviewed compilation albums. A classic album from the classic era of KISS. It features a lot of guests, including, KISS members, Gene Simmons and Eric Singer. It also has appearances from Nick Simmons, Steve Lukather and Doug Fieger and also from Bruce's band Union, drummer Brent Fitz and singer John Corabi. The album was filled with a variety of songs and styles. The songs have different singers including Bruce Kulick. Bruce co-wrote all the songs.
