On another Eras night where the Bruins celebrated the 1970 and 1972 squads, it was fitting to see the Black and Gold dominate their most historic rivals. The B's thumped the Canadiens—5-2—with Trent Frederic scoring two goals, along with Charlie McAvoy, Pavel Zacha and James van Riemsdyk. Jeremy Swayman was 20-for-22, continuing to look like an absolute stud in net. The Bruins roll on with yet ANOTHER victory, now 13-1-2 with 28 points to lead the NHL! We having fun yet?! Jeremy Swayman makes his regular season debut and stands on his head, while James van Riemsdyk nets his first two goals as a Boston Bruin and David Pastrnak snipes a filthy penalty shot goal as the B's take down the Nashville Predators, 3-2, to stay undefeated early in the season so far. Welcome back to the 2023-24 season! We kick things off with a fantastic group roundtable about the state of Boston sports today: what will the Bruins centennial season look like? We knew it might come, but just not today. Patrice Bergeron—a franchise icon, a Stanley Cup champion, a master of class on and off the ice—has officially announced his retirement. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Bruins took a 3-1 series lead on Sunday afternoon as they rolled to a 6-2 victory over the Panthers in Game 4. Still without Patrice Bergeron or David Krejci, the Bruins maintained their composure in the initial few minutes and took control for the rest of the game. Goals from Brad Marchand, Jake DeBrusk (x2), Tyler Bertuzzi, and Taylor Hall (x2), combined with another stellar outing from Linus Ullmark lets the Bruins put the Panthers' backs against the wall. Winning both games on the road certainly helps! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
With the series shifting to Sunrise, the Bruins manage to take Game 3 on the road despite losing David Krejci after warmups to put them down their top two centers. Taylor Hall scored early, and the Bruins didn't look back, with tallies from Charlie Coyle, David Pastrnak, and Nick Foligno. Boston reshuffled the lineup and refocused on the basics, showing every detail mattered to keep the Panthers at bay for 55 minutes. Even with late drama in the last five giving up two goals, the B's came out on top to take a 2-1 series lead! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
The Bruins tried to keep themselves in this one but lost the plot in the third period as they fell 6-3 to the Panthers and evened the series at one game a piece. Brad Marchand, Tyler Bertuzzi and Taylor Hall scored for Boston, while the B's defense left Linus Ullmark out to dry, giving up five goals and one empty netter. We have ourselves a series! The puck has dropped on the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and the Bruins got off on the right foot. With goals from David Pastrnak, Brad Marchand and Jake DeBrusk, shutdown defense, and steady goaltending from Linus Ullmark, Boston struck first in their first-round matchup with the Panthers. With a 3-1 victory, the Bruins take a 1-0 series lead. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
The Stanley Cup Playoffs are FINALLY upon us! The game may have been sloppy, but the results remain the same. The Bruins finish their regular season with a 5-4 victory over the Montreal Canadiens, finalizing season totals of 65 wins and 135 points. Just an incredible feat. Next up: the Florida Panthers in Round 1! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
The Boston Bruins took the Washington Capitals to school in a 5-2 victory in the last regular season game at TD Garden this season. Brad Marchand got the monkey off his back scoring a goal, the power play was highly effective, and the team broke the last record they conceivably could this season, setting the NHL's all-time points record. Simply put: beautiful. One last game before the playoffs! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
No Bergeron? No Krejci? No Hall? No McAvoy? No Orlov? No Ullmark? No problem. The Boston Bruins continued to buy into Jim Montgomery's all-for-one mentality, stepped up and delivered an NHL single-season record with their 63rd victory after beating the Philadelphia Flyers, 5-3. David Pastrnak put the team on his back, potting another hat trick to tally his 60th goal of the season and 300th of his career. Pavel Zacha and Charlie Coyle each netted one as well, and Jeremy Swayman backstopped another excellent performance. This team continues to do special things heading into the last two games on the season. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
In another playoff-like tilt at TD Garden, all it took were two goals from Pavel Zacha early in the first and another lockdown performance from Linus Ullmark to secure a 2-1 victory over the New Jersey Devils. When you go up against good teams, it takes your all, and Boston continues to look up to the task even as the regular season winds down. It's just remarkable to watch this Bruins team every night, and with three games remaining, they stare history in its face looking to capture an incredible milestone. Incredible goaltending. A deficit to overcome. A stellar game-tying goal. An overtime with a contentious penalty that was wiped out. A Pastrnak game-winning blast. This was as close to playoff hockey's finest as we might get during the regular season. The Boston Bruins continue to hunt for the NHL's single-season wins record after a 2-1 overtime victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
