Approximately half of the industrial sectors in Germany are anticipating job losses, cuts or layoffs this year. 22 out of 46 business associations are preparing to downsize their labor force.  Only 9 of the 46 are expected to increase hiring.   Job losses are expected in auto manufacturing, the textile sector, wood and paper fabrication.  Job gains are expected in aerospace, shipbuilding and defense production – i.e. the war machinery. If no candidate wins a majority in the jungle election (during which all candidates run against one another regardless of party), a runoff with the top two vote-getters takes place 28 days later. By prolonging her election, Greene all but assures her seat will be empty during a period where Trump and Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) — and the American people dependent on a functioning federal government — may need every vote they can get.
