What I want to do is share some ways you can spend 40 days….whether religiously...spiritually…but without a doubt, intentionally! So Lent began on Ash Wednesday FEB 17. Lent is a season of reflection and preparation before the celebrations of Easter. By observing the 40 days of Lent, Christians replicate Jesus Christ's sacrifice and withdrawal into the desert for 40 days. Lent is marked by fasting, both from food and festivities. Typically I will give up cookies (I am a cookie monster), pizza, beer, wine – my many indulgences. I recently started a wellness plan that cut organizally has cut out all of my indulgence categories...so I had to do some extra pondering on how to reserve this time.  So I want to share a journey of 40 days of TAKING ON – rather than 40 days of GIVING UP.   And there are about 30 days left in Lent...so if you need any inspiration of how you can spend the next 30 days with INTENTION - here it is!!  Check out all the Auddly Links at: Linktr.ee/AuddlyEnoughPodcast --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/audrey-broyles/message

If you are like me….I have fell into the trap where I start pinning and posting inspirational quotes, which is good and well – but with no production behind it. So what we are going to do over the next several weeks, is break it down in bite-size pieces - first up: The Purpose Statement.  If we don't start the year with some sort of purpose statement, we might find ourselves meandering around, and next thing we know, we find ourselves saying “next year is the year”.  Just like your company has a mission statement, so must you!  We will break it down into 3 Easy Steps.   Referenced: @JayShetty & @BrendonBurchard (MUST follows on Instagram).   Speaking of social media... A solo mini-episode coming at you to start the week.  WORDS....  There's so dang many of them.   There's so many ways we can say the things we want to say.  And often, we find that it is not WHAT you say, but HOW you say it.  Let's unpack that with a few real-life anecdotes, and application.  I will leave you with this challenge...if you choose to accept it-- When you find yourself inclined to judge a person for the way they are speaking or behaving (now more than ever), before you open your mouth to respond, check yourself and your story by asking yourself:  Why would a reasonable, rational, decent human being do this? I am telling you, it is a game-changer.  I would love to interact with you on FB or Insta! @AuddlyEnoughPodcast If you prefer a YouTube format, all the ways in which you can listen to the show can be found at https://linktr.ee/auddlyenoughpodcast Thanks for tuning in - stay AWESOME! Fear of leg day., or bad breath.   If we're being a little more serious….Fear of flying...snakes…spiders...heights...the dark.  What about the fears that really hold us back in life?Fear of rejection…fear of failure…uncertainty….loneliness…or change. Do you have any overarching fears that are holding you back from getting what you really want? Fear can hold you back in your career, relationships, and your dreams. If we go back to our roots, often times as children we are taught that being fearful is being a scaredy cat, or a chicken.  Fear is good ya'll!   Fear doesn't have to get the worst of us.  I share some insights from my personal journey, and a few excerpts from Jay Shett's Think Like a Monk to unpack the root of fear, and how we can take back control.  Cause fear is a dear friend - she ain't going anywhere...we might as well find a way to better embrace!  Would love to interact with you on FB or Insta! @AuddlyEnoughPodcast The episodes can also be viewed as YouTube videos.  Check out the suite of platforms at https://linktr.ee/auddlyenoughpodcast.  --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/audrey-broyles/message

But here's the thing.  We are only promised today.   And there are 15 weeks left in the year.  2520 Hours.  105 Days. To make some noise.   To freaking BRING IT!  Will you?  For the next 15 weeks, I will present a weekly focus/challenge. It will introduce a new practice to consider...or shed light that encourages you to dust off an old habit. I will talk to friends that have implemented positive practices that keep them focused on their goals.  We will laugh...we will feel feelings.  But ultimately, we will make some noise as we say (a likely not so bittersweet) goodbye to 2020.   This episode kicks off the series with the concept of time.  We have TIME left in the year to make something magical happen for us.  But at the same time.....we won't make progress towards our goals if we don't start treating the TIME that we do have, like it is scarce.    I will provide tangible practices – that I want you to implement for the entire week.