The Bruins must be exhausted, and yet they rarely care to show us they are. After going up 3-0 in St. Louis, they did give up the large lead and looked tired in the entirety of the third period. That didn't let that detract them, not did an overturned OT goal by Dmitry Orlov as a result of David Pastrnak being offsides let that phase them. Charlie Coyle and Linus Ullmark got it done in the shootout to give the Bruins their 60th win of the season. Boston gets a much needed break going this week, but it's beyond impressive what this squad continues to do. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
The Bruins have it all and then some. They still don't care, as they put up another great effort to snatch a 4-3 victory out of the hands of the Pittsburgh Penguins. David Pastrnak recorded a hat trick, including the game winner in the last three minutes, taking him to and over his first career 100 point season. The power play also scored twice, maybe a good sign of things to come! Another big win for Boston as they march into the playoffs and continue to stare down the league's wins record. While it wasn't a large margin of victory, the Boston Bruins were able to overcome an early 1-0 deficit to top the Columbus Blue Jackets in overtime, 2-1. Tyler Bertuzzi got the power play off the schneid, David Pastrnak scored a dazzling OT winner, and Linus Ullmark continued to show why he's the likely Vezina Trophy winner, standing on his head in a physical, fighting-heavy, lack-of-goals-having game. The Bruins failed to clinch the President's Trophy with a 2-1 loss to the Nashville Predators at home Tuesday night. The loss might have been most indicative of all of Boston's weaknesses as of late: an ineffective power play, looking too cute, and sloppy play. Let's hope this doesn't become a trend leading up to the playoffs! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
With the Bruins resting Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand AND Hampus Lindholm for this tilt, you'd be forgiven for thinking the Black and Gold would be happy to cruise through 60 minutes and stay healthy. No one told this team. With no quit, despite giving up a two-goal lead early in the third, they took all two points with a shootout victory in Carolina. Learn more about your ad choices. The Bruins found themselves in another physical and aggressive battle against the Lightning Saturday afternoon. With goals from Patrice Bergeron and Garnet Hathaway and more stout goaltending from Linus Ullmark, Boston found yet another way to take home two points and, in the process, clinched the Atlantic Division title. Despite the difference in the standings, the Bruins and Canadiens felt like they were playing for hometown glory. A first goal as a Bruin from a trade deadline acquisition and some beautiful tallies combined with feisty play all the way around proved to be quite an entertaining match in Boston. Still, the Bruins showed their might and came out on top with a 4-2 win. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

In what could have been a trap game in the second leg of a back-to-back, the Bruins pounded the back of the net early and often. Seven different goal scorers for seven goals and a second consecutive shutout for Jeremy Swayman can help Bruins fans rest easy with a 7-0 victory in Buffalo. Learn more about your ad choices. Coming into the game looking to re-build momentum and simmer a red-hot Wild team, the Bruins–despite giving up the first goal of the game again–found themselves to be much more in control of themselves. In critical moments, they didn't shoot themselves in the feet and pushed forward on their way to a 5-2 win. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Coming into Winnipeg, the Bruins desperately needed to find their rhythm. While it still wasn't a perfect outing, it was more than enough for that they needed. With goals from Trent Frederic, Pavel Zacha and Tomas Nosek, Boston notched another win in this stellar 2023 season. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
The frustrating road trip keeps going in Chicago, as the Bruins, despite a decent start and multiple goals, couldn't keep the Blackhawks at bay. Is this the Bruins regressing to the rest of the league's mean or is this just the frustrating challenge the Black and Gold need to make themselves stronger? Lots of thoughts after Boston's 6-3 loss. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Another horrific start for the Bruins, as they find themselves in a 4-0 hole late in the second period. Despite a valiant effort scoring three of their own, they couldn't finish the comeback as they lose the second game of their back-to-back with the Red Wings. Learn more about your ad choices. Despite finding themselves in a two-goal hole early on, the Bruins came out a different team in the second period, climbing the mountain and planting their flag at the top as they earned their 50th win of the 2022-23 campaign. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
