This Sunday was a pivot moment for our community. Our Prayer Room Coordinator Hope Wright received a powerful prophetic word from the Lord..." Super Bloom" which is a natural phenomenon where desert mountainous fields will have dormant wildflower seeds underground for years, and after an unusually rainy season, the flowers bloom all at once creating a wondrous landscape that can even sometimes be seen from space.Pastor Matt shared this word on Sunday as an affirmation and hope we can hold onto as we pray and cry out for the rain of God's love to pour out on our church family that has been in a dry season of suffering and waiting for very long. We are hopeful for the super bloom to come soon, and we will praise Him even in the waiting.Big House Church is cultivating a community of passionate worshippers who partner with Jesus to create a kingdom culture on earth as it is in heaven. We regularly meet on Sundays @ 9 & 11 AM at the Zeider Theater in Town Center Virginia Beach. *SPECIAL SERVICE Sunday, June 8th - we'll have a combined 10 AM service at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.Learn more at www.bighousechurch.com.

It was part of the Virginia Women's Conference at the Virginia Beach Convention Center hosted by Senator Mark Warner. I think we filled up the entire building! The energy at the conference was incredible - especially when you looked around and thought about what these women had to do to get there. Panty hose, party dresses and pumps for a day-long Saturday event. Everyone looked incredible! I was there to moderate a workshop on how to build a thriving community. Living in a condominium is all about convenience-- maintenance-free, amenity-rich living. But there are community association rules to follow and condo ownership may not be for everyone. In fact, a community association may even take away your home for not paying maintenance fees. Today we'll get a view of condo living and explore any changes in the laws of owning one. Our guests will also talk about what you should know if you are considering a condo and take your questions related to the one you might already own. The Southeastern Virginia Chapter of the Community Associations Institute is holding its 25th annual Trade Show & Education Expo (CA DAY 2011) for community associations on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center in Virginia Beach. CA DAY is from 7:30am until 4:30pm, registration starts at 7:30 am. For more information visit - www.sevacai.org.
