When Jacintha stepped behind the camera, she confronted her deepest fears of cultural ostracism only to be met with an outpouring of support that surprised even her. Her story, rooted in the rich tapestry of Singapore and Indian cinema, is a testament to the transformative power of film in bridging communities and giving voice to the silent struggles within them. This episode unfolds Jacintha's courageous journey from actress to filmmaker, revealing the tenacity it takes to challenge stereotypes and the unexpected embrace of narratives that resonate deeply with women, survivors, and the youth. The book: No Visible Bruises is by Rachel Louise Snyder Consider ordering the book from Banter Bookshop if you are interested: 510-565-1004 or contactus@banterbookshop.com NARIKA is the organization mentioned by our guest in this episode that helps with domestic violence. https://www.narika.org/ SAVE (Safe Alternatives to Violent Environments) is a Fremont-based organization that also helps with domestic violence. https://save-dv.org/ The Fremont chapter of Room Redux supports children who have been through abusive situations. https://bayareacali.roomredux.org/ An article about all the recent independent films that are coming out of Fremont can be read here. https://www.sfgate.com/sf-culture/article/didi-sundance-fremont-movie-18635639.php The very fun and silly 1996 film Army Daze is available in full on YouTube.Fremont Bank has been serving our community for over 60 year. SummaryIn this conversation, Dr. Edward Bartlett discusses feminism, gender transitioning, and the influence of Marxism in society. He highlights the discrepancy between feminism's claim of gender equality and its focus on uniformity of outcome. Dr. Bartlett also explores the silence of feminists on the issue of gender transitioning and the negative consequences it can have, particularly on children. He emphasizes the importance of family and the detrimental effects of Marxism on society. Additionally, Dr. Bartlett introduces SAVE (Stop Abusive and Violent Environments), an organization focused on fighting against the politicization of Title IX and promoting fairness in schools.TakeawaysFeminism often focuses on uniformity of outcome rather than true gender equality. The silence of feminists on the issue of gender transitioning is concerning.Marxism has infiltrated various aspects of society, including the UN and education. It is important to protect the family unit and involve parents in decisions regarding their children's welfare.Chapters00:00Introduction to the Topic01:16Feminism and Expectations02:01Feminism and Gender Equality03:27Gender Transitioning and Feminism04:08The Quasi-Logical Explanation06:20Silence on Gender Transitioning08:21Social Media's Influence09:22Gender Dysphoria and Social Contagion10:21Tragic Consequences of Gender Transitioning11:21Boxing Parents Out of Children's Welfare12:31Arrogance and Destruction of the Family13:17Marxism in the UN14:09UN Women and Anti-Zionism15:30Cutting Off Funding to the United Nations18:41Rise of Anti-Semitism and Marxist Ideology19:27Marxism's Opposition to the Family21:06Introduction to SAVE22:39Proposed Changes to Title IX23:08Getting Involved with SAVE24:55Changing the Direction of Education26:26The Silent Majority27:36Marxism's Infiltration of Education28:12The Reality of Marxism29:00Leaders Speaking Out Against Marxism30:20ConclusionSupport the show"Wherever you find yourself is exactly and precisely where God wills you to be" Follow us on X: @CFC30290 Follow us on Rumble: https://rumble.com/c/c-3123766 Website: https://clarityfromchaospodcast.buzzsprout.com/ Thanks for listening to Clarity from Chaos

— Exploring the relationship between mental health, emotions, and the body - many mental health diagnosis not only have a mental and emotional impact on functioning, but also include a somatic component of expression. In mental health care, we must celebrate the scientific reintegration of mind and body in order to address the entirety of who we are as human beings. Simultaneously, it's beneficial to observe the systems within which we are also embedded that either feed or starve the health of us not only as individuals, but also as communities. The mental health field is growing with evidence-based practices and modalities that embrace the mind-body-community connection allowing for deeper trauma and emotional processing. Such modalities include EMDR therapy, somatic therapy, and expressive art therapy. Valeria Teles interviews Anjana Khosla  — a Mental Health Therapist, Licensed Marriage And Family Therapist (LMFT), And Speaker Anjana's interest in the therapeutic arts began at age 14 in 1997, when she volunteered to spend time with elderly clients in an assisted living facility (Manor Care Nursing in San Jose, CA), providing residents company every Saturday throughout the entirety of high school. While obtaining her undergraduate degree in Cognitive Science at University of California San Diego, Anjana volunteered at Ronald McDonald House for Children offering comfort and support to families with terminally ill children. In 2012, while she was working as a Research Associate at Kaiser Permanente (Santa Clara, CA), I volunteered as an advocate with the YWCA SART (Sexual Assault Response Team) and decided that her true calling was as a therapist. From there, Anjana began her journey through graduate school, followed with experience as a MFT Trainee at Safe Alternatives to Violent Environments and Associate MFT at Family and Children Services. Anjana now works for Nashville Center for Trauma and Psychotherapy. She believes every human being deserves to be seen and live in a way that brings about peace, self-love, and a positive self-image. Her goal is to provide all her clients with the information and tools we each need and deserve to live as fully as possible. To learn more about Anjana Khosla and her work, please visit: nashvilletherapy.co/anjana-khosla       — This podcast is a quest for well-being, a quest for a meaningful life through the exploration of fundamental truths, enlightening ideas, insights on physical, mental, and spiritual health. The inspiration is Love. The aspiration is to awaken new ways of thinking that can lead us to a new way of being, being well.

Female-only science programs, launched by many universities to redress gender imbalance in such fields as computer science and engineering, are coming under growing legal attack as sex discrimination against men. The U.S. Department of Education has opened more than two dozen investigations into universities across the nation that offer female-only scholarships, awards, professional development workshops and even science and engineering camps for middle and high school girls. Sex discrimination in educational programs is banned under Title IX, a federal law that applies to all schools, both public and private, that receive federal funding. Everett Bartlett, president of the Stop Abusive and Violent Environments, will join me to discuss the issue. In the second hour, I'm joined by Ron Edwards to discuss multiple topics. Don't forget about the Edwards Notebook and the Veteran's Tip of the Day! All of this and more as time allows.
